As far as I know switching PS3 user is easy and painless since it stores several, I think you have to "activate" games if you bought something on that account? I could play my Euro games on the other account, but from what I've heard the moment I try to play a US or Japanese PSN game I'll have to "activate" the other account and I'll only be able to play games on that account until I activate the other account again? I'll find out when I buy a PSone game, I've only bought PSP ones so far... The reason why it's a royal pain is when you play PSP or PSOne games, which are the only ones that are only available in some regions, as far as I know PSN downloadable games are always worldwide... The PSP can only store ONE account, so you have to delete your account, input the US or JP user and password and THEN activate the account, it's something that's pretty annoying to do with a d-pad, but it's not too bad, but I can see why people would put it off... As long as you try to play and beat the "import" games as soon as possible, so you can switch back to your normal account, it shouldn't be that bad... Of course, since you need access to the internet to login and activate your account, you won't be able to switch account if you're in the middle of the street unless you find a free wi-fi spot? EDIT: Scratch that, it looks like there will be a US only PSN game this summer! Then I'll find out how burdensome it really is to switch and activate accounts on the PS3, but I'm sure it's easy compared to the PSP!

I assume you haven't solved the DLC problem you had yet, then? I know Europe get's the short end of the stick, but this is ridiculous! I always jokingly say that the US gamers get hugs and kisses when they buy a game and Europe gets a kick in the balls, but now I can no longer say it jokingly!

Not really, the video shows you exactly the same you'd see in the game... it's not even a real game... the enemies don't even shoot you!

Another clue to know how to get hi-jink is that since the doll you use gets a golden item as a reward you just have to look for dolls that don't have golden items? I'm positive that you can only get one golden item per character, but not all of them get them... If you are missing two character in the final level, I think I might know which ones they are?

Imagine Titan Quest by an indie company... that's pretty much Loki... Another mythological monster masher that's Diablesque... This game was my first Steam present, I wanted it to see how it would be and... it would be so much better if they added an extra layer of polish... You can choose between several heroes each belong to a different "myth" world (Norse, Egypt, Aztec...) and each being a different type, I chose the wizard type (DUH!) and I soon began too see all the games flaws... There doesn't seem to be any penalty for death, you just start at the entrance of the area you died in and if you're quick enough the enemy won't even have had time to regen it's health! The game seems to imply that after the first section of the game it won't be this forgiving, but... that's not good enough! Even Deathspank is less forgiving than this game! The skill trees are annoying... each characters has only three gods to worship to each giving you access to one skill tree and you can only worship one at a time so if you want to become a summoner and a caster, you'll have to go to the temple every so often to switch deities, which is rather annoying for one reason... The game is very non friendly map-wise and "walking-wise", even save-wise! If you quit the game you start at the beginning village, the game gives you a teleport pendant, but it seems it can only teleport you between villages, but I gave up before finding out if there are more villages... The game ONLY has a minimap and it ONLY points you to your destination if you're in the same map the destination is, so if you save and are kicked back to first village, you'll have to remember which way you went to continue from there... The game also have this stone that grant a bonus to a certain attribute or give an XP bonus while they last, but... they always run out before you find the next enemy... Did I mention you can only save when you quit the game? This game would have fun if it didn't have some many design flaws, also, the wizard isn't that fun to play with...

Yeah, the premise had promise, that's why I just added it to my wishlist instead of buying instantly... :|

TvTropes is equally "dangerous"... I suppose I'm the only person here who actually likes watching Let's Plays and Longplays... I've already tried to pimp them before... While I agree with Vimes and I think there does seem to be a bit of Hatorade in the forums lately, the worst Idle Thumbs has to offer is grumpy sour smartypants, even if we actually did have trolls, they had enough respect, or more likely common sense to not start a flame war! Sure, there are a few people poking fun at me, but I doubt they'd actually go too far and compare me to a "special needs person"... When people think a thread is getting "too hot for comfort" they post puppy pictures... when we start posting pictures of dead puppies, then we'll be a forum that is capable of a flame war! The other day a friend of Auntie Pixelante made, well... the only way to describe is a hateful NSFW image of Jim Sterling... I don't know if he ego surfed for himself or someone linked to it, but Jim Sterling found out.... and said it was rather sad to see what some of his haters do... Then the flame war began... I'd hate to say it, but posting such a thing to begin with makes the girl a troll... And while I don't follow this girl, I'm a fan of Auntie Pixelante and I've seen this girls LJ and Twitter before this all happened... She's no sweet innocent girl, that I can tell you... The thing is... Auntie Pixelante intervened and found Jim the biggest misogynist in the world... sure he used very sexist language, but this is Jim Sterling, he's an "equal opportunist hater" and will make crass jokes about anything... I'd hate to say but I have to pick Jim Sterling's side, Jim only called her sexist terms because she was female, if she had been short he would have called her a disgusting dwarf... it's what he does! Many of you think he's a troll, some of you think he's a cannibal troll and a few of you think he's a genius... for a being a cannibal troll? Auntie Pixelante started a crusade to get Jim fired... I'm sorry... where was she when Jim made all those pedophilia jokes? You can't claim to be the harbinger of anit-misogyny when you only react when you've been personally attacked... You can't go to a comedy show with an offensive comedian and laugh at most of his and then get offended and ask for him to get fired when one of his jokes hits home... It get's worse.... they've created a joke twitter account of JOM STROLING making misogynistic comments... does that sound like something reasonable people do? They tried to get Felicia day on their side, but the neglected the fact that the girl started it and HOW she started it... The worst part? ANNA ANTHROPY WON'T LISTEN! Unless you tell "her" Jim deserves to die like the pig he is, she'll treat you as badly as Jim, no matter how calmly and logical you try to be... I know most of you hate Jim's guts and I love Anna Anthopy /Auntie Pixelante, but... I have to takes Jim's side... Jim might be a troll, but at least he's acting like an adult troll, while Anna and her friends are acting like children... Damn, I'm practically a bit misandrist and quite a philogynist, but serious... ANNA NEEDS TO TAKE A CHILL PILL! It's pretty obvious that you have to stop posting if you want it to die, but... I'm sorry, I just can't NOT reply to this... If we "misbehave" the moment we stop talking about video games, we ARE just like people this guy is talking about! It really makes the gaming community look bad when we're only "nice" when talking about games... A little while ago I played So Blonde a very pandering adventure game with a blonde ditz stuck on a tropical island... the game made too many pop culture references and it made no sense... the hero was, well... very stupid, yet she had to solve complex puzzles and her IQ seemed to change when the plot required it to... I know played Kaptain Brawe and guess what? The hero is also dumb! The game has a nice look to it, but it's so budget it doesn't have voiceover and I just can't over the fact that I'm playing as a dumb person doing smart things... It's like playing an FPS with a pacifist character, although that might actually work... I know "dumb" heroes are good for comedic purposes, but I just can't accept them in adventure games.... The hero doesn't have to be a genius, but when we have to believe the hero has solved every puzzle out of dumb luck? That's just too much! Adventure games are supposed to make you feel clever, how can you feel clever when your main character isn't? I know many adventure heroes are klutz but that's different, at least they know what they are doing! I really hope this isn't the start of a new trend, please tell me you haven't heard of more "dumb" adventure heroes...

It's probably the same person who added it to the thread I created last week and everybody hated? We could debate on what makes a man mature (this man sure isn't in my book) but apparently this thread needs to die... *shrugs* Of course, I'm sure we all have our own definition of maturity and what makes a person mature or not... Gabriel Knight and Kate Walker's games are definitely NOT comedies.... I think Jake is right, the other examples are perceived as dumb, but rarely are while these new ones are actually dumb, I think it is really just a case of doing it wrong and / or not getting it... I just remembered another case where it actually works pretty well... Anybody remember the Beavis & Butthead adventure games(Yes, there were more than one...)? You can't get much dumber than that! But it WORKED! Why? Because their idiotic methods of solving puzzles MADE SENSE! They usually didn't know what would happen if you used item A on item B, but if it sounded like it would be something cool, they would do it... In one puzzle they had to access a certain area and all they had was to iron balls on the ground that they obviously couldn't lift... What did they do? They got a board between the balls to create a giant schlong! It also worked as a trampoline, but hey... HUH HUH HUH! I made a giant schlong! Huh huh huh! Cool! Now THAT is how you make an adventure game with complete imbeciles!

I think the final one is my favorite! Just wait till you get to it!
