You're acquitted of your crimes, just like Michael.

Suspicious of European products eh? THIS MEANS WAR. Seriously. Choose thine weapon.

I figured as much when I strode past an entire isle of Knorr products when I went to the German supermarket just now. Still, it sounds like an awkward name in English. Hopefully Maggi will shy away from that market, or I don't know what travesty the people will make of its pronunciation.

Now there's something to Already Hate Your Game for. Omaha beach. If people still dare to bring out some completely redundant WWII shooter nowadays I say fie to them.

I have a nice shirt-story that happened just now for real. I was biking my way to the office on German streets (seeing as how I live in Germany right now) and wearing one of my favourites: a redder than red Incredibles T-shirt that I got on my previous job at Mediamarkt for promotional uses. I know, that makes me the ultimate commercial slut, but the tee is just too nice. It has the Incredibles logo on the front and a 'now on DVD!' below it. All very nice with oranges and yellows. Gorgeous. Anyway. I ride my fahrrad down the road and am suddenly pulled over by a car. In it is a middleaged man of some expansive width, and he asks me where he could buy the shirt. I began stumbling in my best German that it was promotional and not for sale, and he should try Ebay (surely they know Ebay in Germany). So he drives off and all of a sudden I feel completely happy. With my shirt, and the world. Also, it was really sunny and warm, and I wore a touristy blanc fisherman's hat that I bought in Spain when I was visiting Jaf. So, that's about it. I'm sure Yufster could tell it a million times funnier.

What the hell is Knorr doing outside of the Netherlands? I thought that was a national product. Damn you Knorr. And maybe I'll go to the con some day... when I'm invited to join a panel or something

Irish is damn hard to master. I've been studying Bernard from the excellent comedyshow Black Books for a while now but there's just no simulating that raging, drunken, haphazard blurting of Irish he does.

I had to laugh out loud with that one, except that I was at the office and people started asking me if everything was alright.
-
Wouldn't settle for anything less.

Keep it coming OK I confess; I had Mark Hamill come in and dub me.

Woohoo, I sound like Rutger Hauer!

I find clowns to be great for use in any of my projects. I think just like with explosions, anything gets better if it involves clowns. Doesn't mean they're not fucking disturbing.
-
Disturbing. I think it's a good step. Still dislike the clown though. And McDonalds. And the clown.

Read something in Edge about this. They could certainly pull off a nice scenario-based game I think. At least it'll be something different (possibly).

Parenting, schools, bullys, homework and results - do video games affect it?
Roderick replied to monturner's topic in Video Gaming
Just thinking about that scene again makes me laugh. Why is Bill Murray a comic genius? -
An actual new 2D Mario. That's a sight for sore thumbs. Hopefully, the DS finally gets its killer app (first one mentioning Nintendogs gets it).

The official How Would You Seduce Yufster? thread!
Roderick replied to Intrepid Homoludens's topic in Idle Banter
Hey wait a tick, why would we have to go through trouble to seduce Yufster? What has she EVER done for us!! -
There are female jedi in the movie. The blue twilek that gets killed by the clone troopers, I believe.

Haha, this is so hilarious. I just looked at the site here at work. Not to be viewed with the boss around? I'm tempted to call him and show him. He'll probably have a laugh as well.

Didn't Scott Campbell also do a TPB called Blue Moon? I loved the artwork but I had NO idea what the hell it was about. So it meant about err, nothing for me. It's great if you look at it as just a neat artbook though. Great anatomy, poses.

Hehe, I still love the movie for what it is

I saw the DVD of it in stores and was intruiged by it. Hope I'll see it one day. I saw Hellboy. Liked it, especially the beginning and the ending. THe middle of the movie lacks a little bit pace and interesting stuff (it's basically a big scoobydoo-chase with a monster that shouldn't have been so prominent), but the beginning of Hellboy redeems every single fucking thing. Superbly over the top and cinematographically beautiful. Also liked this: Broom (telling about the history of the Bureau): ,,In 1958, the cold war comes to an end with the death of Adolf Hitler." Myers: ,,1945 you mean... Hitler died in '45." Broom (sniggering): ,,Did he now?"

There were tons of those. The best obviously from the hands of Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone. I'm a big fan. Especially the recent editions are a gift from the heavens. They have little random dice combo's printed at the bottom of the page so you don't have to roll anymore. You just flip. Oh I love those things. Favourite ones: Creature of Havoc (Jackson), City of Thieves (Livingstone), Citadel of Chaos (Jackson I believe).

Related, every months someone else finds his way to Captain August by typing in "sexbag". I used that word once in one of the earlier rants.

You've got to hand it to George, the way he singlehandedly annulled the best moment in sci-fi history which he himself created.
