I think they are, Rincewind is probably the smartest "idiot" we've mentioned in this thread... He can speak several languages, knows how magic works, but he's just incapable of doing anything right and he even seems to know in a breaking the fourth wall way how the world works... He know he's walking into a trap, but he also knows he HAS to walk into it, because that's how the story goes?

I'm not trying to say there is a trend, I'm just wondering if there is more cases like this... With Mona from A Vampyre's Tale being an example of being a ditz done well I guess we can assume it's not going to be a trend since nobody can name more cases... Is it me or are Telltale and Autumn Moon the only ones keeping the comedic adventure game alive? I'm not sure Deck 13 will do another comedic adventure game, but they were never funny anyway and Pendulo Studio was never funny either...

What? The uniques are for raising you're game completion percentage, you don't need them to solve EVERY puzzle? I'm pretty sure I solved a few with normal dolls... The final level is a bit more complex though... only a bit... And the first one to beat it here?

Yeah, most adventure games are coming from Telltale, but there is the occasional European adventure and Pendulo Studios and Deck 13 still seem to be making adventure games... even though nobody cares about them anymore... Oh, let's not forget Autumn Moon! Come to think of it, Mona was a bit of ditz in A Vampyre Story... Even though she's smarter than the other examples, the game does portray her as ditzy diva... Damn, why did I have to remember her? But while she is an obvious ditz she still does fit into the gullible loser trope that is more traditional with comedic adventure games too... Maybe Autumn Moon press are just better at making ditzy heroes? They are ex-Lucasarts people after all.... But I guess it still counts as a another example in the end.

Those are geniuses compared to these guys, I believe the most appropriate term to call these "new" heroes is DERP! Guybrush, Rincewind and.. I dont' remember Simon that well, but at least they seemed to know what they were doing... If they used an item on something they knew what would happen, or at least they hoped they knew... I always considered more gullible and klutzy than stupid. These characters will actually say: "I have no idea why I'm combining "A" and "B", but oh, well! HERP A DERP!"

I was trying to find that image for ages! I knew it came from this site! Man, that sure brings memories... bad memories... of a time when people though moon logic puzzles made games better...

Everything gets bots... I'm sure even forums with 2 people in them gets bots...

I love this game, I just love picking up a stackling and messing around with it to see how the other stacklings react... and it that actually makes the game progress even better! It seems every level has unique stackingling to find, different ways to beat each challenge, "hi-jinks" and and a "family reunion" quest as in get every stackling of the same family in a row... I'm only having trouble with some of the hi-jinks, since you only get a vague hint at what to do... "Solicitors"? What the hell am I supposed to do? It also seems very balanced, not too much to do and not too little! You can't get 100% on the first level on your first try, you have to try later after you beat the second one!

The U.S. got it much earlier than Europe, my download is almost done... see you in... however long it takes to beat the game?

Everybody is a loser to someone else... I personally despise "alpha males" so much to the point of misandry... It's strange how watching 10 hours of TV a week is "normal", but spending 10 playing games makes you a loser... Uggg... On PSN? I just checked today and it wasn't there... And XBLA doesn't update until noon?

DAMN! I just realized that PSN updates MUCH later than XBLA... I bet you download and beat the XBLA version before the PSN one is even out! I'd be stupid to not wait though, since I am getting it for free on PSN+... And as much as I feel bad for getting it for free, I just can't afford buying a game I'll already own legally... Maybe I'll buy some merch?

I beat Hydrophobia... I got while it was on sale and updated... It did get a bit annoying at some points, but it wasn't terrible... Just how much did the update change?

Thank God it's not going to be a hardcore survivalist game, but how can it call itself survivalist if you can't really lose? Then again, I don't think you could really lose in Survival Kids?

I usually don't ask for tech support because I can usually figure it out by myself, but this is just baffling me... Recently we upgraded out internet from 20Mb to 50Mb.... We didn't notice a difference, as a matter of fact, the connection has gotten WORSE even since we "upgraded", it drops a lot and it's slower! Not to mention my consoles are performing worse online too! We found out that our Wifi adapters are not the right type, so we upgraded from G to N and... the laptop has gone from... 10 to 20 Mb, the desktop... more or less the same? I have a Cisco EuroCISC Gateway and 2 Belking SURF USB wireless micro adapters... Google gives me links to pirates talking about some program to enhance my connection, but that's not going to help my consoles... The signal is so weak... the obvious solution seems to get an access point? My brother in law who is more tech savy say to do some investigation work, and by that he means google it... Then again, maybe there is something else to this since the laptop won't perform better even if I set it up right in front of the gateway... And if you're going to ask if my adapter is close to anything... it's close to EVERYTHING!

Did you buy the Meridian 4 pack? That's where I got it! The game was fun, but it's not really original, "cut the rope" puzzles have existed in flash form at the same time this game, I don't know who came first though... I certainly has a higher level of polish that all those flash games though! ;P
