It should be recorded at The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter.

Ha ha, I'm going to steal that off you for a tweet. I normally try not to retweet, or post vids/images too much, but I think events demand it.

I was against it because the only reasons for it were a) stem immigration (which, even if it is effected by Brexit, is a stupid idea because we're a country of immigrants, they're our ancestors and our lifeblood); sunglasses) do shit like get rid of the Human Rights Act; c) save some money and put it into the NHS (Nigel Farage has already distanced himself from this, saying it was a mistake for the Leave campaign to promise that, the politicians backing Brexit want to dismantle the NHS, and even if we were to put money into the NHS it'll fall apart without immigrants to work there anyway). Leaving the EU will quite likely fuck us financially because we're a tiny island with no empire left and no exports, who will now have to renegotiate all trade agreements etc. It makes travel/emigration a lot harder. It makes life harder for all my immigrant friends. It makes life harder for me and my partner because a lot of the work round here was funded by the EU and will now disappear.

[RELEASE] A Very Pretty Pipe Dream or A Chill Hell or Memeify McCree

Thanks atte! The structure is pretty much nailed down now, but I will try to put at least some of these in either as background/dialogue gags or little hidden story-offshoots. I'm wondering to myself if I could somehow add this comic into Blue Hag Christmas as yet another story to optionally fall into... -
Excellent, thanks for the travelogue!

Good stuff, thanks! (can you put that image in spoilers though, please? I don't mind people seeing what has been suggested but I'm trying to keep the general context in spoiler tags) -
In case people have stopped checking the Jam forums (or have never checked them), I'm knocking together a very late entry for the latest jam. It's an interactive comic and I'm crowd-sourcing for extra ideas - story points, settings, characters, jokes, designs. Feel free to suggest stuff and I'll try to drop them in!

You mean New Order? I thought that was a sequel, not a reboot..?

DID YOU RECORD IT?

I worked out that GPUtweak is the clocking thing my mate installed when he built this PC for me. I turned that off and updated to the second most recent Nvidia driver (the latest one's ropey, apparently), and the game ran very well apart from the occasional super-slow three seconds on restarting from a checkpoint. I enjoyed playing the demo. It looks really nice (considering it's an Aliens-y space base and Mars) and is very slick and well-presented. The shooting felt a little floaty (though this might be because I'm deep in 20th century FPSes at the moment) and I often had trouble discerning the enemies' locations due to the colour scheme, but it was good fun when you got on a roll, running from enemy to enemy and keeping your health up by beating them to death with their own limbs.

Right, we should be on Cars 2 by now, so I'm just going to wrap this re-watch up for y'all from memory/guesses: Up - good opening sequence, the rest is a well-presented mess Toy Story 3 - unimaginative with utterly misjudged tone Cars 2 - [guess] more fun than the first one but a load of different ideas and pastiche thrown together Brave - boring Monsters U - uninspired and unfunny Inside Out - great as long as you don't expect it to map exactly to psychological processes all guesses: The Good Dinosaur - aimed at a younger audience; mainly sappy, with a couple of cool action sequences Finding Dory - even more boring than the first one and slightly more irritating Cars 3 - soulless Coco - will look & sound great but suffer in comparison to Grim Fandango for being too clean. Better than Book Of Life though. Toy Story 4 - more fun than 3, might match 2 for inventiveness The Incredibles 2 - will self-indulgently focus on its themes over its stucture and therefore not be as satisfying as the original Done.

Please upload a playthrough (with commentary?) so I can see the ending!

Trying the demo and it's having memory issues. The first time I ran it, it took about 5 minutes to get through the splash screens, then WIndows warned me about memory usage while it was loading up the campaign, then it got stuck at 94%. So I tried again, the splash screens were fine, I played for about a minute then it crashed and said something about GPUtweak. I think my specs are pretty decent (here's the screen-grab of my original purchase that I always use because I'm too lazy to write my specs out: http://i.imgur.com/qTjSK.png ) so I don't know what's going on here. I perhaps need to do somethnig with my Nvidia settings or get the latest drivers (I've been scared to recently because there's always news about them frying people's PCs) but I've never had to do that with any other game on this rig.

Okay, I've incorporated some of the ideas above, and the general opening concept is So, feel free to keep the ideas coming! Come at me, bros! I've started doing rough drafts of panels quickly so I can get everything into Cwine and sort out a skeleton structure that I'm happy with as a minimum. Then I'll start doing the art proper and replacing the roughs. Then I'll spend the rest of the time before the next stream adding in as many story branches as I can... -
Okay, this may not happen, but I'm hoping to knock together a very rough, very simple AGS game over the weekend. I'll basically be going through a tutorial and changing stuff to fit the game until I run out of time. Wish me luck! EDIT: https://timegentleman.itch.io/bubl-bloodborne-bloodbeef

Glad you finally got to see your credit!

I have done a commentary video!

It does go against my ethos for this playthrough, you're right, but perhaps if they're v easy to implement and I get to the point where I'm about to give up on the game, I'll consider it!
-
Hooray! I really hope you keep that stony texture in (and mimic the other, lower-down ones from that reference pic too).
-
That was a great stream! I missed the start, can someone please post when it's up on their YouTube channel? Looking forward to them polishing off the last few games and moving onto the previous year's jam!
-
No idea - whichever version was up at around 6pm GMT on the 6th June!
-
Hmm, seems I didn't post on the itchio page (perhaps I wasn't doing that with the Winter Jam games), but I remember playing and enjoying it!

Oooh, when is this happening? What's the link?! INFORMATION, PEOPLE!
