Moos, are you certain I need a transformer instead of a converter? Cause my editor explicitly said converter. Is it about Volts? Because America uses 120V and Europe 220V I believe. Not sure though. But what would happen with just a converter?
-
Cause if I played it instead of reviewing it, my editor wouldn't give me moneys.
-
Yeah, tomorrow I'm buying a good one and maybe complain a bit. I'm plenty pissed at the moment because I've got a huge deadline breathing down my neck and I need to start playing. The thread's all yours again.

I'm gonna hijack this thread: Today I got my Wii to review Zelda. I buy a converter to be able to supply it with power, but the thing was so goddamn cheap it blew up within a minute and now I'm stuck without being able to play on the Wii. I hope I didn't blow up the Wii itself, but just the cheap motherfucking converter. Goddamnit, why don't these things just function!

Today, the Netherlands decide how this country will shape up over the coming four years. Yes, Election-Day! Will we finally get a left-wing cabinet to right the wrongs of our hardening society? Or will the Forces of Evil yet again prevail and after over 20 years of right-wing rule continue their mad bid for privatisation and leading us into ever-escalating wars? Tonight, we will know! Who are you voting for? I'm going outside again today in my nice red SP (Socialist Party) sweater, hopefully getting them some more airtime.

Alright, true. That wasn't a very educated comment of me. Suffice it to say I disagree vehemently with a lot of the things Wilders says. Or maybe, even more with how he says it.
-
It's disturbing that Wilder got so much seats because it's really the same sort of thing that Fortuyn said and did and a lot of good that has brought us. Also, his arguments are easy to counter and see through. I think it's actually pretty cool that the Party for Animals has won two seats. Note that a lot of people who voted for them, I think, were people who weren't planning on voting, disappointed with politics, and then decided to go for the animals. I'm happy for them. On a macro scale; the left wing has stolen about 9 seats from the right wing, which is a great accomplishment in the first place!

Gentlemen, the people have spoken. All the current governmental parties have lost seats and the SP has come to a massive 26, making them the third biggest party in the land! Huzzah! Now let's hope the formations will go such that the SP gets a part in the government, and that the cabinet won't fall again due to difficult power rearrangements and we'll have to vote again in a month.

I agree with Marek; D66 is the way to go if you're right but you don't want to be associated with the a-social policies of our current government. Pechtold is a very agreeable man and the party seems one of nuance and fairness.

Ohh man, VideoGaiden is GOODDDD. A truly absurd amount of sketches and whatnot compared to how many games are handled, but fuck it, it's great. I love how the bigger budget translates itself into extremely smooth camera movements and top notch lighting.

It seems Google's takeover was all for the worse The last time I clicked it was months ago and then it still worked.
-
I figured that because, you know, we're not that good So, where can I get me some Videogaiden on the internet anyhow? I can't locate it on the Consolevania homepage.
-
I don't watch Videogaiden (it's on the internet also, yesno?), but I'd be mighty, mighty surprised if they weren't actually talking about the Nintendo-magazine from the UK which was recently unfortunately renamed to NGamer. creating some confusion.

I never get the "I could care less". Shouldn't it be 'I couldn't care less'? As in, you are already at the bottom of not-caring? When you say the former, it sounds like there's still some room for an even worse opinion, which really isn't what you're trying to say. Maybe this is one of those things that got twisted by slang?
-
Hurray for you! If everything goes right, I'll have a Wii next week, and Twilight Princess, 'cause I have to write the cover-article for the [N]Gamer

LOPcagney, are you a real adventurer? The answer is right where you found the quote. Isn't there a link somewhere in there?

Fascinating as ever. At the same time the pinnacle of Western decadence... but fascinating.
-
And all just for a console that at the moment only has mediocre launch games and for the coming years will have games that have no graphical difference with the 360 whatsoever due to developer multifunctionality. Nice.

Tiger-print stiletto's? What the fuck?

I've read Lord of the Clans. It was an OK book, but most of the Warcraft novels are pretty generic pulp. The story's a bit disappointing, epic-wise.
-
But at the same time I'm thinking: meh. The characters looked very stocky and non-dynamic, and Deathwing smoking from a huge waterpipe/bong kind of construction? Nahh. In the end I think it would have been weird. Killer voice acting though. You just can't go wrong with Tony Jay, rest his soul.

Ah right. I'm in the second case now, and I'm beginning to wonder whether Phoenix Wright can pull off being challenging without become downright obscure and illogical. Not that I'm having such a hard time, but I'm just wondering out loud.
-
I've noticed that Phoenix Wright 2 has some more spelling errors than the first one. By no means severe, and the writing is still top notch, but it seems like a few small lapses in polishing.
