Febo in Mass Effect 2? Isn't this a photofuck? I'd be very surprised if this was in. Also, Febo has pretty good fries. I always like eating there.

Perhaps the shitty wizard is hexing Tarantino into a fit of public masturbation.

I can't wait to hijack the giant lumbering mechanical spider machine that roams the prairie.

I prefer the good ol' leather pouch with silver coins in there. Worked for Judas, works for me.

The Fountain was very strange. Beautiful, weird, disturbing and boring all at the same time. I loved the conquistadores bits and in space, not so much the present. As for Aussies, don't forget that hotheaded actor named Russel Crowe. He loves to act but he loves one thing more: Fight Around The World.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about the ability to redecorate houses in Fable 2. I never did that, even once, because it seemed like the most massive chore ever. I agree with every above statement: interesting, complicated systems are very doable and manageable by everyone, provided they are intuitive and fun. This slide reeks of a gross underestimation of the audience, which is a creative sin.

I have experienced much the same development as of late. Had a wonderful relationship for a year that ended a few months ago. Now that I'm over it, I realize that I don't really desire a relationship like that anymore, not with the nigh-desperate craving I once felt. It feels balanced and right.

I'm ecstatic that they've been able to not make the designs horrendous this time around.

fuck it im pirating this shit.. Well actually, I'm playing the games on consoles, so for most of them nothing will change for me. But the DRM is draconian and in both the short and long run extremely counterproductive for both Ubisoft, the consumer and the success of the game.

Yes, quite a pity. I liked all of their games!

That's fascinating, Xeneth, I totally get it! Making your playthrough worthwhile for spectators by spicing it up. That's brilliant. I have subtly done this as well, I believe. Lingering on explosions or trying to squeeze every ounce of oomph from a particular crash in GTA4. As for playthroughs on the internet, a few months back I watched someone play through the entirety of Lands of Lore 3, which is a horrible, horrible game. But coupled with a modestly entertaining commentary track, it suddenly became very enjoyable, for all of its 15+ hours. Thanks for the comments everyone =) I wasn't sure what I would gain or if it would be interesting to write this up, but apparently it was.

I stopped reading the article halfway when the spoilers began, but I can't wait! =) So good to hear this. A bit sad that it's not going to be Purple Box with Episode 3 in it, but hey, I won't mind. I'm interested how they'll up the ante so much that the world and mechanics will endure for a full-length game without become repetitive. No doubt or criticism there whether they can pull it off or not: only curiosity.

OK, I finished Bioshock 2 the other day and now I'm going to talk about the ending and such. For Bioshock 3 (which with Bioshock 2 recently selling 3m copies is another inevitability) I would like 2K to take a chance and step out of the mold. Make Rapture more openended. Oblivion-Rapture. Fallout-Rapture. But with audiologs.

The Idle Thumbs Podcast Episode 3: "Your Buddy, Space Marine" or "The Capper"

This is the sort of dressing and hairstyle that will look ugly after one year, let alone a decade. It reminds me of an unfunny entry in 'worst album covers'. At least it's even gayer than this So there's that. -

Yes, this is a truth. -
That's bizarre, I stongly had the feeling I had already seen this picture. Which is why I didn't mark it as something new. Still, looks badass. Wizards are supposed to be rather roguish.

It was an interesting process, and you're the first person to ask this question, actually The thing was, I was never really part of the life there. Even though I lived there for 3 months, I always remained a visitor, an observer. I liked this, because it gave me a shield: I never had to compete as you said in that tenacious pool of sharks. So I could take things easy and not be frantic all the time. I did make some friends there, so it's not like I only saw maladjusted losers. My friends were all just starting out in LA, full of ambition, in the best possible way. I still think if you catch a break, LA can really make you shine. But you do have to go for it, and it will come at the cost of any idea of a normal life. The slice of LA life that I saw was all about parties and working. As for my dreams... at one point I did consider it a possibility to move to LA and live there, should I get a job offer during my stay or whatever. But once I was there, it wasn't the level of competition or the people there that made me realize I wanted to go back the Netherlands: it was simply that I missed life here too much, my friends and family. It's as simple as that. Perhaps some time in the future I might consider another adventure abroad, but it'll probably be closer to home. Perhaps France, or England. It all depends on what offers come my way. The funny thing is, after my trip to the US it was like I had made my point, so a huge sense of urgency and competition left me then and there. I set out what I wanted to do and succeeded. So for now I have no other huge ambition burning inside me. Only big projects that mostly seem like a good amount of fun to me

I hear the PS3 version is a little buggier than the Xbox version? The only bugs I've had so far are a few audio logs not playing when they pop up on screen, but that was an isolated incident.

That really sucks. I guess everyone has to experience this once, after which they actually do do backups. At this point in my life, I always have two backups of everything. Two on different computers and one on an external hard drive. It would take the finger of god to make me accidentally lose all three at the same time.

Mon maman! But, honestly, what is this man talking about, playing Galaxy 2?

Galaxy 2 is OUT?! No way.
