Maybe a 14 will want a 360, but he'll only be able to afford a Wii... Isn't the Wii the average Joe's console?

I'm guessing it won't be only Mario & Sonic there, right? It does say "Super Mario characters ©" and "Sonic the Hedgehog character ©" at the site... Hmm, I haven't bought a olympic game since the days of the old NES Track & Field games but playing it with the Wiimote and DS seems so perfect! With a little luck, it will have Wario in it, and with a lot of luck it will have character from other Sega and Nintendo games!

Backwards compatibility is an issue, you may be able to afford a PS3 and a PS2, but you not everybody has room for every single console ever made... I still have my old PSOne since some of my games don't work on PS2, which sucks big time...

The only way for us to get Saturn games on the the Wii is if it gets an external hard drive...

So.... is anybody going to the Uk Web & Mini Comix Thing 2007? I'm pretty hyped up over all the people going there! More and more people are going, and it's seems I'm interested in meeting! So... Is anybody else going? It's on a Saturday but I'll probably arrive on Friday because all the other flights are too inconvinient... And I'll probably visit the Forbidden Planet comic store while I'm there... Does anybody know any good hotels in the area, or at least which hotels to avoid? Anything?

I found this link to a part of the GDC conference... So, you're not hardcore if you don't like games that are frustrating and are extra long? If this is true, I consider myself indie retro gamer, because there is no way I'm casual... To me it sounds like hardcore gamers are teenage gamers who don't have a job, because how many adults can afford to play all those 500 hour RPGS that need a 20$ strategy guide to beat them? You know, I could sweat games were supposed to be fun, but if the GDC say they have to frustrating, they must now better than the games, right?

The worst part is that this is a game developers conference! People are going to think that games are SUPPOSED TO BE FRUSTRATING!

How are the controls for Excite Truck? I hate GT Pro Series for the Wii so much I'll probably sell it for the horrid controls!

If it weren't for the fact that I own most of the Xbox arcade games in an older format, I'd consider buying one... But buying a modern console for retro gaming is like buying a 2000€ PC to play Zork, it doesn't fell right... Th aracde games on the 360 sound nice, but the other games on the 360 don't interest me much...
