I would say it definitely holds up a lot better than a lot of other 80s movies! Also I would say it's a smart fun movie about two dumb people. I prefer the sequel though!

In case anyone hasn't been paying attention - it's broken/trolling. Could it in fact be Frog Fractions 3?
-
All your grammar is belong to us.

I also got 12. A bit annoying that it doesn't tell you which ones it thinks you got incorrect... EDIT: I did it again, only changing one question and still getting the same amount. So unless it gives a point for "the woman that works here" or "the woman who works here" then it's broken.

Why are they called Kotaku In Action and Tumblr In Action, anyway? I can't find anything via google without going to some shitty "Gamergate's History Of Gamergate" site...
-
Seriously, what the fuck does this even mean? Who are you, Ozzie Mandrill?

Well fuck me sideways - sorry Gormongous! In my defense, we were having an early family Christmas and I was very drunk at time of posting!

Really, the industry needs to just pick a single term for an old game getting re-done in any sense, then each redo can be understood per its individual choices on release.

A Thread For Me To Rag On Merus' Imprecise Use Of Certain Words

Sob. -
Okay, this one is pedantic: Begging the question is a debating/philosophical term which refers to a type of circular logic. It also sounds like a cool superlative of "asks the question", which is why it now gets misused by everyone. Gormongous please don't kill me!

Yes it was! We didn't go there together, though, did we? Do you know that pub separately? (I get the feeling you've told me this a million times while I've been drunk...) Synth - your art is fucking great, push it. YOLO.
-
Also, I'm going to pull Godwin's Law on this one:
-
This thread doesn't have to be pedantic! It's also didactic! I meant for it to be a place where we can spin off little semantic debates like this without destroying other threads. I certainly do use 'problematic' as a catch-all term, pretty much equivalent to 'troublesome''. I don't think it's bad in itself but yeah if no context is given to it then it could be used to obfuscate.

No, yoke isn't well known in Britain. But an Irish guy on the Size Five forums said, after we'd watched I've Got A Horse Outside: EDIT: though someone used it in a metaphorical spin-off of the oxen-related meaning - to shake off the patriarchy's oppressive yoke, for instance. -

Yeah, overly cutesy. -
Nah, don't want to clog the boards up with frivolous, pedantic threads!
-
The reading comprehension level on these forums is appalling.

Just to clarify:
-
I really can't think of an instance, no. Which I guess is why I couldn't work out if people were using it that way or not... EDIT: I actually can't even imagine this. Do you mean physically or mentally uncomfortable?

Oh wow, The Eric Andre Show is available to stream online for free AND doesn't tell me to piss off because I'm not American! I like it already!
-
Well, I guess I'll assume that people intend it both ways simultaneously, then. Ugh, so strange!
-
Oh, I don't think he was drunk. Apparently he also busks just because he loves performing so much.
