  1. The Wolf Among Us

The make up is ridiculous, I almost tempted to start some sort cool gamer cosplayers, I've got some ridiculously Guybrush and Laverne from DOTD cosplay that I wanted to share. I've also seen people use this line effect for their Borderlands cosplay.
  2. The Wolf Among Us

Now that's some awesome Bigby cosplay!

I beat the Regular Show WayForward made and considered that the did a pretty good job with Adventure Time, either they didn't have the budget or time to make this one any better. You're trapped in a video game, but you fight villains from the show? How does that even work? Anyway, it's kinda two retro since Mordecai and Rigby die in one hit unless they get an attack power up, which is the only way to harm enemies... unless you jump on them. You only gain two power which can only be uses in very specific places and are the true "8-bit" part of the game, Mordecai can turn into a shmup ship in space tiles and Rigby tuns into a top down shooter guy... when there are other top down shooter enemies around? Sometimes it gets kinda crazy when you have to switch character on the fly, but it's not really as hard as I expected, the final boss even has a check point in the middle of it's six forms. But still, you can tell they didn't have the money or time for this one since there is no voice acting at all, and the cutscenes are GBA bad... What kinda makes me think they didn't have the time or money is that unlocked a lot of concept art which looks way much cooler than what you do in the game.
  4. Idle Digging - Shovel Knight

Goddammit, I was about to buy it for a my trip and I just found out it's not in the EU eShop yet. I guess I'll buy the Steam version by the time it comes out of the 3DS it will be too late for me. :|

I beat the rest of the Spy Fox series, I didn't expect the series to be this short. Only 3 games? I enjoyed the terrible puns although some are too forced even for me... Playing them all in a row I realized how I kept running into a bear lady who I'm partially responsible of her losing her job in the last game and really enjoyed the cosmetic queen poodle as a cartoon villain. I only regret Spy Fox didn't get as many games as the rest of the Humongous series... I like the terrible puns, cartoon villains and simple puzzles, they aren't as easy as the other Humongous games, so I enjoy them a bit more. EDIT: I also had time to beat the two Pajama Sam games I had yet to play and... wow, I had no idea Atari bought Humongous Entertainment. The final game is from that era and... it kinda sucks, the voice actors are worse, the animation looks cheaper and there is less of it and wasn't as well designed... Pajama Sam is for 3-8 year olds, but some puzzles seemed too complex for a little kid's game, not to mention it's loses the little educational content it tends to have.
  6. Walking Dead Season the Second

Well, we all know at least someone will die and since they confirmed a third season at SDCC we know it WON'T be the grand finale.
  7. Walking Dead Season the Second

No, I re-watched the scene and he beat him in the area next it, nobody says he's lost his eye, they just say he's beat up pretty bad. He got a big gash next to his eye, but who knows maybe Telltale is explicitly not saying Kenny is blind in one eye just in hopes of surprising people when he is... even though he was never punched directly in the eye. I did some research and it just happens the episode I found some flaws in it was written by people who haven't worked on a TT game before, so I stand by my stance that this episode has sloppy writing. If nobody else wants to see it, fine, it's not worth talking about anymore, although it feels some people are agreeing the episode has flaws, we can't seem to agree on which ones are valid, which only makes me want to stop talking about it even more. Frankly, TT games generally have a forgivable flaw or two, this just happens to be the only episode where the flaws did bother me. That's all I'll say.

There is a Humble Flash sale (24 hours) of Humongous Entertainment games!

Because it's obvious they didn't, Kenny has the exact same bandages he had since the injury, for example, I know it's extra assets to create, they didn't even give him clean bandages. And don't say it's unimportant, Oh and... The more I think about they more it seems it's like car supplies scene in season 1, it exists just to get us in trouble and then "stops existing" once it's served it's purpose of dooming you all. It's a plot object to trigger a future cutscene, not a "real object".
  11. Walking Dead Season the Second

I don't know what to say, but That's all I'll say about the issue, I only partially agree with you... In the way you see it, it wasn't forgotten, in the way I see it, they did.

  13. Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

Really? I've been watching Game Grumps play it and it seems like a blast.... I was kinda depending on it being good to have something to play on my upcoming trip... Bummer.
  14. Walking Dead Season the Second

I guess you're kinda right, SuperBiasedMan, it would make sense for Kenny to act like Clementine is the new Lee, but the rest? As much as I like seeing Clementine grow, the way they treat her like she can do anything is kinda disturbing, even the new guys quickly join the "Yeah, I bet Clementine can solve this problem." It's one thing to have a character grow and become stronger, but when you stop to think about it, she's not even a teenager yet and people are depending on her like she's some super hero. If would be kinda hilarious if they they took this to an even bigger extreme and made the baby the hero of the next season and have the baby kill it's first zombie before it even learns to speak. They never named the baby, did they? Is this another thing they forgot or is this some important decisions you make in the final chapter? I bet you get the option to name it Lee.
  15. I got a game called Clickr which I don't think anybody plays since I got first place in some level's leaderboards on my first try... I used a cheat device to get the currency to unlock more levels only to find out later that... it uses VAC? What?!? How screwed am I? I'm not sure if I'll get banned from ALL games, of only this game? I barely play multiplayer or even games with VAC servers, so on one side it wouldn't be the end of the world... I will be be so upset if I get banned from Steam from a stupid game nobody plays and that isn't very good. I'm tempted to contact the makers and explain the situation, I really have no idea what to do... I didn't even notice the game had multiplayer...
  16. Walking Dead Season the Second

You're right about Clementine, she seems to have grown enough to not need another season to see her grow, she's already proved to be as good as most of the adults.
  17. Walking Dead Season the Second

Season 3 confirmed! Ok, I guess we can speculate more on how this ends? It would be nice to have one final season to see Clementine become even more strong and resourceful, I just hope they don't make it a yearly thing, it would get repetitive and predictable for sure if it does.... or we'll stop caring? I know I stopped caring about AssCreed once I found out it would be an annual thing.

  20. Comics Extravaganza - Pow Bang Smash!

I'm pretty new to Gail Simone, but she's doing Tomb Raider and Dark Horse is also having a sort of SDCC sale, I really loved the few of Gail Simone's work I've read, so is it safe to assume the Tomb Raider comic is good? I'm definitely getting The Goon one-shot.
  21. Walking Dead Season the Second

I'm curious and worried about the finale, while I have no idea what might happen in it, except what I posted about before, which I really hope won't happen.
  22. Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse Kickstarter

Would anybody recommend the Vita version? I'm leaving on vacation next week and I've yet to play the game and this would be a good time to play it.
  23. Comics Extravaganza - Pow Bang Smash!

For those who care, Comixology is having a daily 45 cent sale for the 45th San Diego Comic Con, you missed out on Love & Rockets, but you can check the daily deal here.
  24. Walking Dead Season the Second

Well, I just beat the latest episode and... While I'm still enjoying the episodes, it's starting to get predictable in the sense that there is never an easy choice and when it does seem like the right thing to do, the game shows you how wrong you are pretty quick. It's quickly becoming "Choose who dies: The Game" and I'm wondering if I'm still enjoying another full season of it, which I'm sure will happen unless they rap everything up in the finale... I wouldn't mind a DLC episode with a grown up Clementine. It would be kinda amazing if Clementine was different depending on how you played her before. As for the finale...

It has +100 levels, some of the optional levels are the most excruciating, since they all have a time limit and force you to find several items or rescue hostages with no hint of where to even look... I'm glad the most boring levels were optional at least. :| Oh, by the way since the game's art is from Paul Robertson, all of the sudden you reach a temple of scantly clad amazons, it's not a Paul Robertson game if it's not full of busty jiggly women and dogs... lots a weird dog bosses.
