  1. THE DESIGN DOCUMENT oooooooo

Damn, I am a Gullible Fool!
  2. Oh god, Kingz: 'The Bounty of Caravaggio's Glorious Exile'

    That's what you're a threatrical bastard for.
  3. is THIS funny?

    Whine, whine, whine you time-bitch.
  4. I hate SLOW people

Wotajerk, Yuf. Wouldn't it be cool if your boss was David Brent though?
  5. The Giveaway 2: The Singles.

Sorry; first I have to play Custer's Revenge before I can get around to another woefully sexually implicit game.
  6. THE DESIGN DOCUMENT oooooooo

I estimate it didn't make Schafer a millionaire? Or did it? Wow, I wanna hear all about this! And how come Tim had an idea so, well, un-timmy as Halo?
  7. The Giveaway 2: The Singles.

As promised, I came around to playing the Killzone demo today, and a sad experience it was. Granted, it's miles above the crap that we usually produce in our country (*cough* Davilex *cough*), but I still lost interest really quickly. The two levels in the demo held no appeal at all. During play (which, being a first person shooter on a console, was tedious and unintuitive as usual) I was asking myself why the hell this game was made? Not a spark of lucid creativity was present. Now I didn't play much, because I lost interest after fifteen minutes, if not sooner, but it was enough to reconfirm that the best bit about the giveaway prize was the businesscard Still, nice that we managed to make something with production qualities such as this. Now all we need is our Outcast; the game that will put the Netherlands on the map.
  8. Now that would be badass indeed! I should have pointed out that I got the game for the Gamecube, not the PC (which indeed features many games for half the price of their console counterparts). 23 euro isn't expensive for Popsot on the Cube.
  9. This week I bought Prince of Persia: Sands of Time for 23 euro's (=cheap), and it's quite addicting. I was planning to play it a bit and then return to Metroid Prime which I was currently playing, but lo! Return I could not, and I found myself playing it some more. I really like the opening. I'm only just realising how important an opening is for a game. And PoP:SoT has a good one. It's also fun to play with a character that isn't a standard edgy hero, but rather an arrogant and spoiled little ambitious prince. Loving it. Already laughing at the rage-smoldering New Prince. He oughta call himself Tafkap, or create a symbol, just so everyone knows how serious he is exactly.
  10. Unity is no more

Not even that; but certainly an offbeat crowd-pleaser.
  11. is THIS funny?

Haha XD It inspires me too make something similar. Making fun of Ahnuld is superfunny.
  12. Sam and Max Download on Gamespot

I bet it's actually Daikatana. It's Romero's sneaky little way of making you download his stuff.
  13. Elder Scrolls IV

I don't think there'll be new races. The existing races are already very diverse and offer more than enough possibilities still to deepen the world of the Elder Scrolls. You may encounter new monsters and demons, but races; don't count on it.
  14. is THIS funny?

The wait is for Trep to make an appearance and direct this topic towards the sexually explicit innuendo addressed at Yufster.
  15. The Incredibles sequel

It may have made a point in the general direction, but the emphasis lay on the happy-family thing. Returning to the irritating non-Incredibles-related talk; yeah, I think you shouldn't strive for mediocrity. In the Netherlands it's still too much that you're head gets lobbed off if you stick it out of the cornfield too much, but that attitude is changing. It's a bit too extreme to be saying 'fuck everyone else', implying that you're going to not care about those that aren't as skilled or talented as you are. Remember, Spiderman doesn't hold back on showing his superpowers, but he knows that with great power comes great responsibility. Towards yourself, and the rest of the world, be they meek or great. Concluding our sermon.
  16. Help me with a problem!

I've been feeling creamy all day thinking about how I'm going to buy the two seasons of The Office on DVD next week. Ooh, and the Christmas Specials are out now too (here in the N-lands). Giddy! David Brent is fucking hilarious!
  17. The Incredibles sequel

I think I agree, but this is really another discussion. The Incredibles has no intention of making a statement about this in any way, so let's not defile it with bickering and flamewars
  18. The Giveaway 2: The Singles.

'Twas a demo of Killzone. The real prize being a signed Idle T businesscard of course. To my shame I have to say I've still not been in the position of playing the demo, a predicament that will end this weekend.
  19. The Giveaway 2: The Singles.

Oh it's just -Jaero said something about his review not being any 'good'. Ah well. Just keep them games coming, ya pepvarmint
  20. Gamespot's KOTOR II review

It amazes me to no extent how that Gamespot paragraph manages to tell you absolutely nothing.
  21. The Giveaway 2: The Singles.

Why would you worry about giving a negative review of the game? If that's your opinion, then so be it, right? I'll be looking forward to both the review and the next giveaway. Extrapolating from the current line of prizes, the next game can be anything ranging from Varmint Hunter 3 to any game ever produced by Davilex
  22. Top Gear

I have somewhat of a repuklsion to cars because two of the family are nuts about them. But still I really enjoy watching Top Gear when it's on (I never really look out for it, but I'll sit down to watch when my little brother sees it). I love the British sense of teasing sarcasm, their dry voices. I believe it's that Jeremy Whatshisname who hosts it. Top Gear is pure British comedy.
  23. The Incredibles sequel

Oh my God, Kester, I hadn't even considered what you said! Indeed, it would seem the Supers have taken back their place as the top of human evolution. But I think, even though it's not really pronounced, there certainly is the idea that these are responsible people, who have received these powers to guide and help the normal folks. It's not entirely correct to see them as normal humans like everyone else. They're more like omnipotent arbiters that try to blend in as well as they can. Leading back to the real moral of the story, being that you have to accept what you are, whether you're super or normal. Still vexed by the fact that Violet's coming of age meant she became a perky average girl -but no, I musn't think these things of brave sweet Violet.
  24. Arrr! Pirates! be mighty addictive

GOod to know that. Tell me, are any of the (if historically incorrect) famous Netherlandic seamen in the game? Piet Hein, or Admiraal de Ruijter?
  25. Yarr. It was fun in such serious games as "Redneck Rampage". Cold Dead Hands not required.
