The battery lasts half as much as a GBA SP, so the batteries are as long lasting as the Game Gear's, it looks uncomfortable too.... But it's much cheaper than I excpected....

Zombie Party is how they'll call Shaun of the Dead here.... It's utterly ridicoulous! It's still in English, so they can't use the "people won't know what the title means", but... A zombie is called zombie anywhere , althogh some of us here call them zombis without the "e", and "party" is a word almost everybody... But I still think it's a stupid title, specially when there are no parties in the movie....

I only played the 3 Stooges game, it was the great grandfather of Mario Party... I love it when companies release their old stuff free, although I still prefer the "real deal"... Since this game was never released in my country, I think I'll try it out!

I have the Real Arcade version, which is just as good as the real thing and it let's you save the game... I never played TJ&E 2 but I liked the TJ&E 3, but I agree that adding a girl just to have one was lame...

Am I mad or a genius? Maybe both... Look at what I made! It has croutons for pellets, salami Binky, ham Pinky and cheddar Sue... No, there is no Inky, would you eat something blue? If you look close you can see Ms. Pac-Man has her ribbon (salami), it also has most of the edible items from the game, like apple, pear, orange and pretzel! And it was good! (Good enough, that is...) I also have ideas for other retro game recipes... like a Burger Time burger (DUH!) and others... Who knows, I might make a retro game recipe book one of these days...

Sorry, I don't drink, so I wouldn't even know how to make it... But I could devise some sort of ice cream float.... But that's barely a recipe... Cola/Root beer + Ice Cream....

Changing my avatar once a month annoys you? Remind me to change it daily! (Ok, I changed it twice this month, but I did it to have a more Halloweeny avatar....) If I even manage to make a decent animated avatar (Does the Gimp do animated GIFs?), I might not change it so often or not at all!

After several months of losing bids and futile searchs, I finally got one of the rarest/hardest to find games out there... Id Anthology.... The price I had to pay was painfull though... I don't even want to remember how much I payed and I hope I never have to spend that much on a game again (I do remember paying such an abusively high price for a SNES import Dragon Ball game as a kid) But in the process I discovered why some rare games are so expensive... There are such things as Video game brokers... They tend to hog rare games and charge you a large sum for them (or wait till it's more expensive to sell it), as matter of fact, they are usually the ones that overbid you when bidding on a certain game.... I had been searching for this game for a long time now and the auctions usually ended with 150-200$ bids.... (Less if items are missing or it isn't mint) I had no option but to give in, the "broker" was nice enough, he offered me lots of Doom figurine and othe items as well, and when the shipping was higher than he expected, he didn't charge me extra.... I'm having mixed feelings about game brokers, they are a good source for rare games, but they tend to charge you a lot.... Anybody else here who has dealt with a game broker? What do you think about them?

Sweet Mother of Mothra! I'd only pay HALF as much for an arcade machine! I guess 200$ is the maximum I'd pay for a CE or collection... Good grief, 3.600$ is way too high, but it only proves that this game is as rare and expensive as "Action Comics Nº1"...

40$-50$ sounds fair for just the book and games... The T-shirt is black has a logo in the front and "Id Anthology" written on the back, or maybe the other way around? As for Mt Drash, according to this site this game was probably never on sale, and it seems nobody has a copy of it.... The thing is that it appears game brokers seem to bid on the same item over and over again on Ebay... And either you lose the auction or overbid them, paying a fortune for the game, that is... I'm pretty sure half the bidders on the auction Jaap mentioned are brokers and that a broker will win the auction...

Oh Sweet Monkey Jesus! Holy ! I knew Bush was bad, but this.... At first, I was "Ha, ha, Bush sucks", but know that I actually know what's he's done I'm "OMG! Bush = :barf:" Seriously guys, I just can't believe he has 50% of the votes now! Everbody I know is anti-Bush! Is this rigged or what? Aznar was bad, VERY bad, and I'd hate to admit the bombing probably did make him lose, but geez! Bush is the worst President ever! Seriously, if Bush wins the elections.... MOVE TO ANOTHER COUNTRY! Even if HALF of what the "edutainment" game is lies, he's still the most corrupt, evil president ever... He almost started bloody WWxxx (Yes, I know what I'm saying, just becuase we don't call it a World War now, doesn't mean History won't) "Politicians are like babies; they both should be changed regularly... and for the same reason!" I never vote because you usually have to choose between a kick in the face and a kick in the groin... But if I lived in the US I'd vote for Kerry, even if he ate babies for breakfast... Of course since I don't even live in the US I don't even know half the facts...

You know I'm begging to have second thoughts on buying HL Gold through Valve... I think I'll just get the VU version when it comes out in my country... 40$ for shipping is a lot...

I've just tried it out and... I'm just not used to these "fly around in a ship and shoot stuff" games... I only have one game of this type, Tychon the Fringe, which I only bought because it has Bruce Campbell's voice for the hero... I like the style though... I might play a bit more to see if I can actually complete the demo...

Ha ha! They have pretty crazy stuff, I remember seeing that they had acres of the Moon and Venus for sale!

I think games are consifered a luxury item in Spain... But I agree games ARE too expensive, I only spend over 60€ on Collector's Editions (yes, I'm getting HL2 Gold... ).... But it's also true that some companies are getting the idea that some games shouldn't cost as much as the others, an expensive mediocre game is painfully horrible, but if it costs 20€ it's almost good... I also have the feeling that having more titles to choose from also affects how you "see" the price label.... If a store has 20 new games they'll look more expensive than if the store has two new games.... Or maybe it's just me.... Anyway, I say: Why bother buying a game when it comes out when it will cost less in a few months? I remember paying full price for XIII when it came out, one week later it's price was slashed by half... Of course Collector's Editions cost more and more over the time... I remember when games cost 5$... Now they cost 50$....

I don't know about you guys, but the "light to dark" change is troubling me for some reason, I'm not saying the demo is bad or anything, but it's just... I have the impression that Ubisoft has "sold" themself, jumped the shark, etc, etc... Let's hope I'm wrong becuase if not... In BG&E 2 Jade will wear a bikini use lots of deadly weapons with lots of exoplosions, death, blood and gore... Like most of the "poplar" games out there... In other words it looks like a dark and gloomy game for angst teens who like to kill stuff... I really, really, hope I'm wrong...
