The game looks like it could be very fun, but the guy being interviewed is obnoxious and makes it sound like it'll be self-indulgent pap. I wouldn't hold too much value to the guy.

He had me at 'Dear Mr. Sir'.

An obvious CG trailer, but fun nonetheless. Are we to gather from the desert environment that there's no more (or only) waterbased exploring, but more diverse trappings? I look forward to playing this in French, like I played the first game. I have to say, the old 'low' poly version (because I actually thought it a highly detailed character already) of Pey'j had more character than this realistic version. But let's postpone judgement and celebrate this momentous occasion!

I now actually have three clones of the same hard drive. A fire would have to swallow the entire city section before I lose everything. Once bitten!

Lest we forget! A toast!

Not for 3D Realms standards, it isn't!

May not be chubby enough, but I'm certainly small and I can put up a wicked phony French accent. Honestly, I'm in it for the coat tails. Hey Napoleon! Stop riding my coat tails. Joker? I'll look into it
-
Don't tempt me, Frodo! I love his garments... might be worth looking into. Though my next costume will be an honest-to-god Napoleon outfit. Joker is supremely sexy and appealing though. Decisions, decisions! I'm gonna wear these socks to the premiere of course
-
I'm quite insane of course, but I just bought these socks online. Couldn't resist, because they're awesome!

Well colour me Mr. Bernard Excitey-pants! Already sort of guessed this, of course. But more news is always good.

This city deserves a better class of criminal... and I'm gonna give it to 'em. Third Dark Knight trailer. I am getting so hyped for this thing, I can't resist it. I just can't. And the movie warrants it; Nolan has made nothing but brilliant things in the last few years; and it's obvious that Heath Ledger's performance is going to be nothing less than stellar. The 18th of July will be an exciting day! http://www.whysoserious.com/happytrails/trailer.htm

Worms is a pretty awful series in that regard because somehow they manage to produce new versions that have less items and options in them. As far as I'm concerned, Worms Armageddon (that the third title ever) is still the best one among them. Though Worms Open Warfare 2 on the DS last year was surprisingly good!

This thread is so awesome, I laugh every time I see the title.

I can't believe this guy, I don't know whether to laugh or to cry.

I love how you make statements like that. They ring true.

The Dancing Thumb (aka: music recommendations)

Speaking of jazz; I recently discovered Soil and "Pimp" Sessions. It's superenergetic jazz by a gang of Japanese people with, apparently, limitless stamina. If you're into this sort of thing, listen to numbers like Mashiroke, Avalanche and this one, Summer Goddess: Hot. -
I feel like I've chosen my words poorly. What I mean is that I'm afraid this game has just mashed some random 'cool' stuff like werewolves and vampires and nazi's together without any feeling for why these things are cool in the first place and why they normally work. If I look at the footage, I see gray areas, I see werewolves who are decidedly not feral and only the vampires fit naturally well with the aristocratic demeanor of Nazi generals. What bothers me is that the concept has potential to be awesome and pulpy, but the footage utterly fails to bring that across. That's the juvenile and crude part. Not the idea, but the execution. Even pulp needs some thought behind it to work.
-
I remember seeing a trailer a while back and thinking it was juvenile and crude. This trailer hasn't really helped that impression. It looks quite bland and from what I can see the theme hasn't really been worked out in any interesting fashion. But I haven't read previews or reviews or anything, I'm just going from the videos.

Hey everyone; next weekend it's anime convention weekend in the Netherlands, and me and group of friends decided we wanted to do a Phoenix Wright cosplay act. An excellent opportunity to make a Mr. Godot costume and visor! Here are the results! The visor was a great ordeal to make, but very rewarding in the end.

DS night people? Are they some sort of roving Mad Max clan? Anyway, the pics work now =)

It was a wig, hence the proportions-distorting volume of my hair. Here are some pics, as promised!

No movie appeals to everyone, but you're obviously on the smaller piece of the pie.

Wow, I'm 20 hours in but still only at 35% of the missions. That kicks ass. I love taking this thing slowly =)
