Just to clarify, which bits of this are jokes? We're talking about square jawlines essentially, right? Personally, I don't think the last two of your video game examples really fit. Randomly picking this choice of attractive current actresses doesn't show too many, either: http://latestwebstuff.com/top-10-sexiest-and-beautiful-hollywood-actresses-of-2012/2916.html But if indeed you have noticed a trend we haven't, an interesting point is that, comparing that photo of Jolie to younger photos of her (say, in Hackers), she did not always have that jawline. Perhaps as more actresses feel obliged to approach zero percent body fat, more of them have jawlines resembling that of a skull. And gaming follows accordingly.

Well, I was trying to give Rodi a heart attack, but this'll do.

Thread for the original game here, btw.

Half-Life3 or Half-Life E(pisode)3. 2013. Definitely.
-
The last I read you were doing a Flashheart audition piece, did I miss something? Are you in a group performing the whole of Blackadder II?
-
Yeah, "opposing force" refers to the soldiers but also is a physics term (as in, for example, Newton's Third Law), and Blue Shift refers to the work shift of the security guards in blue, as well as being this. "Half-Life" could as a double-meaning be also referring to your ever dwindling health, or maybe they only did puns for those two add-ons...
-
Does that have a double-meaning? Are you saying it was called that because they thought the PS2 was shit?
-
Yeah, Dan had to explain that to me and that was only when he realised in 2005. Also, it took him a bizarrely long amount of time to work out that Wile E. Coyote was so named because it sounded like "wily coyote". I actually snuck a line of dialogue into TGP where the character Dan suddenly realises that, to take this piss out of real-life Dan.

Your site has a failed security certificate, apparently.

Someone's doing a big ambitious BM style (but unaffiliated) remake of OF and BS. You know, it took me a long time to realise that those two add-ons have clever names

Brilliant, I was trying to find this exact thing the other day, thanks Tegan! Now what I need is an app that makes YouTube buffer properly...

WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET PINK BENDY DRAWERS?

Working my way through The West Wing, on S3 and really enjoying it. I know there's generally understood to be a post-S4 quality-valley, but how deep and how long is it?

This is linked to in that article, and is a really good summary of her position. A good one to link to for internet debates (there should be a term for articles that you do that with): http://jezebel.com/5925186/how-to-make-a-rape-joke

What are the biggest changes they're making? Is it mainly technical tweaks?

My thoughts from the Size Five forums: My dream game with all the VR turned up to 11 would be a LOST game. The Island would be a fantastic location for a game, with loads of interesting locations and history plus the potential for more stuff to show up at any time (a non-proprietary replacement could be done instead obviously, but I LOVE LOST). Running around with the Omni, mixed with Milo-style Kinect puzzle cleverness would be amazing, brushing sand off old surfaces, copying down hieroglyphs and showing them to other people. I was always disappointed that Milo got canned and then there was never a replacement killer app for Kinect. The Double Fine games are the only ones I'm aware of that really did anything with it.

I've got that, but it's been sitting on the shelf shrink-wrapped for ages. I feel like I need a whole day to dedicate to it!

She's truly outrageous.

When I played Far Cry and the mutant things first showed up, there was a square staircase I had to go down but one of the monsters was coming up. I sat patiently with my reticule over the first bit of stairs he would walk up where I could shoot it... and then it saw me and jumped UP AND ACROSS THE STAIRWELL AT ME. I absolutely shat myself, I wasn't used to enemies doing stuff like that.
