  1. Molyneux at Glastonbury?

Also, it's becoming increasingly apparent that Peter Molyneux is the new Peter Molyneux.
  2. Molyneux at Glastonbury?

Is Glastonbury something like the Dutch Lowlands, but 300% more wet and muddy?
  3. Fuck it

Toblix, this is the first step towards your rehabilitation. We're all proud!
  4. I don't think the contest is that formally pronounced, really. Especially for the LBP levels they'll give you some time, I'd think. I may have been laughing as a response to The Wizard being mentioned. THE WIZARD.
  5. It's AWESOME to hear that opening tune again. I totally identify that with Idle Thumbs. The podcast itself wasn't completely up to par with your earlier ones, it felt a little improvised, but otherwise entertaining. I'm looking forward to what you can do when you're back in 'the studio' and Spaff can work his sample magic again. We hafta get outta here!
  6. Finally caught up and listened to this one. Great show as always, and Steve 'Hot Scoopz' Gaynor is always a good guest. Ohh man, I totally burst out in laughter at some point, but I don't know where anymore. I do know that at the time I was harvesting reputation for Sporeggar, so there you have it. The Thumbcast: perfect for listening while playing WoW. OH SNAP!
  7. A Vampyre Story

Vimes, please don't hesitate to post more awesome videos of animation behind the scenes.
  8. Important update on Hitler's testicle.

Thank you. I can finally sleep again.
  9. Wrath of the Lich King

I believe I already mentioned it; Unholy. So far it's pretty sweet. Sometimes I get jealous of the Death Knights running around with blood worms around them, but they quickly die and aren't as cool as a pet Ghoul. I'm shooting through Outland right now, trying to reach Northrend as fast as possible =)
  10. Idle Thumbs 5: The Wizard

I'm totally lagging behind with the podcast because I have very irregular podcast-listening hours. I've just now finished The Wizard, which had the best opening ever! Improved Spectral Blade! Loved the episode, and I'll definitely consider writing you enormous elaborate questions as well
  11. Wrath of the Lich King

I played as a Mage most, so I know a bit about it. I was mainly Fire specced but used a bit of Frost too. As a rule of thumb, Fire is for the massive damage and perfect for PvE. In PvP however, Frost is apparently the way to go because it gives you much more control over the battle. Both are really valid. Arcane magic, lastly, has some of the more fun powers, but compared to the power of fire or the control of frost, I never really dared to go into it. Maybe I should for the heck of it. One of the funnest thing in the last week by the way, was figuring out how the Death Knight class worked on my own, without the help of any guides. Just studying the talents and skills and trying to decipher what worked with what and how it all fit together. Massively rewarding when you suddenly get it.
  12. Wrath of the Lich King

Really? It's pretty obvious since TBC was the only way you could go to level 70 and enter Northrend in the first place =) I'm always a bit disappointed at the lack of free playtime with a new expansion. They can take it, yesno?
  13. Wrath of the Lich King

Today I got ganked so many times in Hellfire Peninsula that I got totally fed up. We were running around there with about 100 Death Knights both Horde and Alliance, and the situation's just crazy. I'm migrating my character to a PvE realm. Don't know which one yet, but I gotta get away from people constantly trying to kill me (and succeeding) when I have no interest in that bullshit. I'm also totally Unholy, by the way. Diseases and Ghoul pets are great! Though there was just now some weird bug where the game didn't register my Talents anymore, so suddenly I was super-nerfed and weak, and I couldn't figure out what it was. Weird.
  14. Wrath of the Lich King

I've yet to visit Northrend, but here's my Death Knight Doodsknecht, who is administering huge doses of fun into my system.
  15. Wrath of the Lich King

At least you know you've got one. The situation here was pretty dismal. I managed to snag one because I dressed up, but normal reservations were mostly a no-go due to shortage. Having said that; the expansion is breathtaking. I've made a Deathknight named Doodsknecht and it's incredibly fun to play with. It'll be a while before I set foot on Northrend, but the Deathknight might be the best thing to happen to me in gaming this year.
  16. Wrath of the Lich King

,,We of the Royal Apothecary Society have concocted a new plague to fight the Lich King's forces. It has taken us many restless hours, but sleep is for the living anyway. We invite you to join us in the battle against the Scourge, and taking the fight to the very roof of the world: Northrend. Victory for Sylvanas!" - Apothecary Zylas
  17. Little BIG Planet

I finally played a few hours yesterday, and it's really fun =) I especially liked the race segments, which are super frantic, expecially if you don't know what's coming. Dying isn't a problem at all since you're quick to respawn. Awesome game! And the introductory level with all the devs' heads is funny and great to see!
  18. Resident Evil 4 Wii

What? That's Resident Evil Guy! He belongs to the series like cheesy dialogue and clichéd zombie horror. Couldn't imagine a RE game without him
  19. Gears of War 2

Ironically, Gears 2 got lost here in the whole end-of-year clusterfuck with Fable 2, LBP, Castlevania and so many others. But it's definitely something I'll be playing with three friends in Horde mode. Gears 1 was exciting, so this will probably tickle us too.
  20. Grand Theft Auto IV

Mayhaps in the future, but on the short term it's not happening. Thursday is in any respect an impossiblility, seeing as it's Wrath of the Lich King day at the office. Yes. The office is closing for the day so everyone can play World of Warcraft here. So really, I shouldn't complain
  21. Grand Theft Auto IV

Blooping hell, I'd be totally up for this if my Xbox were linked to the internets =( I'm missing out on forumite fun! Curses.
  22. President Obama!

Countries and states are rarely simple. The Netherlands too; it even confuses me nowadays. I was brought up with the idea that we were one of the most liberal, openminded countries in the world, but recent years have been littered with the most awful, bigoted, conservative events ever. From wide-spread acceptance of populist politicians stressing cultural and racial divides to the murder of freethinking individuals (though we seem to have a history of killing people we later make statues of, poor Oldenbarneveldt and William of Orange). I don't know my own culture anymore. Or maybe I just don't want to be part of it anymore if it's like this.
  23. Movie/TV recommendations

I'm watching Pushing Daisies too, and the 'Disney sugar coating' is highly ironic since it deals with making dead folk alive again and insane murder cases. Think more 'Amelie' than 'Singing in the rain'. I'm totally enjoying it by the way. I frequently laugh out loud at the well-produced craziness.
  24. President Obama!

Metallus; point taken and you're right to advise caution. I'm more saddened because I did assume that some people should know better, not because I necessarily want to dictate what's best for the people. Also, I can't escape seeing not legalizing gay marriage as wrong and stupid, especially if it's for religious reasons. As for the assumptions on your state, I base those only on everything I know and have heard of it, which is bound to be grossly incomplete and exaggerated. But California (more specifically San Francisco) is decidedly known for its liberalism, which has contributed to the disappointment.
