Right now Deponia is on a flash sale for 1,99. I had heaps of fun with it, so get it if you like adventures.

I have Hitman: Blood Money for Steam for one lucky forum regular! The Blood Money's all spent!
-
Fable 3 is fine, though nowhere near as fun and imaginitive as 2. SO! The Square Mystery Enix Box! It contained the following: Tomb Raider (wotta surprise!) Just Cause 2 Hitman: Blood Money (fuck off, not Absolution?) Dungeon Siege 3 So, all in all a decent package, with Tomb Raider the only one that jumps out as a real steal and on my 'going to play soon' list. No Final Fantasy in any case, neither 7, nor 8, nor 14, which is a bit of a shame. The thing is wholly western now, not a single Japanese game in the bunch. Remind me which company this was, again?

Did you buy the costume DLC, Tegan? It seemed like such a weird thing. I'll play the DLC case in a month or so, to whet my appetite for Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney.
-
If it's only one game, the odds are that someone who did buy the box will have it also and gift the Steam code somewhere on the internet.

One more day, people! One more day and then I, AND THE WORLD, find out what inside the Squeenix Mystery Box. SO EXCITED I JUST CANT HIDE IT

Oh yeah, I hadn't even touched upon the joy of having Prof Layton versus Phoenix Wright come out here on very short notice. The game apparently didn't do very well in Japan, but it should be a quality experience.

It's pretty double. They definitely have the best intentions here, there's no doubt that PAX wants to be seen as super inclusive and friendly. The booth is also more of an information distribution thing, I think, but the idea of have a special section where the weird people are well and truly safe, so come on down and have a safe convention, is a little, well, I dunno, icky. In the Netherlands we have a ton of anime conventions, even one that's geared at LBGT people, but on all of them there's just this massive 'anything goes' vibe. It has always felt like a place where you could totally let your guard down and show yourself no matter who you are. There was never, and I hope there won't ever be, the need for a special section to educate the public not to be bigots.

Oh come on, what do YOU know about Chibi Robo? You're probably not even a fan.

This is maybe my favorite episode yet. As a budding writer it's super interesting to hear his thoughts on the process and his weird excursion on writing while on cocaine. I'm only an hour in, saving the other for the final workday of the year tomorrow. Nice way to ring in the holidays!

I looked it up, it's nasty stuff.

It (GFWL) won't accept my registration code, which is the code Steam hands over. I tried logging into Xbox.com, but that doesn't work either. Verifying the installation is also bust, I made a Rockstar Social Club account, there's no reason why it shouldn't work.

OK, I took the plunge and bought Square Enix' Mystery Box. I'll be extraordinarily displeased if it turns out to be four copies of Just Cause 2. Just sayin'. On the 20th of December I'll report back on the finding!

It'd be a great experience to live abroad in an unfamiliar culture, hope you get it!

Then that's not an option, probably. Damn you, US, for being so large!

I moved back in with the folks last year, used it as a launching pad for getting affairs straight and my focus back, and then I got a job within a year. It's not the worst move to make! I'd hesitate to fold and do something you hate for cash, but there might be a road in-between.

Hang in there! What bold steps could you take to make your future happen? Always remember: hoo-ray for you!

I had maybe four or five standout experiences on the Wii. Not enough to warrant a console purchase in retrospect, but I'm still glad I had it to play the likes of Mario Galaxy, Fragile Dreams and Excite Truck.

I tried it a few more times, but I just can't go online. It's ridiculous.

Most famous Shakespeare comedy? Why, The Merchant of Venice of course. http://www.filmadeus.com/2013/10/the-naked-gun-david-zucker-1988.html

Since yesterday, Mikko Rautalahti's (writer at Remedy) blogpost on the recent atrocities has been making the rounds and stirring up quite some attention. It's a heartfelt indictment. http://funpastimes.com/?p=1911

These are still the prototype thingies, I believe.

I actually think Social Justice Warrior has a nice, upbeat ring to it, and could easily transform into a geuzennaam. SJW's for PEACE!

What can I say? I love... goooooold (It's for my molars though, I wouldn't take anything but porcelain for my front teeth. Gold is indeed more expensive (though not prohibitively so, it's I believe 70-80 euros more than procelain ones), but it's way sturdier than any alternative. Since I need maximum strength, it's the only way to go for me. Also pirates.)
