We are ALL Idle Thumbs.
-
I feel that in a year or two, Idle T will be worth 850M as well. Or, 14M, putting them in the Crazy Frog league.
-
Pity. The trailer seemed pretty neat. I'll still be seeing this, it should be a nice zombieromp.

Beloved Uwe Boll to start his next directing adventure in July
Roderick replied to Kolzig's topic in Movies & Television
His name is 'Kierdorf' by the way, and he's a really nice guy. He's not in the office today. -
I think I've got a limpy walk myself. I often skip around on the street as well. I don't care if I make an arse out of myself, because the ground can be such a scary place sometimes! Why, I couldn't describe what would happen if I didn't get my corpse off the earth four times in a row... TERRIBLE things!! I sometimes walk straight, when I'm not carrying a big bag that makes me lurch to one side. I also like to march now and then, especially here in Germany.

Brilliant live Super Mario World cover, and other game remix/performance discussion!

Wow, this soundtrack makes me extremely happy! Thanks Jake The songs that strike a chord with me: Titlescreen, Vanilla Dome, p-block special do thema. That last one actually has remixed lyrics of the old Super Mario Brothers show. Highly disturbing! -
LeChimp: change your avatar, it's disturbing. And I'm the animated clown-guy, so that's saying something. The music was from Lola Rennt. I'm puzzled. Is this a pitch? For a movie? They can't be serious. And then taking drawings from Sin City to visualize it? That seems unlikely. My guess is that it's a homeproject from enthusiastic young filmmakers who want to get their film done.

More videogame movie news! Buffy is Alice!

Wait... your broccoli is getting up again. That's not the idea. -
You can choose? That takes some of the fun out of it.

I'd recommend: complain your ass off and convince them that you NEED that DVD to keep on living.

Oh I've heard nothing but really good things about Kirby, so it's not the reviews. I guess it's just that I still have to be sold on the touchscreen thing. I'll certainly try out Kirby and hope for the best. Meteos, there's another one. What is it? A Tetris/Arcanoid thingy? Hah, it's all so out there that I have to have time to adjust
-
I've been hearing more often that the new Kirby is awesome. Isn't it too gimmicky? I'm still afraid of that. I don't have high hopes for Yoshi's tilt and tumble and stilt and somesuch. It feels rushed and I don't like the graphic portraying. Isn't Yoshi a 3D render? Yuck.

Yufster, why have you taken over Spaff's body? What is this for devilry?

I'm too poor to buy Tim's love I'm going to garrote myself now.

That's the best reason I ever heard for getting a PDA.

This week my DVD of Bubba Ho-Tep came in and I watched it. I was pretty much what I expected: nothing spectacular, but a small, slow movie about Bruce Campbell as a retired Elvis duking it out with an Egyptian mummy come alive. COuld have been more over the top, but this was nicely adequate. With Bruce Campbell himself as Ultimate Redeeming Feature. The Chin. The King.

I think DDR is one of the most compelling reasons ever to start exercising. I've been tempted multiple times to buy a mat to do it myself, always to be frightened off by the prospect of buying crappy quality ones that wouldn't work, lack of space and high cost of the best equipment.

This animation is a weird one. More like a, well... don't know what it is. If you're interested: it involves clowns and possible madmen. And my facial features. Birth of a Clown (50 MB)
-
Originally, the project was actually named Death of a Clown. And in it's original draft it was more of a cinematic movie about clown-clochards hiding in alleys in a totalitarian city, lamenting their fate. And in the final act (it had acts) there would be white vans to take them all in a giant clown-razzia. Back then, the idea of a clown-razzia made me laugh. But it was too big a project for the allotted time, so I completely changed it. And then it kind of struck me that it wasn't about the death of a clown anymore, but his birth. Don't worry though. There will be an unofficial sequel to this, no matter the form, and it'll be called Death of a Clown. It just won't be here for another ten years, give or take a few. Be patient.

Yeah, it's 100% me, except for the music which comes from the really nice movie Willard. I've always been into doing voices so faking an accent is no big deal. I didn't know Marek had a case of bad Dutch accent creeping into his English. Tell me about Voot.

Everything is better with explosions.

Well actually, despite the fact Mediamarkt is pretty mainstream and has the image of being a supermarket, there's quite some effort taken to ensure that the clerks have a thourough knowledge of things.
-
Amazing that they (all of them except the Gamestop store) let people who don't know a thing about what they're selling, sell them. Okay maybe the last one was knowledgeable, but certainly not customer friendly. I've never really talked to a clerk about games. I'm one of those new Prosumer bastards that tends to be better informed than the clerks. I do talk to the guys of the gamedept. of the store I worked (at the DVD-dept), but those were friends. And they knew what they were talking about, too.

By the way, a point of interest: the canister of laughing gas he's addicted to says 'Smilex'. It had to be Smilex.

In the Netherlands, we can't pronounce it. We just put up this face: , and everyone knows what you mean.
