That probably explains why only Americans complains about it... Oddly enough, Prince of Persia HD collection is only coming out as a physical game in Europe and PSN to the rest of the world... But we never got the Data East Collection for the Wii or any of the Mega Man Collections that came out last generation... :| And then there is a bunch of Shmup collections that came out in Japan only, like Parodius Collection, Lifeforce, Twin Bee and Star Soldier.

Yes, but that is Super Mario All Stars PLUS Super Mario World, like you said, it's a bundle, they are two separate games, what I meant is that Super Mario World isn't part of Super Mario All Stars.

Don't games have epilepsy warnings? Or are they not enough sometimes? Have you tried sticking to adventure games for a while? Explosions and flashy colors are almost non-existent!

I know I should have posted this on the first day of December, but I thought everybody knew about this... Mission in Snowdriftland is an indie game... about indie games? I know the little snowman is from another game, but I can't remember the name! But the bad game of his game has stolen a bunch of indie games which the snowman must rescue! Since it's an advent calender each day a new stage unlocks, and when you beat a level, you get goodies from the game you "rescued"... OK, it's usually silly wallpapers and icons, but sometimes you get soundtracks and they claim that if you collect ALL the snow flakes in all levels you'll get a SUPER goodie.... I'm addicted to collecting shinies, so I don't mind...

Ok.. this is just ridiculous... I've been catching up on my adventure games recently and while most of them are subtle.. they seem to make WAY too many Monkey Island references... Sometimes it's a Manic Mansion / Day of the Tentacle reference, but there seems to ALWAYS be one, if not many... A Vampyre's Tale can't shut up just to remind you that it's made by former Lucasarts employees, Ceville had a Monkey Island reference or two, Jack Keane, well.. it's like it's trying to be Monkey Island, but it doesn't actually reference it, Jolly Rover is another Monkey Island wannabe, but this does have Monkey Island references... And now I'm playing So Blonde... After a few minutes I see a seagull on a dock and they kind of parody the seagull bit in the SCUMM Bar, it might be a coincidence, but I don't think so.. specially since a few minutes later I get captured by pirates and I'm force to... a JOKE duel! Gasp! Surely this has nothing to do with insult dueling? Right? This is just silly! Imagine if every platform game had a Super Mario Bros. reference? Imagine they always had to say "It's a me!" or have a mushroom or Goomba in every game... Imagine if every FPS had to have a Cacodemon or a Headcrab? Or a Cacodemon with a Headcrab? We all love Monkey Island, but do you have to keep reminding us that you do too? I'm waiting for Ghost Pirates or VooJu Island to drop price, but with a title like that and being from the same people who made A Vampyre's Tale... Let's just say that if I took a shot every time they'll make a Lucasarts reference I'll be dead withing 30 minutes.... I use to find them funny, but now I feel like they're shoving them down my throat... Anyway, I can't wait to play more of So Bland... I can't wait till she gets the rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle!

I still can't get over the fact that they made an adventure game starring a "dumb blonde", in some shooters you can actually be a pacifist and in some platform games your character can't really jump, but you can't take the thinking out of an adventure game! And this game somehow got a sequel?

I'm in the "I already own most of them" camp.... I don't know about the other games though... :| It seems to be the charity bundle season since there is now the Bundle or Wrong... Snooglebum should stay far away from this, since ALL the games are flashy explosive colors games! Although in this case the author needs money for his hospital bills....

I just beat the "Grubbins on Ice" DLC, it's not Xmas related, like I thought, it's just winter related and it's short but sweet, I'm pretty sure I beat it less then 2 hours? It has a secret area with Stacking characters in it! When was this released? Before or after the announcement of Stacking? Imagine how awesome it would have been to discover their new game through a secret area! XD

I'm pretty sure The Longest Journey touted it's references to other adventure games on it's backcover....

It's pretty mediocre, the graphics are subpar, (no face animations!), the humor is hit or miss, sometimes more miss than hit... And since it was also being made for the Wii it has a ton of minigames... some of them are a bit annoying. The story was OK, but the weirdest part is the the main character is a... dumb blonde! She's supposed to be dumb, but at the same time she's solving riddles and complex puzzles? They even ask a bunch of complex questions to which she knows the answer to! And yet the whole premise of the game is that she's a dumb blonde... I can believe your character can develop can "wisen up", but gaining knowledge is just ludicrous! The extra endings you get if you collect some certain items are nice, but I payed 19.99€ for this game, and I can't recommend it for this price, maybe for 10€, and for 5€ I'd try just about anything... It's not as bad as Deck 13 game, if that is any indication?

I have to play SOMETHING until the next Telltale game comes out! ;P And I made a typo, it's not "Ghost Pirate or Vooju Island", it's "Ghost Pirate OF Vooju Island", made by former Lucasarts members, with pirates AND voodoo... But at least Autumn Moon are funny people and they references will hopefully be more funny and witty than the So Blonde ones.... (Has anybody played So Blonde? Maybe I should make a post about it? It's so weird in concept when you think about it....)

If we can get back to main topic, for some strange reason, the first levels are ridiculously frustrating compared the second world, which is almost too easy... I'm really curious to find out what the grand prize will be if you collect all the flakes, they are already giving out soundtracks, so that can't be it, a free game might be too much, so maybe... discount codes?

Frankly, I don't think anybody is out to get... anymore, but let me recap the situation: -I was vulnerable, but sensible enough to ask for advice before making a bad decision, some were sincere, but some encouraged me to make this bad decision. -People laugh at the decision I made, I feel hurt and tricked. -People can't get over the fact that I get over the fact that I feel hurt and tricked. The main point being that I feel like I was.. well, tricked isn't accurate, but some people certainly wanted me to make this bad decision. If I had made this decision entirely by my own, I wouldn't be this peeved... :I

Maybe I'm wrong for interpreting the quoting of "That would be a douchy move" as saying "It WAS a douchy move"... I'm pretty sure that guide was being sarcastic, nobody here actually picks on newbs, insults each other, etc, etc... except for the sarcasm, which is usually not understood because sarcasm translates horribly on the web....

Frankly I never saw Toblix as a negative person either, maybe the others are just projecting? I don't think anybody is out to get me, but I do think this isn't "joshing", this is "button pushing".... There is difference between: "Oh, Tanu, you play such terrible games!" to "You were a total douche for doing that Mega Man thing! HA HA!" This has nothing to do with opinions, but when someone says "For the Love of God, stop doing that, it's really upsetting me, and I'm not kidding or trying to make some witty joke" you probably should stop... If you insist in bringing up the sprite thing can you at least skip the "douchebag" part?

What adventure games are doing is the equivalent of a Fox cartoon show doing this: Viewer: "Where is joke? Make with the funny?" Fox show: "Uhhh... Look! Chuck Norris is juggling chainsaws! You guys love Chuck Norris, right? Oh! And now he kicked Pikachu in the balls!" When a show or movie abuses pop culture jokes, people shun it unless the jokes are actually clever... they usually aren't... :| I got over it.... but bringing it back makes me think some haven't...

Maybe there were one or two people who actually wanted me to make Mega Man sprites, but everybody else... yeah... they pointed and laughed... If you're serious, I can do a request or two, but I don't think I'll resurrect the sprite thing anytime soon... :|

Well, it bombed horribly.... You should know it's hard to tell when some is joking or not on internet by now, a voice carries a tone and while you talk your gesticulations also tell more than your words, but on the internet, your words are just words... You can't tell if it's sarcasm or not! :|
