I thought that too! I kept looking round the room to see if a phantom handheld had snuck in. Re the safe combo and the booby trap, I figured those out at the same time as Holmes ( - both elementary, my dear Yufster). I enjoyed the ep overall, and thought they did horror quite well, and a clever update of the original as usual (Holmes refusing to believe in genetic experiment urban legends rather than supernatural ones). I thought Holmes solved it all a bit too easily at the end though ( ). I really must watch The Room once I'm recovered. They play it at the Prince Charles regularly.

Hi everyone! The op went well, and I'm recovering nicely. My balls went unshaven and unsliced, thankfully. The only thing I have to worry about now is getting lots of fibre and trying not to do anything that might result in reherniating.

Thanks! It actually hasn't hurt at all, except for one time when I must have knocked or stretched it or something, and it was sore for a couple of days. Apparently the next day or two may be extremely painful, though...

Yeah, I decided on that. I have trimmed it very close with some scissors, I assume that won't be a problem. Thanks! I'm not sure whether to do it before going to the hospital, so I can really take my time over it, or to wait until I get there and they ask me to do it in case they just tell me to do it again. EDIT: a Google tells me it's best not to do it beforehand.

A year after first going to my GP about it, tomorrow I'm finally going into hospital to have an operation done on my hernia. I'm going under general anaesthetic for it, then I have to rest up for a couple of days and probably take a couple of weeks off work so I can slowly get back to full capacity (although I shouldn't do any heavy lifting or straining for 6 weeks in total). I'm not worried about the op itself, but I am nervous about having to shave my balls for the first time ever, and making sure that it all heals properly and doesn't get ripped open or infected. So, I'm not sure if I'll be around for the first couple of days, but then I'll probably be on here A LOT, so get ready for a 400% increase in Gibbage-pushing and faux-misogyny.
