Yeah, maybe a better thing to do would be to take some classes or book clubs or something, where if you don't meet anyone you still accomplish something, but you're more likely to meet people with similar interests.

I hate to be that internet guy, but it feels pretty fake to me (or are we supposed to recognise it as such?).

I'm happy to if I'm available and remember it's happening. Would probably be a good idea to mention or direct message the people you want to chip in, a short time before (that way my phone will notify me wherever I am) and start a hashtag. What would you want the questions to be about?
