  1. I Am Alive

It just came out on PSN and has a discount for PSN+ users, although I'm still debating whether to get it. Does the game sort of penalize you for killing the innocent? I saw some footage of a person killing people who threatened them, only to find their child a few moments later. Is it really that hard to tell who is innocent but scared and feels threatened and who is just a person who will shoot you for your items? Can you actually not kill them if you don't want to anyway?
  2. Leisure Suit Larry in "gimme your money"

Why does Bad Brain ring a bell?
  3. Epic Mickey

Well, with a little luck the 3DS Mickey game will deserve the "Epic" title. Come to think of it, it's kinda more appropriate for a retro looking game, everything was "epic" or "radical" back then! Sometimes they were even "tubular"!
  4. Shadowrun Kickstarter

OK, this is getting silly... I'm not funding anymore Kickstarters until the last moment, I don't want to blow my monthly gaming budget on some Kickstarters I might like just to see something better come out the next day... At this rate, we'll be getting all the games we ever wanted... AT THE SAME TIME!?! Shadowrun is one of those games I heard of too late and could never get my hands on, I guess this is a good start?
  5. Leisure Suit Larry in "gimme your money"

Yeah, it's kinda ridiculous spending all this money on game we won't play for maybe a whole year or more!
  6. Leisure Suit Larry in "gimme your money"

My thoughts exactly, if I buy any other package it doesn't seem worth it, I want the physical version, dammit! Which doesn't make sense since I buy all my PC games on Steam.
  7. Leisure Suit Larry in "gimme your money"

Frankly, as much as I love Al Lowe, I'd have to choose Jane Jansen over Al. Why are worried about the Dan Brown comment? Isn't The Da Vince Code the plot for every 90's adventure game ever?
  8. Leisure Suit Larry in "gimme your money"

Apparently Jane Jensen's just started her own Kickstarter... Why did they think this would be a good idea? Do they think we're so rich we can afford to invest so much money in more or less a month? Who is next? The Two Guys From Andromeda?
  9. Star Wars Kinect

"It's a snap!" I hope there is a Life Day song in there!
  10. Leisure Suit Larry in "gimme your money"

There is an actual Tex Murphy Kickstarter, right?
  11. Leisure Suit Larry in "gimme your money"

Yeah, the fact that Al Lowe is making a remake and not a new game isn't very enticing. Isn't this bad timing? Many adventure fan's wallets are still recovering from the Schafer Kickstarter and probably can't afford much, if anything at all. Not to mention that it seems they are trying to ride on the coat tails of Schafer (I'm not sure if I'm using the expression right) and are trying to get a Kickstarter up before people forget what it's about? Also, I don't want a condom if I buy the Collector's Edition...
  12. Your first gaming device...

I had a Vic-20 was a very little kid and still lived in Canada. It only had a math "game" and won't I think was some sort of database, since all you could do with it was type a word and it would tell you if it had it in storage or not? Does it really count if I didn't really play with it? When I moved to Spain I had a C-64, which is I would count as my first, since it had actual games on it!
  13. IDLE THUMBS KICKSTARTER!

Pfft... forget about the secret forums, the SUPER DUPER PUFFIN DELUXE forums is where it's at!
  14. Putt-Putt on the... iPhone?

Be sure to tell is if it's a decent port!
  15. Putt-Putt on the... iPhone?

Go on, put Putt-Putt in your pocket!
  16. Putt-Putt on the... iPhone?

I'm glad it's legit! I don't care what age they are intended for, I love clicking on random objects and seeing something weird happen like in The Manhole! I'm pretty sure I'm subscribed to the Atari Newsletter, I guess either I didn't read that email... Oops?
  17. Putt-Putt on the... iPhone?

Ha, ha, I wonder how many of us Europeans started with an 8-bit computer like the Amstrad, Spectrum or MSX? I was an adult when I got my hand on Spy Fox... it's the only Humongous game I own.
  18. Journey (thatgamecompany's next thing)

I finished my first journey and it was amazing! Near the end of the game I pretending that the sound we were making were a real conversation, and it looked like the other player was playing alone, although it's a shame you can't say anything more that the note we make... Even though it felt like were saying more than that.
  19. IDLE THUMBS KICKSTARTER!

Are the ones with the Rockafire Explosion band equally dangerous? (Or the same place?) zDjOCSwkHfk
  20. Trine 2

I got it for free on PSN Plus, I think it plays a bit better with a dual-stick joystick, special for the wizard. Speaking of which, I kinda didn't care about upgrading the rest of my team after I fully upgraded the wizard. It would have been nice if there had been more to find than XP. I did encounter a few glitches when I tried to drag a few items too far away from their point of origin, but it was a pretty fun experience. PS: Maybe it was because I was playing on an easier mode, but the final boss' energy didn't regenerate when I died, it made it too easy?
  21. Epic Mickey

Epic Mickey 3DS is a follow-up to Castle of Illusion! This sounds too good to be true, but since it's from the people behind Monster Tale, it's seems pretty plausible?
  22. Good Old GOG

Their other latest good "old" game is Cyrostasis, which isn't even 5 years old. At this rate they'll soon be getting games from the FUTURE!
  23. Civilization V

One thing that seems new from Civ Rev is the tile system. How important is buying tiles? I never bothered to buy any in my game I played, but maybe it would have helped since some cities were growing hungry near the end.
  24. Civilization V

I got this game while it was on sale, the only Civ game I played before was Civ Revolution, which I know was dumbed down so I was worried I'd suck at it. I played as the Babylonian on a easier setting and almost immediately when Catherine the Great denounced me (was it because I didn't open borders with her? She never asked to.), she somehow stopped hating me and then hated me and started hinting at me that she might wipe me out because my military power was so puny.... So I wiped her out with my superior technology! And 200 years later... SCIENCE VICTORY! I also don't get diplomacy, I think people were bullying me and asking for more than I got in return only because they had more military units even though mine were more advanced. This game is less aggressive than Civ Rev, in Civ Rev other territories got worried and threatened me the moment I had better tech than them, this never happened in my Civ V game. And maybe I wasn't playing it that well, because I never managed to be as overly advanced as my competition as compared to Civ Rev, is it possible to get a "tanks vs. spears" scenario?
  25. Recently completed video games

That choice wasn't that hard with me... I went with want. I just beat Rayman Origins, which is probably one of the best classic platforms I've played in ages! Some bosses where a bit boring or annoying, but still...
