In the interests of equality, I would like to point out that Danielle is also dreamy.

Is there a second page? Because the button's not doing anything for me and if there isn't, that seems like a pretty negative ending to me!

Oh cool, thanks!

Idle Interviews #2 Chris Remo (Musician, designer)

I think sclpls was just following up on JonCole's nickname pun ("boost") with two of his own ("hot scoops" and "video games") rather than actually criticising. Ah ha ha! Amazing! -
Ah, thanks UDP. Yeah, I might read the hedge knight books after I've finished my ASOIAF read through. I'll pass on the info about Wild Cards too, cheers!

I just can't believe they've harrassed a load of female developers out of the industry. Wait, this isn't the Feminism thread -
You're from the UK, HMV should be burnt into your brain! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMV

That "this is so great I want to keep it!" move was straight out of a toothpaste commercial. I was hoping you meant Susie Dent ): EDIT: as someone pointed out in her comments, if her flat doesn't have any walls that are 175 inches, she's not getting paid enough for this shit.

Looking pretty brave there, dibs.

Ah, that sounds great, Lizzy. Well done and good luck!

I watched a couple of episodes later on, from where shows up. They weren't amazing telly or anything but they were better than the first two or three. It still has a load of dreadful dialogue and supposedly brilliant people doing incredibly stupid things, but it was better. It looked nice and had well choreographed/directed action, too. Apparently the next episode, ep 17 "Turn, Turn, Turn", takes place after Cap 2 and immediately raises the quality plus fixes a load of previous character/plot annoyances.

So, what, around halfway? Or are you saying that the first few episodes were great fun and I was just taking them too seriously?

No evidence? FALSE FLAG FALSE FLAG

Has anyone been watching this? Does it get worth watching at any point in the first season? The first 2 or 3 episodes were dreadful...

Sorry, I mean the people calling for them to be fired and/or actually explaining what the problem ostensibly is.

I wonder if the misspelling of Danielle's name is an hilarious satire of the fact that she has a foreign name. The dripping condescension as he (I assume, as you said dude) refers to her as "miss Danielle Riendau" is telling... This is about the deep corruption of a journalist having such a close relationship with a developer that she replied to his tweet about Katherine Hepburn skateboarding, though. Where are the ones about two journalists being in a relationship?

I'm planning to watch that soon. I hear that Vol 2 is not nearly as good, though.

If only they followed the bit about there only ever being two of them ):

The other amazing thing about those comments is that they're full of haters who are on the same side and yet don't realise it because they don't actually read each others' posts properly, and so end up calling each other morons.

In case anyone missed the thorough linking to the PAX panel over in Idle Banter: -
I'm surprised she hasn't already used her connections in the Hernandez-Riendeau Cabal to become the sole host and change it into a Misandry 'Cast. IDisLikE beingundermensTHUMBS

Obviously the educational aspect didn't work too well! -
I pretty much avoided anything complicated in Twine, but is that one of the in-built functions, or do you need to include it in its own passage somewhere? Does it work if you switch the style of your game (or whatever they're called, one of them is Jonah)? I found some stuff simply didn't work in both versions. Is it something you need to silently set to zero in your opening passage? Finally, if you pasted that code directly from your story, you've got a typo in "visited"! (A lot of the time when something didn't work for me, it was a simple typo or using the wron bracket or writing a command from memory and getting it wrong!)
