It's easy to understand what happens here: it's a typical anti-reaction to the positive hype surrounding Spore. This sort of thing is very common. It's forgivable, unless you starting posting it like a journalistic truth, in which case you are a tosser. I've got my own pet peeves through an anti-hype-reaction as well on for instance Final Fantasy 7. I'll not miss a chance to bash it, but at least I've got the selfawareness to understand I'm being a tosser at those times

Well, I have heard that pouring your sperm into her tea is the best way to attract her. Seems like a win.

I wouldn't even dislike having the entire game revolving around revolving around planetoids The thing is, it's basically the ultimate resolution of the camera-problem: you can just have it focus on the core of the planet and have a perfect overview. Amazing! So yes, I'm both excited and... what was the other one again? Intruiged by it. That said, all opinion is reserved until I've played it in a few weeks time from now.

There actually isn't a Zelda game that didn't have both good and bad points, in my opinion. When we're talking about story and setting, Majora's Mask was way superior to all the others, but I never finished it due to its ridiculous difficulty spikes. Ocarina got it a little better, but that didn't have the depth of Majora. Windwaker I really liked, but that one had the triforce hunt that was tedious (though not as horrible as people claimed, sailing is fun!). A Link to the Past then was quite good gameplay-wise, but perhaps a bit vanilla when it came to setting and story (that's to be expected, but there you have it).

I just now saw the 300 trailer. I saw a featurette earlier but it seemed like a gay wizard-movie then. When not cinematigraphically shot; naked men wearing capes can easily do that. Nevertheless, the trailer was awesome. This is exactly like Sin City. Another fine Frank Miller tale of larger than life men in larger than life battles and situations. Not too much dialogue, but all geared towards making you understand that these people kick ass. I love it.

Takes away a bit of the funny, but still... good story. Didn't think it that farfetched though.

...With something bordering on spam, but due to my intimate relationship with Idle Thumbs something that will hopefully not end honourlessly in the spamgraveyard above. Without further ado:

I accidentally stumbled upon an orchestral version of the score from Phoenix Wright that Capcom made somewhere in the history of our world. I know I'm being terribly illegal with this and everything, but smeg it. It's awesome! Hearing all those courtroom tunes with trumpets and violins;

Yeah. He usually doesn't give a hoot about on- or off-topic.

Wow, apparrently I was more up to date with this than I realized. I wondered why it hadn't been mentioned here already!
-
Nope. Why would I string you up like that? I spoke of trumpets, man!

I'd show up in a suit, but that's because I wear those things casually anyway To school, to parties, when I feel like it... suits rock.

Hell yes! The openingshot in Lost in Translation shows the true Johansson.

Haha, I totally misunderstood the question. I was thinking about an interview-interview. The one where you ask questions to someone which you then proceed to never publish on your website, ever. Because you hate new content.

I'm at page 2 and already it's unbelievable =) -
No expert either, but maybe it depends on your rapport with the person and how the interview went. If the industry is so casual as you say, it can't really hurt and could be considered a courtesy that offends no one.

If I can't have my Chrono Trigger grumpiness will be me.

This also conclusively proves that it's not the Brits who are the palest in the world, it's the Dutch.

I managed to guess a whole lot by inference and by being able to tell which of the answers weren't the right one. I think this test tells you only what bits of trivia you happen to know, even if it is about game designers.

Let's not ridicule the idea for a console RTS just yet. After all, Halo's main claim to fame is bringing the FPS with success to consoles. They have the benefit of the doubt. Of course there have been attempts in the past, from simple conversions of C&C and Starcraft to specifically designed games such as Goblin Commander. None of which were very playable. I don't know why I bother either because I don't care about Halo at all and think it has poor visual design

I got at least 150 hours of play out of Morrowind and I can see myself returning there any day for more. I got a rough 15 hours of play out of Oblivion after finishing the main quest, then never looked at it again.

You know this already, Miffy, but it's a good opening to redirect people's attention to my thoughts on The White Knight.
