  1. I have HOW many unbeaten games? *foams at mouth*

You can rate your own games, I have no idea if you can rate other people's list, but I think you can comment?
  2. I have HOW many unbeaten games? *foams at mouth*

The Keen games are in the "I can't remember if I beat them" category... When I buy a new game I either quit the one I'm playing, or wait until I beat the one I'm playing at the moment, either way I get a backlog... And I did have a bit of a mad collector mood for a while...
  3. I have HOW many unbeaten games? *foams at mouth*

Maybe I shouldn't have used Backloggery... You can click on the "U" to see the full list... I HAVE OVER FOUR HUNDRED UNBEATEN GAMES! Ok... THIS MEANS WAR! And that I mean I will use ANY MEANS possible to beat them... Without actually ruining the game... Even if I beat a game a week it's going to take nearly EIGHT years to beat them all! Here's how you can help... Tell me if any of the games actually END, I might have added a game that's a never ending scorefest... Do pinball games end? If you see any games you know that are short, tell me so I can tackle them first... I'm probably going to play that bunch of old text games first... with a walkthrough... Those games are evil and if you try to have fun you get eaten by grues and have to restart... Many of them are kind duplicates... I have Sonic CD on Sega CD, PC and in the Sonic Gems Collection for example. Many of them are games I'm not sure I've beaten.... I might get lucky and see a clear save near when I play them... Many of them are old PC games, maybe I'll get "lucky" and they'll refuse to run on Vista... One thing is for sure.... I'm not buying any full priced games anytime soon! Maybe a Steam sale game and other cheaper games, but I'm buying a new game unless I get my list down to 350-300 unbeaten games... I don't know if I have a bit of OCD or what, but I'm going to be freaking out a bit until the list goes down a little...
  4. I have HOW many unbeaten games? *foams at mouth*

Ooh! This could be useful, but... I don't get the mastered games part... isn't that a bit subjective? How do you master Super Mario Bros.? By beating it without the Warp Zones? It's easy with more modern games, but not with the older ones...
  5. I have HOW many unbeaten games? *foams at mouth*

The issue I have is graphical, the colors look garbled as if they were inverted or something...
  6. I have HOW many unbeaten games? *foams at mouth*

How new is this version of DOSBox? I think I downloaded it this year?
  7. I have HOW many unbeaten games? *foams at mouth*

Well, I guess that mean I can take Fallout 1 & 2 off my list, since I used DOSBox to run those and they still had problems!
  8. I have HOW many unbeaten games? *foams at mouth*

Actually, I have a bunch of terrible budget games in my closet that I coudln't sell... I don't even want to look at them... Some might actually be playable, but I already have too much on my plate already.... Have you ever played a GOG game? Do they REALLY make the old games work on modern PCs? I have all the Fallout games and they don't work on my PC... I'm almost tempted to buy the GOG if it weren't for the fact I fear they just use DOSBox.... Come to think of it, when was the last time you saw a bundle of games? I don't mean something like Prince of Persia 1 & 2, I mean like the ones you mentioned before? I think they might have become extinct?
  9. I have HOW many unbeaten games? *foams at mouth*

If they are terrible why do you still have them? I have many in the "should I bother?" section... Like.... If I beat Diablo II should I bother with Diablo I?
  10. Sprites?

I recently got in a discussion with someone about pixel art and sprites... He said he studied Game Design and that sprite is simply resuable art, ANY form of reusable art! I say sprites are pixel art used in video games, only when used in video games or when ripped from one... Does what he say make any sense?
  11. Sprites?

What the.... That article classifies Diesel Sweeties as a sprite comic? ..... The article doesn't make sense! An original sprite comic is a pixel comic... And according to Wikipedia this article is contradicting itself... The guy told me that Kris Staub of Starslip Crisis called his own strip a sprite comic because he recycled art...
  12. Sprites?

I don't think he was thinking of this when he mentioned sprites? What this guy was saying that ANY FORM of reusable art is called a sprite and that any comic that reused art was a sprite comic.
  13. Sprites?

But it's a Video game only term, right? According to him a clipart comic is sprites...
  14. I've got a lot on my plate now, but 5$ does seems like a sweet deal! Even though I probably won't play it for quite a while... Dang, Steam keeps making these crazy deals! Do they only do it on weekends, or do we have to check daily to make sure we don't miss anything?
  15. Lost Planet is 5$ on Steam. Is it worth it?

I tried the 360 one and it was.. "meh"... It didn't impress me or annoy me...
  16. Dave Gilbert's new game...

The story just kept going, I expected the game to be only a few hours long, but it's longer than some "full" adventure games! I love it! A few things did bother me... -Emotionless faces when talking...
  17. With Resident Evil 5 coming pretty soon, I thought it would the perfect time to beat the RE games I never beat... I've only beaten the first game and RE 4 (twice), so I have quite a few to beat... For some strange reason I sold RE: Code Veronica so I could get RE: Code Veronica X.... But I somehow never got it... But I found a copy cheap online, so... YAY! Should I bother with RE Gaiden for the Game Boy Color? I don't think I'll be able to play the gun ones on a modern monitor (I know the older guns don't work), so those are out of the question, but I vaguely remember one about a group of normal people, as in not S.T.A.R.S. members, but I don't remember the name... Outbreak? Does anybody recommend it? Also, in which order should I play them? I assume RE 0 is the first?
  18. LEGO Whatever

I really enjoy all the Lego games, but I simply love any game where you smash things and get lots of shiny things to pick up...
  19. The MAW

I loved it! It's like a combination of a Boy and his Blob, Shark Shark! And Katamari Damacy! Eating everything in sight is fun and the "puzzle" parts are fun too! It's kinda short, but that's expected from and XBLA game...
  20. When you started talked about Pokémon I started to hum the exact song you play in the break! I'm NEVER playing an MMO game again, the simple thought of of paying for a game that never ends seems madness to me, not to mentioned I was seriously addicted to WOW when I did play.... It was not a pretty picture....
  21. A Prince of Persia?

I got the game yesterday for my birthday and beat it today... The combat was easy yet annoying, as you progress ALL enemies learn new tricks, the "you can only grab me now" mode is infuriating, but it actually gets easier later because they'll just get out of that mode to spit at the screen... I killed most of them by tossing them off a cliff... It did feel like something was missing... maybe it was because all the areas looked the same to me, or maybe because you barely fight in the game... I didn't mind collecting the light seeds, but I stopped once I had enough to beat the game. About the ending...
  22. Order of Ecclesia

I just remember the thing that bothered me the most about the game... The Glyph fusion system. It uses hearts, the only thing you CAN'T recover in mid battle, at least not much. Have you noticed that you have several items for recovering lots of magic, something you'll never need to do, but only the heart refresh and some items that only give you a few measly hearts? Are you talking about the Death Rings? I had to hit Dracula with the Light and Dark Glyph equiped with the Death ring to kill him...
  23. Order of Ecclesia

I know what you mean about the grinding... I had to grind for hours to get the ingredients for the villagers, specially for the Merman Meat and Mandragora. I felt the bosses were too cheap, so taking half of your health bar with one hit! And that giant crab battle was way too annoying... What I liked about the old Castlevania: SOTN is that if you explored enough you could get items and weapons that made the game easier, I didn't find any super spell or armor in this game. I did like the online shop part, if you were lucky you could buy hard to get items. I do believe the game was a bit overhyped for me since they told me it was the best Castlevania since SOTN.
  24. PSN games I should try?

I'm so used to XBLA having demos that know I see only a few with demos on PSN I don't know what to get... What do you recommend? The only thing I want to get for sure is Pixel Stardust HD...
  25. Bootleg copies on eBay

I remember the only time I bought a bootleg game... it was a video rental store... The GBA game greeted me with one of those "This rom was burned by..." I went to the store and demanded a refund... they refused to give it back because I couldn't prove it was bootleg even though I showed them that screen... So I told them it was faulty... You should report the guy, or at least talk to him first to see if he's reasonable...
