Haha, that's a great prank =D Never heard it before, so it must be pretty unique.

  3. Birthday

    Congratu-diddly-ations Tim!
  4. Seen any good movies lately?

I liked Casshern, but its tiring display of visual switches sometimes becomes bothersome (because they're completely pointless at times and seem to change in mid-scene, which disorients you) and the storytelling can be fuzzy and erratic. But I found enough handles in the film that made me like it, even if the overall feeling is a clumsy one.
  5. Congrats to Chris!

Way to go, Chris Remo! Don't stop littering the Thumb with eXtreme poses. Should I start reading The Shack now?
  6. Seen any good movies lately?

I went to a press screening of Casshern half a year ago Nice movie. Yesterday I saw Mists of Avalon and liked it. Here's how it rates to other Arthurian movies I've seen: Excalibur: 7 First Knight: 9 (whether zou like Richard Gere or not, Sean is awesome and the music is excellent) The Sword in the Stone (animated Bluth cartoon I believe?): 5 King Arthur (the Bruckheimer fest): 7,5 MISTS OF AVALON: 9 I totally liked it.
  7. Looks like you got your wish...

HAHA! I've got your ulterior motive right there. The guy sucks at games and harbours a grudge.
  8. Gabe Newell bashes next gen consoles

    EVERYTHING is better with explosions.
  9. Seen any good movies lately?

I like Hudson Hawk by the way. Granted, it's not entirely awesome, but it does a lot of things right. Doesn't compare well to Naked Gun though =) Yeah, they sure did a hell of a job on Mickey Rourke. The one thing I, wait, lemme put this in spoilers-
  10. Looks like you got your wish...

    That is awesome
  11. Seen any good movies lately?

The whole brilliance of Watchmen is in its ending!
  12. Seen any good movies lately?

Sin City was totally awesome, especially That Yellow Bastard with Bruce Willis. But I still stand by my opinion that those stories work best as graphic novels.
  13. woohoo!

That will do it for me as well I hope it'll be so awesome I can't resist regardless of the price.
  14. woohoo!

Kelli is the artist who makes them? I read her website but I didn't remember the name...
  15. woohoo!

Hmm, I wonder what the deal is. Was it a hoax, or still underway?
  16. Rumours that Doom Movie could be good!!

Haha, Orgazmo was juvenile fun. I liked it.
  17. Serenity/Firefly

I like it out of pity.
  18. Wahoo! =D Wolfgang just brought me the DVD-box of season 2 of Farscape. Since this is a scifi topic ^_~ God, I love Farscape.
  19. I don't have bittorrent or anything. Never seen it before? What about Firefly, which arguably premiered the style? Even the new Starwars films, from Episode 2 on, used that style now and then (at least, the clone battle at the end of 2 had it). It's like the graphic schwung of the day. But, like I said, I really like it. BG gets it right, as does Firefly. No sound in space either.
  20. I happened to see the DVD of the pilot episode (three hours I believe) of this new Battlestar Gallactica, and I enjoyed it to satisfying extent. I highly prefer this, indeed characterdriven and political, version of BGwithoutE to the old, laughable, horrible series. And again, a series that succesfully manages that 'documentary' style of directing during space sequences, with zooms and focussing etc. I like that, though it's hardly novel anymore.
  21. Serenity/Firefly

    That trailer rawks!
  22. "Jet Set" Tony Hawk DS

This looks fine and distinct. I'm not the target audience because it'll be a nippy day when I buy a[n extreme] sportsgame, but I'll say this: distinct.
  23. Double Fine Action News

Don't you have to get some expensive DS development kits before you can even make a game? I believe there are serious extra charges when making one of those that might put a developer off of doing only one game for it. But I could be completely mistaken.
