It's seems Comic Alert is the latest thing and everbody with a comic is adding themselves to it... Wether the comic sucks big time or if it's never updated and in somecases it hasn't even started... They just add it anyway, but they seemed to be overwhelmed with all these requests... Frankly I'm quite surprised Capitan August is still pending while others who haven't even started and have a "project pending" are already there.... Hmm, Rodi, you do use the same format and size in each strip? That does make things easier, AFAIK...

I never heard of this one before, I googled a little and... It's the first kiddie only console, that I'll give you, but some of their games weren't educational... Sonic's Playground was a bunch or mini-games... What's educational about racing Robotnik? Or Basketball? And a Crayon drawing game? Not educational, but it's for kids and helps them be more creative... But now I wonder if the V.Smile will flop like the Sega Pico, or will it eventually start making non-educational games...

Well, it uses a joystick and not a mouse for starters...

A Spanish PC gaming magazine is looking for review contributors, and I think it's worth a shot (it has to better than being a butcher working without a contract for less money than a burger flipper makes).... I have to send a couple of reviews with a resume... I know we have lots of game reviewers here (DUH!), so I was wondering if I could get some tips, do's and don'ts and all that rot... The reviews have to be of recent games, damn, I don't have that many... Recent, that is, just Nitro Family, LSL:MCL, Silent Hill 4, Doom 3, Neighbours from Hell 2....

..... I finished the reviews... And I showed them to my sister... She says I shuould cut down on the "..."... .... I don't overuse the "...", do I? Hmm.... .... Nah... ... (Me)

I don't think we even have any gaming expos in Spain..... There are some kiddie expos where can meet the Power Ranger and play Pokémon, and there are techonology and computer expos with a small section dedicated to games.... Also some comic convenstion have mini game expos.... But we have NEVER ever had an expo on gaming only....

I'd give myself a damn job, I can't even get a job at Mc Donalds, that's how bad things are here... Or I'd just give myself a truckload of money.... I do remember that the local (and currently closed) game store offered me a job, exactly at the same time I was about to start another one, one that was horrible, in more ways than one, and I never got made part of the permanent staff (Thanks God! We all hated it there), they didn't renew my contract when it ended, I feel like kicking myself every time I remember I refused my dream job just because I was afraid of the consequences... Now I don't care even if they sued me for leaving them before even starting to work...

I'd use it if the Ebay toolbar was compatible with it, I need it... There are just too many faux Ebay and Paypal pages out there and the Ebay toolbar is the only thing that can tell me if I'm at the real site...

The only children's books I might pick up in the future are Alice in Wonderland and Thorugh the Looking Glass, with victorian ilustrations.... I never buy them in Spanish, but since they were never released in Spain, I never heard of them in the first place.. BTW, I've had all of Douglas Admas books (and read them) for a long time... PS: Even my father knew about this movie before me!

I'm already making a small review (they did say brief article) of a new game that hasn't been reviwed by them yet... But I can't find any other new games they haven't reviewed... They didn't say anything about reviewing a game they've already talked about... Which reminds me, should I include screenshots?

Actually.... No.... That book was probably never sold or just impopular in Spain... I've never seen a copy of Charlotte's Web or the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Although I heard the first book was released) in Spanish either... Spain is a bit "illeterate" the only stuff we read are sports newspapers and gossip magazines.... The papers keep saying Spain doesn't read enough, but since we don't read them, we don't know that....

Now everything makes sense.... I thought my 3rd personality was , oh wait, that's only on alternate Tuesadays....

I wonder if I should go to the store and get Midway's Arcade Tresures for PC, nobody has reviewed it yet.... It's only 15-20€... It also has the advantage of not having to play it that much to review it... I already know the games... Edit: I've looked in the last issues of the magazine and it appears they haven't made a review of Nitro Family yet! I'm definetely making a review of this one! (Is four months old still recent?)

Sorry, it has to be in Spanish... I might translate it to English... If I actually choose to make a review of it... Which reminds me, do you actually have to beat the game to make a review? If not how much do have to play? I only played SH4 it for 20 minutes...

He're the the deal, my sister is getting married next week and tomorrow is the bachelor party... The thing is, us guys will stay up all night, and I have to wake up at 5:30 AM to go to work..... So I'll already be tired... I do have all afternoon to sleep, but I have trouble sleeping during the day... It's kinda embarrsing to be a spaniard that can't "siesta", I really need tips on what to do when you want to sleep... Problems: -I'm nervous, I wake up easily and take a lot of time to get back to sleep... -I have an EVIL cat that will probably try to use my head as a pillow while I nap... -Don't say "Try these sleeping pills" or similar, I usually get all the secondary effects...

In the end I couldn't really use the advice... My cousin said he'd come with me in the last moment, saying that he'd stop by to drop some stuff he'd need to sleepover.... So I couldn't nap til he arrived, which he didn't, he called two hours later saying he went directy to the "pre-party", which I didn't go to since I was informed at the last minute of it's existence, that and the fact that I needed to nap.... The just went to a pub to drink.... I finally sleeped for less than an hour... using my arm as a "sleep mask"... Bad idea, the pressure did something to my eyes and when I opened them I saw everything blurry even with my glasses, I panicked and couldn't sleep no more... I didn't need to sleep after all, all I needed the magical and mystical powers of 4 Coca-Colas to keep me up all night! It's was at a pirate themed pub (Can you say "ARRRR, me booty"?), where the dinner was barekt passable, working at a bucther's shop I know when the meat the give isn't all that good... That and the fact that working in a butcher's shop all day has made me not like red meat anyway.... Of course there was a stripper, to keep this PG and all, I'll just say that I had "a front row seat" and I had to hold her lightsaber, some Star Wars themed thingie, we even heard the Imperial March in the background... It all went downhill from here.... Since I don't drink or smoke or any of that "cool" stuff... All I could so was drink Coke till my tummy hurt... I did meet intersting people, I met a former KKK member from Virginia, who of course voted for Bush... (Damn, I forgot to ask him if he belonged to the NRA!) Being most of them geeks and fanboys we did have stuff to talk about, if it weren't for the fact that the music was so loud I could barely hear them... I don't know why you "whippersnappers" enjoy this clubbing and stuff, spending all the night drink yourseld silly while getting internal ear bleeding from the music is not my idea of fun.... In the end it wasn't tiredness what made me leave (at 6:30 AM), I just felt incredibly sick..... Either it was the food or the smoke, or the vibrations the music caused to my internal organs, or all of it combined.... It's kinda funny to think I was the illest there, and all the only one who didn't smoke or drink... But not to me... I had to go home, with my cousin, who by the way is the most annoying person in the world when sloshed, plastered and drunk.... He "knew" the way to the nearest subway stop.... Yeah, right! His drunken wandering had us walking for over 30 minutes when the stop was 10 minutes away, we ended up in ANOTHER subway stop.... I finally made it home and got about 5 hours of sleep when I got a call from... MY COUSIN! He, of all person should know better than anyone else what I've been through and that I needed to sleep!!! So here I am, my throat is sore from shouting and smoke, my ears feel funny, my body aches, and I'm in a very bad mood, even though I saw nakedness.... Meh! Hopefully my grumpiness will fade away before the wedding... PS: Too tired, grumpy, moody, etc.... to care to spell check, sorry...

The cat does seem to have a narcotic/hypnotic effect on me... Except when I have to sleep...

Everybody I know is complaining.... BUT... I heard Bush doesn't like him, and he doesn't like Bush, so he can't be all that bad! And he wanted Kerry to win...

He also helped Zapatero win the election here... We were all pissed at Aznar for making us go to a war that we didn't want to go too, but when they bombed us RIGHT before the elections, we all voted for the other party... And now everybody regrets it...
