I think I agree with anything political thing you have ever said on this board. This kind of stuff makes me upset and filled with fear. It makes me think I should start looking towards migrating to another country quickly. I have a few plans to leave the US in the future, but I imagine it will take a decade or so of savings and making myself a worthwhile artist for importing.

Yeah, Minish Cap was the most gorgeous 2D Zelda game I've ever seen. I was actually surprised that the GBA could display those kind of graphics for whatever reason even though it probably wasn't pushing the handheld system all that much. I own the first M&L game though and have yet to start it, so I'm not authorized to post in this thread. I've been trying to play all the Mario related Nintendo games in order for years now and I'm currently stuck in 1994 on Donkey Kong for Game Boy.

Yes, this is why they have so many Ubisoft ports, including some Rayman games that play like Sonic for whatever fucking reason with the limbless guy rolling into a spinball. Also, not being a Nirvana fan, I wasn't really offended by Kurt Cobain's likeness being used, but I was very offended by the crass commercialism of it all. Even seeing those stupid looking avatars on stage with him made me shudder. Johnny Cash is making Guiter Hero 5 too, I hear. Being a Public Enemy fan, I'm very offended by that awful Bring the Noise remix that will appear as exclusive to the game. I can't believe how terrible those screeching guitars were. They could have at least used the Anthrax version if they needed something with guitars. I guess it's not up to Chuck D though, since he doesn't have the ownership or publishing rights to any of those songs he did during the Def Jam era.

Oh my goodness, I can't even begin here. I have such a long list and it doesn't even take into account games I really would love to try but that I am avoiding at the moment in fear of inflating my backlog even more. For now, here's my "to finish" SNES games, which is the current console I'm stuck on: Earthbound Kirby's Dream Course Prince of Persia Michael Jordan's Chaos in the Windy City Alien 3 Lost Vikings II Mario RPG Kirby 3 Tetris Attack

I'd say these two series get really close and even tend to top a typical LucasArts background or animation many times, especially the earlier of both series and compared to the earlier of LucasArts, but in terms of constant quality throughout the years in terms of graphics, animation, and general creativity with good design, I don't think anyone had LucasArts topped.

Haha, I guess Kingzjester had a rant about them in a thread elsewhere a month or so ago so I figured it was a vast conspiracy theory against the thumbs. I don't think anyone but us old farts miss them and those that used them to rate games they were currently playing in their signature.

I'm starting to think there's some kind of deliberate behind-the-scenes reason they are missing...
