I was one of the lucky ones who got one of VIP packs and got almost a month before the rest.... Of course, after beating Super Mario 64 DS, I have to wait to the official lauch to buy more games... But, like Sim Tunes, I wouldn't call this a game exactly, but since all the infoI have about this game is in japanese, I'm not sure... Tochable Media Art... I like the sound of that!

Hey! He is the guy behind Sim Tunes! The most obscure and forgotten member of the Sims family! And apparently he seems to be recycling some ideas from that game? In Sim Tunes you drew a picture and some musical bugs ran over the dots and made a tune, I wonder if each placton will be a different instrument too? (Re-reads the news clip) Yep, it reminds me of Sim Tunes alright, excpet this time we have video too... Anyway, I liked Sim Tunes, so I'm keeping my eye on this one...

I could never play Warcraft PVP, the simple thought of never being safe and I could be attacked even in towns isn't what I can fun... I hate it when someone 10 levels lower than me keeps insisting that I join him in a quest I've done long ago, and insults me and gets mad if don't, it's happened twice now... I also hate it when in an isntance the team quits after an hour or 30 minutes, don't they know that instances take almost 2 hours to beat, and sometimes more? I hate RP elitists in the RP server, they insist that the general channel is RPing, nobody roleplays there! We ask for help and the closest you get to role playing is "The Alliance stinks/ are tasty morsels" or "Night elf babes are hot!"...

We had a gaming mag called Game Live in Spain, but it closed and reopened recently under the name of PC Life, it's on of the few gaming magazine I actually trust... Since most PC mags come with free games in a DVD case and everything, those 4-5€ seem well spent... I remember one came with the Leisure Suit Larry Collection!

Micro Manía, the oldest gaming mag in Spain is 20 years old now! To celebrate the magazine comes with a reprinted old issue, but it's not the first but the first issue of the "2nd era" in which they started reviewing PC games, before that they only worked with specy games... Sigh, the trip down memory lane was great, having the huge-ass magazine in my hands again, even the pages fall out just as easily as they did back then... It was a time when Spain made it's own games, when games cost 5€, and gameplay was more important than graphics.... (PS: Foobar is mocking me! It's playing "Older" now! Whippersnappers! )

They released a Commander Keen for the Game Boy Color, but it was mediocre... Both Id and 3D Realms have the Commader Keen games for sale and you can get Keep Dreams from Softkey, the only one hard to find is Aliens Ate my Babysitter...

Free, yes, but legal? No way! Softdisk still sells most of Id's old games so those aren't legal abandonware links!

Most of those are still for sale, very few companies release their old games for free, unless they are making a sequel and hope to attract more costumers, like that Tribes game... Isn't Rockstar the only company that releases it's old but not prehistoric games for free? The other companies either put them on sale in packs or budget priced... The there the companies that release for free 15 year old games or more, like Infrogames releasing their old C-64 games for free... It's more likely that companies release their old games are payed downloads than giving them away for free...

I'm trying to collect "shareware" games (not the demos), and I already have nearly all the ID Software, games, nearly all the Apogee games and some Epic Megagames ones, but I know how to get the rest... I just want to know of any other companies that had noteworthy games, like Dr. Riptide or Skunny... Funny thing shareware, it's hard to believe we payed for a shareware demo back then, you'd think it's not legal now, but it is if you state that clearly, it's ok... Some sold the shareware demo, some gave it away with magazines, some come in packs in CDs and some (like Epic Megagames) sold the "episodes" seperatly...

How exactly do you Role Play?

I just reached level 10 and got my Voidwalker, so I think I can call it a day.... Should I even bother to try to form a guild? Everbody declines and says that they want to form thier own! In which servers are you guys? I think mine is called Northdell or something...

I got mine too! I'm downloading the final patch... I thought my account would be deleted, but it's not? I guess I just need the CD-Key then? I'm copying the music tracks to my HDD, while downloading the final patch... I already read the manual and saw the art book, so I'm off to game all day any second now...

It's not that you can't change the skin tones, it's that in gameply you can't really tell the difference between the undead skin tones...

Half the zombies are spiked haired and look nearly the same.... You can barely notice the skin tone changes or the facial ones, unless you remove your characters jaw.... Sweet! But only hunters can name them?
