Did you know that the phrase "twelve minutes" has only ever been said twice on these forums? And neither in reference to the upcoming Groundhog Day-esque time-loop game! EDIT: waah, I can't delete/edit my typo-ed Tobolowsky tag! Moddd!

No footage that I'm aware of, but here's an interview.

I hope Mo'Ne Davis marries Cash Money and becomes Mo'Ne Money ne Davis.

It seems that I was the only reader not to have figured that out! Onto Book 2:

Yeah, he was fantastic.

Absolutely, I was just wondering if in this case there was anything specific. As I say, I was following the whole thing with my hands over my eyes, so I missed the rape threat stuff. I also missed any mention of Charlie Hall/Danielle getting harassed. Where did Jon mention that? I'm surprised to learn that sociopathy and psychopathy as terms can be interchangeable. My basic understanding (which I probably got from a film because I'm a fucking idiot) was that psychopaths don't/can't understand ethics or the rules of society, whereas sociopaths do understand but they don't give a shit.

Interesting that this is in the Feminism thread. Do you think this would have been less likely to happen to a son of Robin Williams? Or has there been an overtly gender-related aspect to it that I haven't seen (probably from not wanting to see too many details of the nasty shit they were sending her)? I'm not sure about labelling the abusers as sociopaths, though, as that article does. I'm not a psychologist, but it seems all we know about them is that they're sadistic, which I don't think is enough to diagnose them with a personality disorder. They could well just be nasty little shits. But perhaps that's how "sociopath" is being used now? There was a minor storm over here when shitty free paper The Metro put his method of suicide in their front page headline (thankfully I've managed to avoid being exposed to that knowledge). Apparently other shitty tabloids like The Mirror were linking the suicide to his financial difficulties, which goes against the Samaritans guidelines, a basic understanding of depression and, of course, basic human decency.

It's unlikely, but one thing they could do relatively easily is contact all the fan KQ remake teams and help polish them up/release them commercially (perhaps in a bundle).

A couple of other things:

I've just started reading the books again, and I'm going to post thoughts here. I'll put them all in spoilers, but as long as you've read all the books there shouldn't be anything in there that you didn't know already. If anyone wants to respond with theories or lists of evidence for stuff not yet overtly revealed, please do it in such a way that I don't accidentally read them. I'm still annoyed that I read the (probably correct) theory about who is - I don't think I'd even realised it was in question, as I'd been gobbling up the (probably) red herring story all the way! I hear there's a hot new fan theory which the actor was asked about and agrees with, but I've managed to avoid it. So, my thoughts:

Idle Thumbs 171: The Curious Case of the Rhode Island Reader
Ben X replied to Jake's topic in Idle Thumbs Episodes & Streams
Yayyy, thanks for the mention of my Twine game, Jake! Danielle in particular sounded interested, so I hope she'll take a look. -
You fail for not referring to it by its proper name "Full Editor", thus wasting precious seconds of my time. (But thanks!) ANYWAY that game sounds pretty cool, eh?

I have to stop myself from replying to every single post in the Emergency Baby Animals Jif thread with "Squeee!" -
Gah, you got in there quickly! Yeah, I didn't bother to check my spelling before submitting, then saw it and immediately knew it was wrong

Oh man, that's sad. I watched him quite recently in World's Greatest Dad, which he was very good in. He was halfway to a Bill Murrennaissance. Speaking of pointless characters in GoG, I agree that Thanos would have worked better as an invisible presence with a couple of mentions so his legend is built up in the background, plus they should have got rid of Djimon Hounsou's character and given all his business to Karen Gillan's character, and as much as I like seeing Christopher Fairbank it probably would have made sense to amalgamate his fence character with Benicio Del Toro's collector.

Shame on you, Twig, for not posting a third near-identical topic.

I'll just quote my response from the last time I was flummoxed by how many people here dislike Aliens (in the Colonial Marines thread): I love Alien, I love Aliens, they're both fantastic films. Oh, and that Cameron letter reads as pretty respectful, to me. -

Help me forget about Olly Moss and move on with my life
Ben X replied to melmer's topic in Idle Banter
I agree with Jake, the whole "Keep Calm And" thing really needs to stop. -
I've been watching Deadwood, and it's hit that same plateau that Hell On Wheels did for me, where I've enjoyed the introduction of the characters and setting, but now it's all just pretty dull and repetitive. It's just endless machinations and threats with nothing really happening. Oh, I watched the first ep of Utopia and really enjoyed it.

If you're asking if it was a wet dream, the answer is no.

Obligatory Comical YouTube Thread II: The Fall of YouTube

One for Tegan (because Gravity Falls): -
For the first time I've found myself properly annoyed at Kevin Smith, having listened to his unoffical Burton Batman commentary podcasts, where he picks holes, takes everything completely literally and complains that things are different from the comics. i was looking forward to a joyful commentary that picked up on cool stuff that I might have missed, but instead it seems these were pretty much an excuse to Burton-bash after their mini-kerfuffle over a coincidental similarity between the Planet Of The Apes ending and an Apes skit in one of Smith's comics. For a guy who talks regularly about his post-Brave And The Bold epiphany that there's room for many different interpretations of Batman, he sure rags on these two movies a lot for not being Nolan enough.
