You can trade coal for that one? Sure, I'm up! EDIT: Apparently I won Nuclear Dawn with one of the Holiday Achievements. I don't know much about the game but maybe I can trade it if someone has something I might like?
-
I got achievements and used console commands, but only because the quest was borked.
-
I know I'm not going to win any big prizes, but you do give up on the chance to win the grand prize when you redeem the coal? Although come to think of it, I think in the summer deal you kept the tickets, you just couldn't redeem them again? Anyway, I think I'll try to get some Steam "cheevos" and hope I'm lucky, for a the chance of a free game? It's worth a shot!

If you have the PC version you can go the wiki for that quest and use console commands to force it work, I had to do it for one quest where a woman wanted a pendant from his executed brother, but if you already have it, the quest doesn't end and if you go for it after she asks for it, the body is gone. I've only had to do it once, so I'm not complaining.

Yeah, how does that work anyway? Does it give you a random game, something from your wishlist or something from a specific list? The summer sale at least showed you the list of what you could trade for.
-
Damn, I really don't know what to do now... I'm at a peace treaty as part of the main quest and it looks like you will hand a city over to one side or the other, but how does this affect the war quest? Does it matter which city I chose to hand over?

Hard Reset is 75% on Steam... We can thank Thompson for this, because we all know that buying a game forces it to go on sale! Murphology at it's finest!
-
Has anybody been checking the PSN and XBLA deals? PSN had daily deals, but I think the daily stuff is over and they are having an encore now. Was the XBLA one daily too?
-
Why didn't you wait until the final day for a non-special discount game? I want Hard Reset too, but there is small chance it might go 75% off?
-
My wish list is filled with 10-5€ games that are about 2€ now, I might not have a wishlist after this sale is over. Restaurant Empire II? I think I may have owned the first game when I didn't get these kind of games and got rid of it...
-
Don't worry, I took a risk and bought it anyway, I'll probably enjoy at least one of them! XD

I think I might have started one of the evil ones by accident, I was helping someone investigate a house where a Deadric worshiper lived and... The doors looks, everything went creepy and I heard a voice that told me to kill the good guy, I must admit, I didn't check if I could just leave before killing him, but the others doors were looked so I assumed I had no choice.

There doesn't seem to be anything interesting on today's Steam sale, Limbo was just on sale a few days ago.
-
Can you do other quests after the main quest? I think it might be better if I juggle this game with others, at least for a while.
-
Doesn't the game have unlimited dragons and quests anyway? I just play on doing the main and faction quests. The Thieves' Guild is getting silly, I have to do 5 jobs in each main city to unlock a special job and then do the special job for each city to restore the Guild's status, that's 24 quests in total! Of course, I picked the pick pocketing quests since I'm already good at them and they seem to be the quickest, but still...

I think I need to take break of Skyrim, I thought I was done with the Thieves' Guild questline, only to find out I still have to "restore it to it's proper glory". I wanted to be "finish" the game in time for Xmas, but I don't think I'll have time even with all the free time I have now. I have to do the main quest, which I don't even know which it is, the Dragon Slayer one? I have to return the Thieves' Guild to it's Glory, finish the war quests, do the whole Dark Brotherhood and apparently there is now some Circle to join? Oh well, maybe I can finish it before the year ends?

It looks to me that they try their best to show both sides at their worst, one will hate you for your race, the other will hate you for your beliefs. I haven't spent much time in Imperial cities, so apart from the execution... and the execution at the beginning of the game I don't really know much about the Empire, but I guess it's too late for me... Oh well, "Viking land" should be for the "Vikings" anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if I became their leader, but I wouldn't be surprised if that changed nothing in the world. "Hey guys, let's be nicer to other races!" will not be an option, and I'm pretty sure you can't get the Empire to let the Nords worship Talos again?

Oh man, I forgot about elf only slum district.

For me the two biggest turn off in adventure games are: -Moon logic puzzles -Excessive "normal" puzzles -Bad Myst clone: Any game where you spend hours clicking through screens with nothing in them. The strange puzzles you mention do worry me a bit, care to clarify?

Hmm, probably one of the earlier ones, I don't think it really matter, at that price if only one is good, I'll be happy, and I'm sure one of these games has the creepy Watson in it. 13YlEPwOfmk

I'm tempted by the Tropico Trilogy, how newbie friendly is it? I'm still on training wheels with this kind of game. Also, they have the Sherlock Holmes games on sale in a bundle, are they worth it? I heard they are pretty bad?
-
I'm playing as an elf, and I didn't get that vibe from them, but I've only done two missions with them.
-
I'm curious, which side did you choose on the war? I chose the Stormcloaks and I don't regret it since the first thing I saw entering the capital of the Empire was a public execution of a Stormcloak, or maybe just a nord that wasn't on their side? They want to regulate Skyrim's beliefs and they seem to hate Nord culture in general?

The whole library on Steam sounds both amazing and terrifying, I both want to win and at the same time, I hope I don't!

It's definitely not as good as in Oblivion, it's almost funny, I get caught because they hear me casting the spell! Does anybody find it annoying that completing the faction quests doesn't really do anything? You could be the Archmage, head of the Thieves and Dark Brotherhood and.... the guards will still only comment on "how they used to be adventurer, but they they took an arrow to the knee" or something related to one of your higher stats. It would be nice if it had some effect on the world, if only just have a guard or two call me by my new titles.
