Europe's PSN seems to have a Disney sale, at least Lego Pirates of the Caribbean is for sale?

I think we got the same ending, only I interpreted it differently. I just beat the PS3 version of the Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut, which I think might be the best version? Sure, I miss the 360's green tint on everything, but... this version is so ridiculously stable, not a single crash or glitch, I only got some ridiculously low frame rates and that's about it... Everything is easier in this version, the driver, the mini-games... It was great to play this game with nothing going wrong... I'm looking at you PC port. Apart from some DLC that I think was added to the game, the extra scenes don't really add that much up until the very end.

Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

I hate to make another post when the last post was mine, but... it's really killing me to say this, I'm quitting Double Fine's Hack 'n' Slash. The game starts simple enough so any logical person can solve the puzzles without any knowledge of programming, with simply stuff like "Open=true", eventually the games puzzles are small scripts which are still understandable, but the start becoming more complex too. When I finally passed the trial, I was given a new item to enter lua scripts and... that's when I quit, I don't know anything about lua scripts, but these have way too many layers for me to keep track of everything. I expected the game would require some minimal knowledge of programming and maybe it's even build in a way to slowly teach code, but the point I've reached is too complex for me, or to be more precise, too complex to be fun, because as the code becomes more complex it feels less like a game and more like work. -

I don't know what is worst, people selling codes for a DEMO or the people paying for them, I don't care, I made a few kids pretty happy today with those codes. Also, I think I missed something, I could swear I heard Smash Bros was going to be 3DS XL only? Or is the RPG remake whose name I can't remember? -
Same here... I got this from the latest Humble Bundle and... I couldn't play it... It just felt wrong to slowly build an execution chamber in the tutorial. This game is too depressing to play.

Is the Platinum club something like the European "Ambassadors"? I don't even know if Europe has a Nintendo club, but I bought the 3DS early and became an Ambassador. I had no idea how rare the codes are when I offered them online and got my Twitter feed flooded with requests... I made an improvised contest of "The fastest typer wins" and it was a pretty fun experience... Although people are still asking for a code. -
I beat "The Novelist", a weird indie game. You are a ghost inhabiting a summer house were a novelist and his family will spend the summer, the novelist needs to finish his novel, the wife is an artist and the kid... is a kid. You play "story mode" or "stealth mode", which just means whether the humans can see you or not, but since you can hide in lamps and jump from lamp to lamp it doesn't really matter which you choose. The ghost must find clues, a.k.a. "read every note in the house", then sneak up to the humans and enter their memories and search for more clues, then you read their minds and they will say what they want. Here is the real interesting part of the game, you can only really help one of them, but if you get the clues for all of them, you can make a "compromise" and try to help the other person a little, so it's a bit of juggling act, and I'm not sure you can even get a happy ending with all three of them? It does get rather tedious, though.

Man, I didn't know how rare they were and posted about it on Twitter and gained a ton of followers... I guess I have to give them away now? XP -
Yeah, I have an extra Gone Home too, speaking of Humble Bundle the deals are pretty sweet at the store. Is Godus as bad as I fear? It's only 5$, but if it's just a bad Populus, then I don't care. Steam has a Capcom sale and RE 6 is 75% off... Does anybody think it's worth it? Or Lost Planet 3?
-
Either I follow the artist on Tumblr or I follow on of their friends reblogging the artwork, because I know I've seen Teen Dog before. Does anybody have any thoughts on the Humble Star Trek Comic Bundle?

I've had Crysis 3 on my PS3 since it was a free PSN+ game and finally decided to give it a go. I had completely forgotten about "the year of the bow" and that this game also had one, I got kinda excited since you have a stealth suit to make extra sneaky stealth bow kills, but I soon found out this game suffers from "Superman Syndrome", as in the game gives you superpowers and then gives everybody "Kryptonite" and this case the game has EMP grenades, which I would be totally fine with if they hadn't thrown a few at me when it's impossible for them to know where I am and frankly left we realizing I'd rather play any other game from the "year of the bow". And who gives you a bow and doesn't let you hunt? -
Wait, what? Didn't the last season end a month ago?
-
I was going to complain about the prizes being better until I realized you're European too, I'm 450 away from this and while I have plush Yoshi, it's not like there will be anything better?

Eating innocent animals is tasteful? To tell the truth, I stopped playing Mrs. Splosion Man because of how distasteful I found it with "girlified" Splosion Man, she spouted the kind of stuff you heard from that Barbie parody in the Simpsons and while I don't remember exactly, I stopped when I realized the next level was a spa or a mall? You know, because girliness! The worst I saw in LocoCycle was the little people strapped with dynamite they toss at you, suicide bombers are rather distasteful, but almost a staple in video games.
-
Frankly, I'd say most of the other Twisted Pixel games are more tasteless than LocoCycle. I didn't really find the guy stuck to the bike funny, but the bikes themselves were hilarious to me. *shrugs*
-
Most of the negative reviews I've seen are people hating it because it wasn't a racer, or to be exact, because it doesn't play like a racer.
-
I just finished LocoCycle, Twisted Pixel latest game.... I didn't even know it was out on PC! This is not only my favorite Twisted Pixel game, but the most fun I had since well, not that long ago, because Super Mario 3D World was amazing, but this is the most fun I've had on PC for a while! This game is a love letter to old arcade games, it looks like it might be like Road Rash, but it's really more of a brawler... it's definitely not a racing game that's for sure, you only have to fast for bonus missions. And if you upgrade enough, you can just ram into everything and not care. What they really nailed was the arcade pacing each section is practically the same length as arcade level and play just as fast as it should, there is no AAA slog, no grinding... I guess the only reason nobody cared about this game is that it was a XBone launch title... And people getting upset it's not a racer? Who cares, I got to see a bike beat up a helicopter!
-
I kinda gave up on reading that whole saga when I saw the "hostile" was slowly calming down and being reasonable 5 or 6 pages in? But speaking of "storify" posts, here's one about Zoe Quinn infiltrating the enemy ranks and recording the chat logs with incriminating evidence and sending it to the police! Wow, she's pretty awesome and brave to do that.

Aaah! This is the best thread ever! It's also basically what my Tumblr feed looks like.... (if you add Sailor Moon and food pr0n). Here's a few I haven't seen yet that I like:

Yeah, you're right, the second episode with the bees was the worst, but like you said, it might be a bit more demanding than Volgarr in many senses, but since it has more checkpoints it "hurts" less. Also, Tiny Barbarian has an actual health bar. But to me no checkpoints before a boss is just too much, if it was at least a shorter level I could begrudgingly continue, but this is too much for me. -

Wait, I can't believe I got farther than you, even if it just a little more. And yes, it was very annoying boss you had to make a spear ladder and hit him before he smashed you and the spears. -
I beat a few games lately: -Spate: It's a "steam-punk noir" platform game with "absinthe mechanics", except the Noir part is just a length "gruff" monologue between tedious generic levels with little to none steam-punk in it. The "absinthe gimmick" is kinda interesting, but gets old fast, it stops time for some items and makes you jump a little more and you hallucinate a little? -Pokémon Rumble U: I never played the previous game in this series, but it looked like simple fun and something I could play with my five year old nephew. It was pretty simple, almost too simplistic since you only have one or two attacks, but the chaos and traps made it more than fun enough for me. -Fist Puncher: I expected an "8-bit brawler" that would bore me make me quit it, but it kinda surprised me, despite it's almost ugly graphics, it was kinda fun, you can find secret areas, secret characters and as I played as the beekeeper character I just destroyed everyone with my swarm of bees. Actually I think I only liked the game because I could just use the swarm of bees and nothing else to win.

Well, I guess I'm glad I missed that meme. But I'm on the side that thinks they won't take the death threats seriously, but I do think they'll do some work, I think the best case scenario that a few jerks get... what ever is the English word for when someone isn't allowed to approach someone anymore? How does even work now that you can cyber stalk someone? Hopefully this will scare a few people from making more threats.

I give up on Volgarr The Viking, I was OK with the fact the game has NO checkpoints and forces you to beat it a level in one go... until I found out it had bosses. I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure even maso-core games have checkpoints before a boss, or the boss is just a level, or the level is just shorter, this is just asking for too much. I'm just glad I got with a Humble Bundle. -
I think the best JonTron said was something in the vein of "I'm not one of them, but I don't care if you believe me or not.", I guess he was just didn't care after all the trouble he got with the ableist slur he used, which I don't even know if he ever apologized for. Wait... could it be that this PressFart guy somehow "rallied the troops" into thinking JonTron was on their side? Although I'm pretty sure he left Game Grumps because he couldn't find time to do his own videos.
