Okay, for a minute there, I read GAMING GLOVE instead of powerglove. You gotta love the glove

They cancelled SESAMSTRAAT?! Those idiots! We had a lecture on school by some of the people from RVU and VPRO, telling them their future plans. Stuff like 3voor12 and specialized internet-channels. They were going for the future, but now there'll only be crap like Talpa.

I dreamt that Yufster and Spaff had become one, indistinguishable entity with wreathing, throbbing growths of wildflesh all over their mutated body.

Is there destruction of Dutch public television going on? I've been away for one stinking month and already everything's crumbling in my absence! Tell me! Or is it the normal general malaise that most people are just too ignorant to understand that public television offers the only things that are worthwhile enough to put on the tv sometimes?

Oh come on, it's the typical case of two people who can't stand each other having a secret flirting relationship and ending in a passionate relationship tailed by an unbreakable marriage. It's a classic.

Last night, I dreamt about METEOS. I haven't even PLAYED the damn game and already it's gripping me with its Tetris-like influence. Damn you Salazaaaar!!

I don't live in North America, but fortunately there's this thing called importing. And fortunately, the DS will have none of that "regions" BULLSHIT. So, yeah =D

Shit, I didn't know the Floaty Pen would be so awesome, so I bought I poster instead. Also good, but I'm just saying: that's one chique pen.

I can vouch for the awesomeness of the brownies.

Anyone any particular opinions on whether to vote yes or no at the Dutch referendum for a unified European civil law June 1st? Hell knows there's ferocious campaigning here at the moment, and most of them are trying to strike fear into the public and are therefore instantly unsympathetic. Is this topic entirely misplaced? Does anyone care?

Even though I'm all no-alcahol, drunken whims are the best. Or, teh win.

Does this one feature showerscenes with burly men wearing naught but towels?

I'm curious too, but I doubt they'll speak up about their big plans =) I'm not a programmer myself, but I know one. I'll have him take a look at this.

Is it levelheaded? I don't really know (I'm not that great a politician). It sounds like a reasonable analysis. The writer certainly seems to probe the Dutch feelings well. What say you?

Any decent space shooters out there recently?
Roderick replied to Tanukitsune's topic in Video Gaming
Yeah. Edge did an entire article about it once. There's some creativity going on in that scene. -
Laughing Third When two dogs engage in mortal combat over the same bone, the third walks away with it I love translating proverbs in a convoluted fashion.

Beloved Uwe Boll to start his next directing adventure in July
Roderick replied to Kolzig's topic in Movies & Television
This is great! So the movie will AND be about revenge and drivenness, AND feature Emotioneering! I can't believe how awesome this will be! -
I never caredmuch for King Kong, even disliked the stupid big ape. I'm still highly doubtful about whether I like it, though I wouldn't question Peter Jacksons skill in making it.

and another game going to the silver screen
Roderick replied to ysbreker's topic in Movies & Television
Seems to me there's already a Max Payne movie, and it's called Sin City. They could make a nice noir flick out of it, if they use the comic style of it. I hope they'll be really careful with bullet time though. -
(Oh yeah, I also forgot how motherf**king expensive Europe is. I always look at America and marvel at how cheap you can get your stuff there.) I'm with Chris. I buy a handful of games each year that I know will be awesome. Nowadays I don't even pirate anymore, because I've got so little time to game that I have enough superb quality games lying for me to occupy myself all the time. Also, I was just thinking about BG&E again a few days ago and pondering about how that game was one of the best I ever played and that I poop on all the gamemags and """"journalists"""" that said that it was an average Zelda clone. How could they be so blind to the abundance of love poured in it? How did they not understand that BG&E succeeded where Zelda ever failed: narrative depth? Idiots.

I agree with Dingo, I want Giftpia more than I want Chibi Robo. I want original Japanese RPG's that don't feature that horrible random-battles system.
