So simple, so elegant. I hate you, brkl, and I love you.

I friends with Proun's creator, he's a really nice guy. You can even decide for yourself how much you're willing to pay for the game, so that's pretty awesome. I'm rooting for this to become an indie hit.

I gotta say that is not at all what interests me. But I still fully expect to be surprised by a significant dose of RPGing in the main singleplayer game. I don't see a real reason to start worrying just yet.

I find all this stuff with Robin and Zelda Williams very charming. It's a unique story and beautifully handled. Props.

If you have a love for cartoons, then you should probably go and watch the new My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic show. Don't be deterred by the subject matter: there are legions of adult, male fans (called 'brony') and for good reason. It's one of the best things out there right now. No need for downloading either; everything's on Youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeJ6-gN0eB4

Shame you can't visit an onsen, Kolzig, but it should still be a great trip when you go. I've planned to visit Japan within two years with a good friend of mine. It gives me yet another reason to really buff up my Japanese as best as I can. I'm also again so tempted to try to find work in Japan. I know it's an impossibility right now, because you need the resources and the connections and the job opportunity, but it's a dream that probably will never go away.

Well, it at least staves what I said in the review of Critical Mass; that Duke is a relic from the 90s and it would've been wiser to have kept it there. Is there anyone who genuinely enjoys Duke Nukem as a character? I have a feeling even the designers must've thought 'well, WE don't enjoy it particularly, but there's loads of people out there who DO.' Except there might not be, so in the end everyone will be scratching their heads why something like this ever got made today.

Kind of disappointing to see those low scores after all this time. The spinoff Critical Mass for the DS, which I had the displeasure to review, was terrible, but I had expected the big Duke to be at least a lot of goofy fun, if not a great game. Is it a lot of goofy fun, or just kind of trite?

MAN I feel old! Look at how large baby T has become! That's a serious bad ass goat though. How come goats are so awesome? Is it their weird cylindrical irises? Is it their incredibly horns? Or to phrase it with the words of the kid who came running by a petting zoo a few years ago, pointing at a goat's horns with all too much bravado: 'I want to touch THAT!'

I am thoroughly psyched for OoT's re(re)lease in five days time. Finally something worthwhile to play on my 3DS! Holy cow level!

I'm going to ride the positive train here and say that change is good and this will likely turn out To be a stepping stone toward greater things, Wrestle. SAY HI TO BABY T FOR ME!

Pretty much that. Ever wondered why the ocean in Wind Waker was, in the end, so barren, with most plots of sea containing nothing or just a small outcropping? The game was supposed to be much larger, including three whole dungeons that were practically finished. They didn't have the time to polish them adequately though, so they scrapped them just to finally release the game. Just imagine, there are three entire Wind Waker dungeons out there, completely built, and all they need is a spitshine. This is the reason the game feels a little uneven during the second half, and ultimately didn't live up to the promise. This is why I'm still hoping for the 'full' Wind Waker experience, to be rereleased on a console near you. But, once again, go for Majora first, and adjust the difficulty. I would appreciate it is people were to put talk about final bosses and such in spoiler-tags here. Seems pretty spoilerific, you know.

I saw Source Code and really liked it. It felt like a worthy follow-up in Duncan Jones' oeuvre, exploring similar themes (technology pushing the limits of humanity and how the little guy responds to that) in novel ways. It was a striking, touching movie.

A (slightly difficulty-adjusted) 3DS remake of Majora's Mask is ever so much above my desire to see Wind Waker finally finished instead of the compromised game that we eventually got. Well, that is 100% not the case with me. I both loved and respected the time limit. What broke the game for me was the (in my opinion) too difficult fish boss in the water temple and one of the optional side quests where you had to defend a ranch from invading aliens. I tried both of these challenges multiple times and came nowhere near defeating them. The level of skill required was way above what I could muster. For the record, I have successfully played and finished virtually all other Zelda games, 2D or 3D. I can say with some certainty that Majora's Mask is way more challenging, and at those two points vexingly difficult, than other games. That may make me less of a proficient gamer than you obviously were, but there is most definitely a big spike there in difficulty that Nintendo would do well to address before any rerelease. Sorry if this sounded a little snippy.

Penultimate is a ballpoint BIC that just never dries up. In many ways, it is the ultimate pen, or Penultimate. Did I express my hopes yet today that there will be a Majora's Mask 3DS remake that slightly alters the difficulty to 'less insane' and thus enables me to actually finish this beautiful, unique masterpiece?

You're moving up in the world, Miffy!

I finished the game just now (in glorious black and white) and the ending is

I switched the game to B&W yesterday and loved it! That's absolutely the way to play it. I'm still wrapping everything up and arson is just so good.

Taking a small sidenote, I'm completely rooting for a 3DS Majora's Mask remake, ESPECIALLY if they tweak the game a little bit (just a little bit) to be a bit more forgiving. There are challenges and bosses in that game that are spiritbreakingly difficult (that stupid fish boss most notably), but otherwise the game is so gorgeous in its design. There's a tension to the game that few others have, a sort of maniacal quality pervading a world on the brink of moon-brought doom. According to Carmack, people will die.

Oh shit, Europe is first! Here come the Reapers! I've been conditioned by Westwood to really love real actors playing in games, so this is good marketing as far as I'm considered.

In a strike of obvious planned obsolescence, Gamecube support will not be available on the Wii U. I'm pretty miffed about this, because I had planned to use the Wii U as a complete replacement for the Wii, which I had used as a complete replacement for the Gamecube. Now I'm thinking: fuck Nintendo consoles in their entirety. Maybe I'll stick to their excellent handhelds and leave the consoles to companies who cater much better to my specific needs.

A proper storydriven Pokémon RPG for the 3DS would be rad, but isn't going to happen, ever. On the Podédex, why the fuck didn't it set the colorful sky background as the default? Now you start off with the depressing one.

The best thing about LA Noire is without a doubt the hilarious trumpet music you sometimes get when chasing a dude. I had a lot of critique on the game above, and not all of it is gone, but I'm going through arson now and suddenly the game gets really interesting and good. Why did it take so damn long to get there? There is still some really shitty storytelling going on though.
