Not too shabby, but I wish Lucas would stop degrading his own movies. Leave it to Funny or Die.

Still hoping you won't have a horrible AI character running behind you all the time in singleplayer though That ruins the horror. I hope at one point in the future I'll get an online console too so I can play with u gaiz.

Ghost Trick was the DS version which I picked up for cheap. I can see this game working on iOS since it's pretty much touch-based.

Ghost Trick. Written and directed by Shu Takumi of Ace Attorney fame and it definitely shows in the story department. It's that typical, extremely convoluted type of crime story, but as expertly rolled out as all his games. Plus it has some really cool puzzles. The gameplay was surprisingly adventure-like and pretty unique at that. Don't overlook this!

Out of sheerest curiosity, how many players will RE6 co-op support?

Enthused by the Kickstarter success, I wanted to write a little retrospective of Idle Thumbs' winding history, an outpouring of love for everyone's enjoyment. And perhaps, you know, get that little tear upon reaching level 17. I'm cutting this up in five parts right underneath each other, because apparently it's too long to fit in a single post Enjoy!

IDLE THUMBS: A Retrospective In Triple A

Just be glad I didn't put anything in there about your neck, Marek. Which is long! -
Herp derp is not ideal, but herp herp derp herpy derpy dumb.
-
THANK YOU NACHIMIR! Not only do I not have to read what stupid people have to say, I can also be amused at HERP DERP now. This is terrific.
-
This is why I find it highly annoying when some sites (YOUTUBE *cough* YOUTUBE) don't allow for hiding comments and show them right under the video, so you always catch at least one or two horrible people saying ghastly or moronic things.

Oh hi Mark

The exasperated face he's making stuffing the money into the sofa is just perfect.

Quite a ride - and I can understand how TV work can be soulcrushing and sad. (I might have just been watching too much Screen Wipe over the last few days though.) Sad you couldn't keep in contact, but then in showbiz that's quite hard if you're not on the same track, I think. But maybe that's just Extras talking.

Allow me to posit I may be full of shit.

Allow me to posit that the Grenade story originated from Vanaman in the Burning Down The Wolfman episode recorded at PAX.

The full extent of my experience with Armored Core is watching the Armored Core 4 VideoGaiden review, in which Rab explained that he pronounces the game as 'arMORRRRed Core'. Since then, I do the same. I'm vaguely intruiged by building a badass mech. From the videos it seems it's a big multiplayer thing though. Is there a singleplayer campaign where you can take on those cool bosses by yourself?

[There was an angry rant here about Phil Fish. I don't necessarily think differently about it now, but I took it away since it was rather ranty and angry and that's not how I want to come across, not in this fashion.]

What was the most Idle Thumbs thing to happen without Idle Thumbs?

Ouch! That trailer hurt my brain. -
GDC 2012: The Death of Nick Breckon

I loved hearing the bits about Starcraft 2, I just love it in Mein Confgrenade! -
Gwardinen and I are doing a lot of matches and he's playing with Dwarves right now. Our pace is really relaxed though, at most two turns a day, so we haven't gotten a lot of Dwarf-time under our belts yet

I guess it makes slightly more sense to have a Japan-centric view if you were raised on console gaming, but that was certainly not all of gaming. Once you remember to include the PC, the statement that Japan is the birthing place (or even main supplier) of modern games is ludicrous. That aside, ahhh, GDC, home of the power-drunk developer spouting incendiary quotes.
-
Sorry to hammer on this, but this is part of what I meant just then. Where is this coming from? When have 'Western games' not been made, not been popular? It seems so strange to me to single out Japan as the mythical birthing place of [modern] games, to the point where it feels like we're trying to sweep Western game history under the rug. Why?
-
Wow, what an ass-hat to say that to another developer. I'm the first to object to some of the games made in Japan, specifically JRPGs, but that's another thing completely from making moronic and uninformed generalisations about a whole nation's industry. While we're on the subject of criticism, one line in that article jumped out at me. What kind of shitty, subjective reporting is that? 'Which to many is the spiritual home of [the] modern games', what does that mean? According to who? On what grounds? Why even include such a vague, sweeping statement in your piece?
