Yeah, the second episode was MUCH better, and Michiko seems so far like a badass that can be a bit gullible, which isn't incompatible at all, and I like her dynamic with Hatchin so far too.

I just watched the first episode of Michiko to Hatchin and... Her "badassery" in the first episode is off the charts, I'm curious to see how on Earth this girl could be as close to incompetent as Space Dandy. I'd hate to say it, but watching the first episode was REALLY hard to watch, the adoptive parents were so ridiculously cartoonish evil that it really started to annoy me... They were constantly attacking her in the worse ways possible... And all this happened in 24 hours? I know this was meant so we'd feel sympathy for Hatchin, but... was it necessary to go so far? I know her mom is a criminal, but they have to make the adoptive family so evil they make Dr. Doom look nice just so we wouldn't feel bad her mother is a criminal? It was also pretty weird to finally watch an anime dubbed again, I can't remember the last time I did that. I'm still going to continue to watch the show despite the very rough start. :|

That's the main reason I didn't vote for Dear Leader. Don't we already have Tropico for that anyway? :|

I feel like many of these prototypes are games I've seen before, but with a Double Fine touch. Era of Adventure seems like something Double Fine SHOULD do, Timagotchi will never win, but I wish it would... I wanna feed my lil' Tim some hoagies! The last thing I voted for was Cat in a Box, I know cats are more overused than anything on the Internet, but... It seemed like it might be fun? As for the Pendleton Ward one, I would have chose the Cupid one, if it weren't going to be an iOS game, so I chose Lil' Pink Best Buds. Apart from Era of Adventure, I don't think any of what I chose will win. :|

Really? So far: Anyway, I saw the first episode of Wonder Momo... It's so weird that Shifty Look managed to get this turned into an anime. It's only 7 minutes long and cheesy as hell, but so was the arcade game it was based on. I haven't read the webcomic though.

What the..?! I just saw the episode of Space Dandy with the little girl and... it was an episode of Cowboy Bebop... Dandy has never been this nice or competent... he was badass and had a heart of gold! I'm conflicted... As amazing as this episode was, it clashes SO much with the tone of the other episodes that it feels almost like another show, at least from the preview of the next episode it looks like Space Dandy will be funny again, it looks like a parody of one those shirtless Kirk battles from what I saw. At least he "failed", but still, the tone shift is so awkward.

I guess it's because the movie it's officially out in Europe? I got it at Greenmangaming and I hope Steam won't cut access to this game like it did with Scribblenauts Unlimited, it happened after I beat the game, but Steam cut access to it until it was officially released in Europe. :|

I completed LEGO The Movie: the game and it's just like all the other LEGO games, but based on the LEGO Movie, I think this movie might have been catered a bit toward people who actually play with real LEGO, since the "jobs" you get in this game are closer to the jobs you get from normal LEGO sets, firemen, cops, builders... Not to mention the main mini game is more or less building what you need with LEGO in more "real" way, you need to find the instructions and then you play a mini game where you must select the next few parts, the game takes over for a while and then you select the next few parts until it's done... This game is making want to buy real LEGO sets, which must mean they've done something right. The game is also a bit about the conflict of LEGO builders who just follow instructions and whose who just build what they want, "instruction followers" are incapable of creating anything without instructions and "free form" builders can't follow instructions... I kinda like how the game building system makes you more involved, it really makes you appreciate how much work goes into a LEGO set instead of just magically building at lighting speed where you don't even see what they did. As for completionism, this game seems a bit on the light side after LEGO Marvel, but frankly, LEGO Marvel went so overboard that I'd rather have all games be more like this one than LEGO Marvel, sure the hub world isn't as alive and people don't talk, but... no racing games! No stupid overlong fetch quests for just a gold brick. By the way, this game "only" has 75 gold bricks compared to the 250 LEGO Marvel had. Like I said, I'd rather have 75 than 250, specially since these are less annoying to get. The only thing I think I should mention is this game has a "pants" system, where a character can gain abilities like in LEGO Lord of the Ring with the Mithril items, some are useful, some are just funny.

Hmm, is Kill la Kill coming close to the end? It's weird, the show has an intro like it was a new season, but it feels like it shouldn't have that many more unless the DBZ it up and make the battles last episodes, but that doesn't seem like Trigger's style. I know I said the same a few episodes before, but even if there is a full season left, I feel like it will be the final season anyway. :|

Well, I'm glad I didn't see it coming and I'm glad I didn't it would have had such an impact if I knew what was going to happen.

I recently completed Stick It To The Man, a very Pyschonauts inspired game, it's not as awesome as Pyschonauts, but it's still great. I played the remake of Mickey's Castle of Illusions, since I originally played the Master System the game was very different for me, I just found right now that the Genesis version has completely different bosses... I always assumed it just looked better. :| Anyway, it's the remake is still pretty faithful, the level are the same in each version, so that part was still familiar, the game actually demands that you collect gems to continue, something I don't remember from the Master System version, but I always had more than enough gems to continue. There were also collectibles for statues of the bosses of the game and other trinkets. And for the final boss, it really put me to the test, she was very challenging, she was actually much harder than the original boss, but they didn't go crazy, unlike other some retro remakes I won't mention *cough* Giana Sisters*cough* Oddly enough I own the Genesis version of the game, I never played because, like I said before, I thought it was the exact same version as the Master System but with better graphics... :|

It's on sale at PSN, so I bought it... I'm on the "screw the negative reviews" side, the only problem this game is, that since it looks like Pyschonauts, you're expecting Pyschonauts 2. This game is kinda brilliant, is it Tim Schafer brilliant? Not all the time, but some moments are just great! Some puzzles feel like something I would see in a Tim Schafer game, others are too straight forward... It oozes "cartoon logic" in many puzzles, in a way I've only seen Tim Schafer and Deponia do well. The platform chases are more annoying than challenging, it's more about messing with the AI than anything else. My only big complaint is that I bought the Vita version and it didn't seem to have touch controls, which is some cases would have made the game much better. At the price the game is right now at PSN, I REALLY recommend it, it's less than 5 €! This is clearly a game made by someone who likes adventure games and Pyschonauts, don't think of it as competition, think of it as a love letter from a fan.

I clicked on the spoiler not realizing this was an episode that I've not seen yet... (It's not up on Hulu yet?) But this is pretty common trope.
-
Guys, what are you talking about TIMAGOTCHI, is the only option here! Just hack Pokémon-Amie and add Tim-Schafer and that's enough for me!

A character can say perverted things, butyou can't know a character's true colors until this character actually does something. Show, don't tell. Jesus, how many characters are just pretending to be something they are not? We know Dandy is a braggart and incapable of doing anything for real because when it's time for action, he fails... How would we know he's a failure without something to fail at? As for consequences, you're more or less right? All the money he's making catching aliens he's spending at the "Boobies" bar, he says himself that he LIVES for this place, he is putting his life on the line to go to Space Hooters. So even when he's chasing aliens instead of "tails", he's doing for it for Space Hooters. He's died twice, and since he does everything for this Space Hooters, you could claim his lechery has consequences, because he does everything with lechery on his mind.

Is it really? The show itself looks down at the characters who views the girls as eye candy. You can't look down at a pervert without eye candy, in the same way you can't have a show that shows you how disgusting violence can be without being disgustingly violent.
-
I'm going to be very sad if "Timagotchi" doesn't win... Also Tim eats a "Hoagie"? DAY OF THE TENTACLE 2 CONFIRMED!
-
Damn, nobody has posted here since my last post? Am I the only who has played the new episode so far?
-
Hmm, Amnesia Fortnight 2 Electric Boogaloo seems more logical, but shouldn't it also have prototypes of existing DF games too?
-
Hm, I'm pretty sure there was some sort of Double Fine Bundle before? Are they just going to add Broken Age?
-
I just watched the latest Space Dandy and I'm 130% positive the show is not condoning the main character's "perviness", he NEVER gets the girl, he never even gets to grope a girl, the girls actually DON'T WANT TO BE GROPED! Am I mistaken or did the change the name of the "great evil flaming skull guy" from episode to episode, they are literally YELLING at your face. DO... NOT... TAKE.. US... SERIOUSLY! I love how they handle the zombies trope in this episode, Space Dandy just ignored the ridiculously obvious signs of trouble, it also confirmed my suspicion that the "bad guys" will keep be taken out by what ever is trying to kill Space Dandy, which will make the bad guys fear him even more. But seriously, the zombie episode is brilliant... I think from the preview of the next episode might tackle sidekicks in some way? It's still too soon to know if every episode will tackle some sort of trope or not, but seeing how well they do it, I hope they do.

Frankly, I'd rather have a lightning paced show like Kill la Kill where Ryuuko is as strong as she need instead of the DBZ days where combat was 200 episodes of training and 200 episodes of fighting the enemy. :| But the show does show that she is stronger, she can take out "one star students" without the help of Senketsu, I think the problem is with Satsuki, she's fought so little it's hard to tell how strong she really is. I saw a screencap of Hunter X Hunter when on Crunckyroll when the episode of Kill la Kill ended, it was giant goofy octopus... I'm kinda intrigued about the show now? But I think Soul Eater and Dangan Ronpa and higher on my list of shows to catch up on.

I'm not sure if Space Dandy has a plot, it's like whatever happens in one episode has no effect on the rest.
-
So I should seek out the first five volumes of ADV and forget about the rest?
