If you combine this with some merchandise you could easily do it, I think. Of course, my webcomic isn't in the least bit attracting those numbers yet, and I'm still young and have ambitions in many directions (I mean, suppose I could make that much money out of Captain August, do you think I'd quit working? Hell no! I'm going to find work I like regardless of what it pays, and as long as it's fun I'm gonna do it). I like the idea though. I like that I now have a number that tells me when such a thing becomes feasible. And it's not even that high, when you look at how much people you can theoretically reach with a website. I like those odds.

A 3D screen? Like, a holographic image projected in your living room? Is that even feasible at this age? Cause I'll be damned if I wear crappy goggles every time I play games. I already have glasses, they won't mix easily. Sorry, I have high hopes for the Revolution, but I don't care about hightech stuff like that. I like the cordless controller though. Even though I never really minded it.

Eiji Aonuma, is het a Nintendo big shot? If so, he should be fired. If that quote shows what he thinks then he's full of bullshit.

Hey, if he did the MI1 comic, then I do know him

Oh come on, enough with the Paco Vink now. He is now a taboo in this topic

10 Euros? Won't there be like, enormous tax fees on the airport? I'd be surprised if it cost you less than 80 euros in the end. Obviously, I could get to London for 16 euros or something. The trainticket would be more expensive. But what you pay is not what it says in the advertisements of cheap flights. Haha, Ron is so getting crowded by a mob when he sets foot on England! He's going to rue the day he was BORN -errr...

Notwithstanding the fact that I'm really pleased that I gave Mr. Paco Vink -who is actually Kingzjester- some breathingroom in this topic, I'd still like to hear some comments on my aquarelled dwarf. But now I'm curious though. WHo is this Paco Vink? Is my drawing style similar to his? Website please!

I think Marek may actually have a plan involving boats, magnets, tearing California off the US coast and eventually getting Ron into the Netherlands. Yeah.

I'm in a guild too, and even though I'm still very much a solo-er, I find a lot of comfort and aid in the guild. It really helps the game if you have a steady group of people you can ask to join you, or you can arbitrarily talk to. Otherwise, WoW can be a lonely place. I had a period a month or so ago where I really didn't care about WoW anymore, but It's been going well now for a while, because I've shifted my reasons to play the game: I'm now doing it to see the entire world and suck up all those amazing landscapes. The rest is complementary

Haha, those crazy Brits.

I like playing World of Warcraft, when I'm not doing anything, you know, else. Like working, drawing or visiting my girlfriend. That makes me an abberation. I'm known to have entire midweeks without playing, or even wanting to desperately. I guess that just makes me a sucker for paying a lot for so little playing time.

Hey, leave us Gamecube owners alone. This is one of the few titles we still get that has the world drooling over us, instead of vice versa. I don't mind the visual style, which looks nice and watercoloury. I don't mind that the gameplay is more of the same, because 5 years after it's release I played Ocarina for the first time and the dungeon-design still amazed me. What I would mind is if they'd still have a world that, albeit bigger, would be just as shallow as every Zelda world has been up to now. You know, people only apathetically saying just one sentence and repeating it, no real interesting character-interaction... Windwaker had two or three instances where an NPC asked you something and you were presented with a choice. You had to pick the right one to proceed. I'd like to see some dialogue trees and well written dialogue. That'd make the whole Zelda world SO much more interesting. Now it always feels so hollow.

Why? To me the whole movie was like an Electric Six song (which makes me laugh out loud all the time too); a knowing display of parodious bashing through pop culture and Hollywood clichés. Well I guess if you're not into dolls
-
I just saw Team America and my tummy still hurts. The first half hour I was in stitches just because of the abnormality of those dolls moving in all their clumisness and stunted fashion. The rest of the movie was carried splendidly by the solid humour and surprising depth. I never knew I could laugh so hard at a doll vomiting minutes long on screen.

Haha, Hollywood thinks everyone is so stupid, while they're the biggest airheads themselves =)

I've made another animation for that crazy Dutch quizshow again (and bought a ridiculous amount of DVD's and games with the budget), just like last time when I treated you to sweaty half-naked Abraham Lincolns plowing in the field. This time it's something different altogether, featuring PIRATES! It's a parody on that boardgame where you have to surgically operate some quivering dude, I don't know how it's called in English. Dokter Bibber, in Dutch. You'll see. Put it together in one weekend. http://www.captainaugust.com/piraatjebibber_small.mov (41 MB) (still uploading, if it doesn't work check back in ten minutes)

Boondock Saints is so awesome. Willem Dafoe in drag! How can any sane man resist? But honestly, it's great. Didn't get too much attention though. Even though it starred YOUNG INDIANA JONES~!~.

Fruit smoothie That sounds so delicious. I just ate some vanilla pudding with whipped cream mashed through. Tasted fat. Put my hunger down though.

I heard people talk about this legendary movie a while ago! But the link doesn't seem to work with me! Arg!

Stevan helped create the Captain August-website and we all know Tim is an in-the-closet August fanboy. The fact that I am not in the credits then is only more proof that Schafer has set his mind to covering up his addiction. Yeah.
-
Pray ask what you actually did to appear in the credits? I can get an idea for all the testers, and yufster and kingz have The Church of course. But the rest? They do counseling or something?
-
But I hate 3D Transformers. Always have. They just don't have the character of their ill-animated 2D counterparts. And if they don't use the correct voices, OR go for 'new designs' in any way, I'm outta here.
-
Oh hush you lucky few, drowning in a sea of names! Why, half the world is in those credits! ... except me
-
That rings true. But if I'd buy one now and didn't get an HD-tv along with it I'd feel hugely cheated. That's your regular catch-22 there. Didn't think of that, did you Micro$$oft?
