I just came back and NO ONE HAD CARDS. It was all Magic this Magic that, but Magic cards don't have Pokémon on them goddammit. Now how am I supposed to trade my doubles?
-
I've the first one on mp3 and the Jazz version seems cool too. I'd like to get the CD's, but where do I get them, and why are they most likely so expensive?

Ohh man yeah, I have that episode aboard the St. Anne on DVD. Team Rocket is awesome in the first season. Fun stuff. Also, I started arranging all my Pokemon cards finally, putting them in a neat binder. And I discover I'm having a blast going through all those cards again, so tonight I'm heading to the local game shoppe to trade some doubles for ones I don't have yet. Awesome. I'll be like a pead, standing among young kids with cards 'trading' with them. They'll probably outsmart me.

What is this for crazy site?

I'm going to be getting Pearl, because it has Usohachi, which is a little treedude that steals food and always lies and sweats. Pretty neat. Also, Diamond has a pokemon HORSE on the cover, which is just plain wrong.

This is cheering up my monday morning.

I think that's a matter of taste. In my opinion there's a completely different flavour and accent to the way he says it. In that way, it IS a bit more like SACREBLUE!

Hahaha, this is hilarious! See the current UK:R update.

This weekend I saw 300 and Hot Fuzz. Both were made of awesome. Hot Fuzz is a worthy successor of Shaun of the Dead, and 300 of Sin City.
-
Having played both games in English, it is my plan to play the first one in French (my PW2 is the Japanese version, which would complicate things too severely). It'll be an awesome way to keep my French alive and possibly even upgrade it. And there's a certain awesomeness with which Phoenix says objection! in French

Now that's a clear coercive move.

Oops, better post.

If it ain't a Phoenix Wright animated series (or even live-action series, which would actually be even more awesome), I'm not interested.

Woohoo, Hot Fuzz is out in the Netherlands today. Now to find a gap in my agenda to watch it, and 300.

Multiplayer sandbox... now there's a next-gen idea. Why hasn't there been a multiplayer in GTA, by the way? I never realised it anyway.

Midtown Madness kicked ass, and that was just the driving part of GTA and without the violence! It goes to show that the main attraction isn't killing people, but messing around in a city with a car.

I still hope there'll be a DS budget line introduced sooner or later. That said, I've seen and bought many good DS deals. Obviously, none of them first-party titles.

I don't know; but isn't New York constructed by the terribly boring way of straight streets versus straight avenues? I'd rather take an imaginary city that has all sorts of interesting lanes and curves and hills and whatnots, with molasses creeping up the sidewalks, tumbleweed blowing through alleys and... many more fantastic things!

Not for full price. I'd pay, say, about 20 Euros for it. I would have been a lot more positive if it had had more levels, but now there are only ten and that's a bit on the meagre side. That said, fun is to be had with the game, and there are some nice challenges and outrageous bosses. But it's definitely a mediocre Nintendo titel that lacks the polish that we usually associate with Nintendo.

I've finished Wario: Master of Disguise, and it's a reasonable game. It has its flaws; like so-so touch screen detection, too little content and horrible mini-games, but it's not unplayable. Nice as a diversion, but far from the epic return to form that I expected of a DS Wario platformer. A remake of Warioland, that would be super.

I believe you travelled to a whole range of cities in the first game, complete with hilarious intros by various over-the-top characters. But whatever, nobody cares about that Liberty City in IV looks fine. Also, is anyone tantalised by the idea of there being a table tennis minigame in there? Maybe a slimmed-down version as a demo for the real game? Same engine, and they've got the code... Would be awesome.

I think it's too much to ask that there are all kinds of things in it that are decidedly not what Rockstar want with GTA, but I think it's safe to say there's a high probability that they're trying out some new things. More subtle things. Which is always to be lauded, lest the game becomes just a remake from the earlier ones. And the thought has circulated that it might be a middle-Eastern guy, which would be GTA again laying a finger on the pulse of contemporary American issues. Though I'd prefer it to be a Russian guy, because it opens up more perspective for change; what with Russians being really cool and easy-going, as opposed to all the hotheads like CJ. *Bang!* ,,Welcome to San Andreas! I'm CJ!"
-
I was hoping for 1. a unique and new city, and 2. a female protagonist. Having said that, I liked the trailer. I like how the Russian guy has something tragic. I see plenty of openings for cool stories in there. The way they set everything up (rural Russian dude in a city where he doesn't understand life yet), has promising opportunities to have a neat narrative. The one thing I hope is that they don't make him into another pathetic thug, but that he retains that distant aloofness. I didn't very much like the GTA protagonists, hopefully this is one different. As for the city, it looks pretty nice. As long as there's enough diversity and interesting layouts, it'll be fine.

It's a shit comment anyway, because the 360 is offering kids' games as well, just as much as the Wii offers mature experiences.
