Europe is have a January sale and it has both Danganronpa games for 19.99 each, which does sound tempting.

Hmm, a little Googling tells me that this one seems to be the "real Harvest Moon" since it's going to be called "Story of Seasons" and the new game with the Harvest Moon game. The Lost Valley looks kinda bad. Man, things are going to be confusing, but it seems that the safe bet is "Marvelous Entertainment" since they made the other Harvest Moon games? It looks like Japan won't be even getting the "fake" Harvest Moon game, like I said, things are going to be confusing.

I beat a few games since my last post: Starship Damrey, with damn cute robots and the story really got me, it's really short and barely has any puzzles, but the few things it does have it does well. Deadfall Adventures. a ripoff of Uncharted that even has the "notebook" thing to help you solve puzzles, it's very bland, like a so-so vanilla ice cream. Child of Light, a very pretty game, but it seemed too easy and that was before I realized how game breaking the potions are. It was like playing a whimsical fairy tale. Rogue Legacy, I'm pretty sure I cheated on the Steam version, so my hope for beating the Vita version was low, specially since I hadn't played in almost a month and left it right before the final area, the hardest area, and yet... I beat the final area rather quick and easy, and the final boss? Sure, I died a lot, but once I got the pattern down, I beat him! HUZZAH!

Wait, wait, I thought the people who made the original Harvest Moon games had some issues and from now on the "Harvest Moon" series is made by others and not in the same vein?

Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.
Tanukitsune replied to Tanukitsune's topic in Video Gaming
Oh, so you're willing to make a mess, but not willing to clean it up? I'm thinking of quitting Deadfall Adventures, I was expecting a dumb "Indy/Tomb Raider" ripoff, except... it's not dumb, just incredibly generic. The combat is annoying, the collecting and upgrading doesn't look like it's worth it... It's just too mediocre, not bad in a funny way and not interesting, it's just... there? -
I just beat "Attack of the Friday Monsters" and it was one of the most adorably whimsy game I've played in a while. I simply thought it was a weird card game, but I'm glad it was so much more!

The "what the crap was that game called again?" thread

The only non-ZZT or RPG ASCII games I've found are Snipes and Beast, but they don't sound that much like your game. -

It wasn't a ZZT styled game, right? -
I beat WadjetEye's Golden Wake, at first I was worried when I was playing a game about a real estate agent in Florida in the 1920's, but the little I knew of American history, made me realize what I would really be in for. While the game is linear and not very challenging puzzle-wise, I really enjoyed the story and the setting of Coral Gables, Being a sales man, there are a lot of persuasion puzzles, which aren't that new, but still interesting enough. I do believe this is the first of GrundislavGames to be on sale and not free and it's a pretty good start, if I may say so.

Is anybody else getting these "Ambassador" New 3DS emails? I don't think a Smash Bros faceplate and getting it sooner than the rest is really worth 199€.

Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

I haven't played Rogue Legacy in ages, but I really got into it, it's not really grinding, with each successful run, you get money, true, but also the skill needed to survive in the castle. Enemies I used to fear are a cakewalk now, not because I leveled up, but because I've fought them many times before. Anyway, I quit nearly ALL the games I didn't own already from the Eye Candy Humble Bunlde 2: Eidolon: A survival game, I guess I spent ages walking through a forest picking mushrooms and tinder, I got so bored I decided to just climb a mountain and jump, but then I saw a watch tower, which was empty and from which I couldn't see anything interesting.... I jumped and... didn't die? At night a wolf attacked me (A wolf I never saw) and I was even more lost and gave up. Blue Flamingo: A very so-so shooter, it's style it's eye catching, but it's not even the prettiest shootem up out there. Lovely Planet: I haven't actually quit this one, but it seems likely. It's ridiculously low poly and I don't see why this was even in the list? I told myself if the game didn't get better after level 20, I'd quit and I reached a "new" world, which looks the same? I might play a little more, but I don't see the point. I really hope FRACT OST is actually worth it, because if not, I wasted my money on this Humble Bundle. -
Oh! I remember this game, the puzzles seemed to get repetitive and unnecessary to me, it was basically the same puzzle with an extra step... Do the puzzles get more interesting after the foggy plains? I really want to give this game another chance. :\

My last game of 2014 was.... Monster High: 13 Wishes.... But my first game of 2015 was Rayman Legends, it was amazing! And to think I almost did buy and only got to one final Wii Premium credit code. I'm pretty sure other have talked to death of this game, but what I love about this one is that at the end of the level, your reward is the most amazing kind of musical level ever, it's almost like a rhythm game since the tune is kinda ruined if you miss a lum or two. And instead or rewards you with some super challenging levels, you get a special world with nothing buy 8-bit versions of the previous musical levels! ....except with no checkpoints... This might overtake Super Mario 3D World as my favorite platform game of 2014, either way, it's pretty close.

I'm pretty sure this is the year Persona 5 and some other good JRPGs come out this year, so yeah, joke all you want... It kinda is, in a swam song of a way?

I can vouch for how good MURI is. I beat Monster High: Skultimate Roller Race, the only roller derby game I know of and... it was rather fun! Obviously it has Mario Kart power up and it's no Mario Kart 8, but for game created to see monster fashion dolls in derby outfits... it was better than it should have been. Gods Will Be Watching is a "tough decision maker", except it's not like a Telltale one in the sense you can actually make the right choices and have everybody survive with the resource management, which is what most of the game is about. Do I give this guy water of do I let him die? Do I let them rest or make them work to keep us alive? My biggest issue with the game is that it presents one side as slavers, but never show it, while the other side does show it's uglier side. AR-K is adventure game I got in a Steam auction about a girl on a space station trying to become a reporter, except she got blind drunk and sleep with a stranger and didn't make in time for an assignment. It's the typical "make everybody miserable because I need something you have" adventure, she's almost as bad as Rufus, but she's not delusional, she's just an awful person. Many puzzles don't really make sense and I wonder if they were like this on purpose, because the game is episodic and an episode feels shorter than a Telltale one. It's just a so-so adventure with a loathsome main protagonist.

Has anybody played the WiiU version of AssFlag 4? I kinda don't like playing Ubi games on PC and this seems like the next better option? By the way, is anybody else with a "Premium" WiiU trying to get a final discount coupon?

The Amazon Android App has an XMas special with many free games, the offer ends today, but I managed to get Five Nights at Freddie's. Sonic 2, Age of Zombies and more!

I just beat Among the Sleep, only a few hours after buying it on the Steam Sale. It never really gave the sensation of playing as an infant, only as a very small person. It was neat to see writing as a garbled since the baby can't read, but... Why can he read blocks and numbers? He's(was the baby's gender ever mentioned?) just too too young to do half the stuff he does, heck, my five year old nephew wouldn't understand the puzzles we solved in three seconds.

Deponia is their main humor adventure game, so maybe you won't enjoy their humor, but the Chains of Satinav Rodi mentioned is from them too and I can vouch for it. Their quality is usually good, so far only one of their games is just simply "so-so", A New Beginning, and even though I despise the main character of The Whispered World, it's pretty good despite the main character.

I just beat Disney Universe, which I won in a Steam auction. It's a ridiculously poor LEGO styled game, where you'll eventually give up on pick up because money picks ups are too generous and the other power ups are kinda annoying. The "good" power ups are only good in battle, only you almost never get them in battle and out of battle they are hindrance because they make you drop the item you're carrying. The game has an item to level up your weapon, so once you max it out the battle are even easier. The game is so meager, only 6 worlds with three tiny levels in each world, at least the worlds have minor changes in objectives, but still, this game was pretty mediocre, probably the most mediocre game from Disney I've played this year and I've played the WHOLE Disney Princess and Fairies pack.

Comixology is having a manga sale! I don't know how long it will last, but I'm so getting all of Dr. Slump! ALL OF IT! EDIT: Before Comixology didn't allow EU costumers to buy US comics, but I could with proxy programs, but now.... They won't accept money from a non-US country. Well, there goes my chance to get Dr. Slump.

Huh? TB is part of GG? I don't really pay attention to him.

Speaking of Spiderweb games, this week's Weekly Humble Bundle is about RPGs. From the bundle I only know Consortium, which was dreadfully boring Mass Effect like game and Avadon 2.
