With Proxymate I can watch Crunchyroll, Daisuki and Hulu... But yeah, I can't only see the episodes they have on Hulu so far. :|
-
Damn, they only have two Episodes of Princess Jellyfish on Hulu... do you need to pay anything to watch shows on Funimation? At least The Wallflower is on Hulu, I'll watch that in the mean time, thanks for the suggestions! :3
-
Yeah, they do have a very special relationship, Haruhi seems to bring the best of out all of them. Tamaki might have brought them together as friends, but Haruhi made them a "family"?

Hmm, it might be I enjoy Shoujo over Shonen for starters, less fighting, more character development... As for this show in particular, I just loved the characters, like you said the show is pretty optimistic and has a high energy. I'm frankly surprised on how much I love the characters and how much I laugh WITH and not AT them, I'd usually hate characters like Tamaki or Kyoya, but here I just got to know them better and found them amazing!

Damn, I've finished Ouran and I have no idea of what to watch next that will come close to this show in tone and humor... Maybe Fruits Basket? I have no idea...

Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.
Tanukitsune replied to Tanukitsune's topic in Video Gaming
I got the latest adventure bundle from Humble Bundle and I really can't stomach first person adventure games... I quit Aura: Fate of the Ages and Dracula 4: Shadow of the Dragon for this same reason, but looking at online walkthoughs made me glad I did skip them... they did not look very good or fun to play. Mystery Series: A Vampire Tale is a hidden object game, but a very old one, so there is a time limit and all you do is search for objects, so it was pretty terrible. -
Last week I beat: Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart: Remember when I talked about Infected the Twin Vaccine, an hidden object adventure that was so bad it was the greatest thing ever? This one was actually good, probably better that some adventure games that somehow got a sequel *cough*Jack Keane 2*cough*, the puzzles and the logic were pretty solid and the story writing wasn't that original, it wasn't flawed or boring. The most interesting part? This hidden object adventure makes the hidden object sections OPTIONAL, that is, if you play a game of mahjong instead. So yeah, hidden object adventures are getting really decent really. Some are even worth checking out! Safecracker: The Ultimate Puzzle Adventure: I'm not sure why I played this adventure game, I kinda hate first person adventure games, but the idea intrigued me. You are a safe cracker that must find the will of a guy who really likes puzzles and safes. You don't actually crack safes, you just solve puzzles to open them or get the code to open them. As you play you find letters about the family and in the end, you get to decide who gets the inheritance. And the game let's you print the will you create, which is kinda cute? Dysfunctional Systems Learning to Manage Chaos: A visual novel that is.... pretty short, I guess it's episodic, the story didn't really captivate me, so I don't think I'll get the next one.

There is a Not Safe For Work Bundle.... And Dinner Date is one of the games? It has "Seduce Me", wasn't it talked about some time ago because Steam refused to publish it? And a game called "My Girlfriend is the President"? WHAT?! ಠ_ಠ Ye gods.... She's called "Yukino Ohama".... Gee, I wonder who that's a reference for... I... I just...THANKS, OHAMA!

Deponia and The Edna & Harvey games are great, the Unwritten Tales are OK. I haven't played Jack Keane 2, but the I hated the first one. I don't know the rest, but I'm pretty one of them is really a hidden object game though, they kinda like adventure games now anyway.

I finally completed the iOS version of Ghost Trick, while playing it on an iPod wasn't as comfortable as a portable gaming system, it was better than nothing. The game did kinda lagged at the beginning since it felt like everything was dragging and nothing seemed to connect or make sense... but soon after the thread wove themselves perfectly to make an ending close to 999 good, specially in the sense it wraps up perfectly. Also, MISSILE! Missile is a top Pomeranian!

Twice the number of levels? Did it have 50 levels? Or it that just the Vita remake? I've heard Pale Wing is in the game. I hope you don't have to play the whole game to unlock the Pale Wing, because the jetpack makes moving around so much less annoying, not to mention that her weapons were more 70's sci-fi looking.

I've watched one episode of Ouran High School Host Club and I think I'm hooked... I'm finding the characters both amusing and compelling, I'm surprised how much I love them all after only one episode.

*obligatory grumpy post from Tanu about how he already owns the games in the Humble Bundle* It's strange the only bundles I've bought recently have been from Groupees, every other indie bundle is either all games I already own or some games I own and some I don't care about. :| I have four coupons, I doubt Spacebase counts since it's still early access and there are five DF games on Steam, so... which one does count? I guess The Cave since SEGA published it?

Is the an extensive "History of inventions" book out there?
Tanukitsune replied to Tanukitsune's topic in Books
Thanks, this does sound pretty much like what I'm looking for. -
I just read the two volumes of Glory that the artist of "Wet Moon" worked on, foolishly expecting it to be like Wet Moon or at least a bit like She-Hulk, some smashing then some downtime with character development... Boy, was I wrong. This comic is confusing, I'm not sure if it's badly written of if the writers are trolling us, not to mention it's incredibly violent. As for the story, a teenage dreams of Glorianna a super hero and tries to find her, she does and... *groan* It's the finale that really gets me... It's so stupid and illogical it's infuriating. I don't know how the person who recommended me would like this, then again, she was a fan of Wet Moon and Ross Campbell too. *shrugs*

I finished the Oz collection, it was formulaic, but still "whimsical" enough, it was pretty strange to find out that the final book in this collection was written by Frank Baum's biggest fan, who continued the legacy of Oz OFFICIALLY, how crazy is that? I also just started to read the H.G. Wells collection I got... He sure is verbose. The Time Machine was about 80 pages, but felt like much more.

Wow, I didn't expect to beat Ultionus: A Tale of Petty Revenge that quickly, but then again, it's more or less a remake of Phantis, so the length is more or less the expected. The soundtrack is from Jake Kaufman, so it's awesome and it's more or like Phantis, an old ZX Spectrum/Amstrad game, with a new look, plot... It's really weird... I guess this is the fan version of "Phantis Nº 9" if you catch my drift. It's clearly Phantis, but he clearly didn't have the rights to the game, so he changed enough to not get sued? Anyway, since it's based a late 80's Spanish video game, when nearly all covers looked like Heavy Metal albums, well... she wears a "space bikini", which is what Phantis wore. I don't care what people will think, this is a game where a space girl kicks the royals jewels of a prince for telling her to get back into the kitchen on a space social network... *shrugs*

I don't see anything on the European eShop sales page. :|

I stopped watching Venture Bros only because. the software I used to watch US shows stopped working... I think? I should really try to catch up. how many seasons have passed since I just started watching "Wander over Yonder" and... it's amazing? Of all the new cartoons that came out recently, it's pretty safe to say this one is the best I've seen. First Gravity Falls and now Wonder over Yonder, who would think Disney cartoon would get so awesome! PS: Did anybody see the Mabel shorts on YouTube? BRILLIANT! X3

A while ago Fred Perry, the creator of Gold Digger, gave away the first 199 issues of the comic and I finally read them all. I think I really like them, but I hate that he keeps adding new characters and it feels like story arcs never end, they just merge. Apart from the generic blue haired character, I'm surprised I can actually kinda recognize that character that appeared 30 issues ago, but at same time... there is just so much to keep track of. ARG! Can you at least finally get done with Dreadwing? I really love the characters, and I'm surprised a comic that has reached so many issues which doing something to upset me or make me lose interest, the "drama/fun times" ratio is pretty good, it's never too silly and neither does it have to kill a character every issue to be "dramatic", which is really a commendable feat in my opinion. Does anybody read that comic? Is it still any good? I hope so. :|

I just completed Infected: The Twins Vaccine and while it has higher production values that your average "Interactive Hidden Object Game" (a.k.a. like an adventure game only with all the stuff you hate about them), this when from bad to hilariously badly designed pretty quickly. I actually laughed audibly at the ridiculously convoluted and dumb puzzles the game had. You keep throwing away items you'll need later, so you need to find a new one, but this one is just hilariously bad... In one area, you need to get rid of some rubble, that you could easily climb over anyway, by the way, how do you do that? WITH DYNAMITE! Obviously this creates a fire that you can't just walk over either, so you need to turn off the sprinklers... the room you get the button to turn them on is the best puzzle in gaming history! It's frozen in ice, so you take the CHISEL, which you use with a HAMMER on the wall (DUH!), to get a BOX-CUTTER, to do a bunch of stupid things.... to make HOT SOUP to melt the ice! VIDEO GAMES! This might be my new favorite "best worst" game, because boy has it made appreciate better and more coherent puzzle design.

Well, Earthbound is Mother 2, so you wouldn't be skipping anything if you played Mother 3. Isn't Mother 1 more or less the same game as Mother 2 anyway? I only played a handful of them, but now I've played them all and, I still maintain that they are very meh, it not even worse, but Perfect Stride was actually fun, my favorite of the batch was Guilded Youth.

Wow.... The adventure game didn't even make it to the finals... That's kinda depressing. I don't really care about any of the game that won, if the horse game becomes a full game, it's still be one I'd get while it was on sale... reluctantly. :|

I just use "beat" when I "won" and "completed" if I did the extra stuff... I also got the latest Groupees bundle and started to play the Grimm games which are old, but exclusive to Gametap until recently. The gameplay is similar to Katamari Damacy, but instead of growing, you "dark influence radius" grows. Grimm's job is to take sugar coated fairy tales and darken them to show their true origins at first you can barely convert much to darkness, and people and animals will try to clean your mess, but as the world grows darker, you grow stronger and can convert bigger items and eventually building and people. I really love seeing the morphing effects and the game is very stylized too. It's also fun too see how the dark and light parts of the world react to each other, the light will try to clean it up, but sometimes that lil' blue bird becomes a giant crow that will attack and distract a human. They really reuse assets between episodes, but it's understand since I understand it was episodic. I also recently remember I never played the LA Game Space games... Wow, the experimental games are really... meh? And this is from the guy who enjoysTale of Tales game where all you do is walk down the beach. VideoHeroeS was the only one I actually enjoyed so far, you play as the only of a VHS rental store and have to deal with customers who give very vague descriptions of movies.

It figures that the ideas that have been done before and are popular but will just have "Double Fine" touch, but I can't complain since I voted for Eras of Adventure with isn't that original either. :|
