Garrymon Episode 2 FINALLLY! NVx5WKPaF8w
-
Can't you play it with a game pad?
-
Dead Island is 50% off, I heard the quests are terrible, but it's kinda "beautifully broken"?
-
It's a bit late to know that for me, but the PC version maxed out will probably look as good as the HD PSN remake and it will be much cheaper. (I just hope they don't release an HD collection, I'm kinda addicted to collecting collections, you don't wanna know how many different versions I have of the Sega Classics Collection.) Gamersgate has a Black Friday sale, but it's not as good as Steams, and when it is, it's the same offer as Steam, at least, that's what it looks like from a first glance.
-
Was Amiga Power brutally honest? Still, seems how the main complaints about the game is that it gets boring, that's enough for me. I can play "terrible" games, but I won't play a mediocre boring one!
-
I remember it being better than the other current gen PoP, and a bit more like the older ones? I think it even took place in the Sands of Time series as I remember using the Sands of Time to stop water and climb it.
-
Well, Heavy Rain and Dragon Age 2 are the first to come to mind, at first everybody seemed to love them but after time goes by, they say they kinda suck. I guess that happens to many games, but to some games more than others.
-
L.A. Noire is 50% off, was it really good or did people just like the facial animation and got bored of it when the hype died down? I can't help to notice how many "awesome" games are "terrible" when the hype wears off.
-
I finally beat the game too... Also...
-
Actually, I notice it only does the unskippable item description once per session, which make sense, the game doesn't know when your last session was, so giving a refresher seems reasonable. What really pissed me off is the dowsing ability, wanna guess when Fi gained the ability to detect Gratitude Crystals? When I finished the quest! I'm pretty sure there is another item I no longer need Fi can detect once I talk to the appropriate person. I've got 5 bottles with a Life Potion ++ and I'm pretty sure I'm about to enter the final dungeon/battle, I think I'm ready!

I believe the P.C. term is: The Sale! There are couple of games with SecuROM or TAGES on sale, like Risen that I don't know if I should dare to buy. I'll probably buy the 75% off games from my wishlist and see if the rest get cheaper before the sale ends.
-
I'm pretty sure America's Black Friday deals will be better than ours, it's the only day of the year people literally risk their lives for a deal.
-
I'm confused, why is Europe getting Black Friday deals? We don't celebrate Thanksgiving, so we don't have a real Black Friday either! There are quite a few Thanksgiving/Black Friday sales on iTunes Store. EA and SEGA I think?
-
Yep, it seems the Wii Motion plus needs to be re-calibrated way to often, why do you think so many items have the "center" option? I think making smaller motions helps a little and sometimes putting away and taking out your sword works too? But yeah, it kinda sucks.

So the bloody bird target mini-game is actually doable? EDIT: It was doable! And I'm beginning to see what you said about what comes after it. At least I'm almost done with the side quests. I might grind for ingredients for potions and upgrades, but I just can't find anymore blue feathers! D:
-
Damn, I can't help to notice you the game is become increasingly frustrating... But seriously, that mini-game, it's like taking a chemistry test and all of the sudden then demand you draw a photo-realistic capybara from memory or else you fail the test. I have no idea if that made any sense....
-
Skyward Sword has the WORST OBLIGATORY minigame ever near the end.... It forces you to master a skill you never needed to use before!
-
I've owned a few stealth games and hated them up until one day I decided to give Splinter Cell a second chance and... it clicked with me? All of the sudden I understood how the game really worked and how to play and loved every moment of it. Everything became like a puzzle and it became incredibly satisfying to take out enemies with only my wits, every room was like a puzzle to me! IT FELT SO GOOD! I gave the Riddick games a chance and while the action sections were hit and miss, once again, I loved the stealth sections. I bought the Splinter Cell HD Collection just because, well... I have a thing for retro collections, but also it had Pandora Tomorrow, which wasn't in the Steam collection. I just finished the first game again and I did much better than I expected and it confirmed than I now love stealth games, so the question is... What have I missed? Thief, Hitman, Metal Gear are the only titles I can think of, there has to be more, right? And of course I'm also interested games like Deus Ex or Alpha Protocol in which you can play as a stealth class. I may be lacking in the funds department now, but it can't hurt to add them to my "buy later" list!
-
I might get to the one Thief game I own after I'm done with Splinter Cell, either that or Hitman. Commandos is a Spanish game and a Spaniard, it's kinda my duty to at least own it, not to mention it came out as a special collection that was only available in Spain, and I can't resist a special collection pack.
-
Indie Royale now let's you preorder the games, which is kinda weird.... why pre-order the bundle before knowing what's in it? With so many indie bundles out there, the likeliness of you getting a game you don't own yet is steadily decreasing.
-
I wouldn't be surprised, the game is filled with little details that would go unnoticed unless you're paying attention, the how the shop keeper looks so dejected the moment you turn away from his store or how certain items can create unexpected situations with enemies and NPCs.
-
Yeah, that's pretty neat, and if you sit next to someone you'll start a conversation! I just realized today I won't be able to get all the heart pieces thanks to the bloody minigames, but that's been the case with every Zelda game that had minigames that gave heart pieces. I guess I'll just try to do the side quests instead, those are fun!
-
Nevermind... it's fetching 80€ on eBay and online stores that still have it stock. Frankly, I don't mind early 3D games, I'd rather replay the original. But Metal Gear has got me thinking about retro games that are stealthy, apart from the original Metal Gear what is there? Castle Wolfenstein?
-
Snake Eater is the only one I never played, well that and Twin Snakes, is it really worth looking for? I already have MGS 1 & 2. Oddly enough, I think the reason I never bothered with Snake Eater originally was that it sounded like you actually had to have real stealth skills and had low tech or no tech to aid you. Which reminds me, the HD collection should come with MGS3 Subtance, which means it will come with the original MSX games!
-
Then I guess it was because I played them on easy, but I don't remember them all having easy mode. I guess I'll have to play Metal Gear 3: Snake Eater on normal when the collection comes out in Europe, and maybe even replay the rest on normal too? (I can't help to notice I'm going to be playing mostly HD collections this year)
