Wow, that Gamespot article sure is intent on framing it in the worst possible way. They're only a hair away from titling it 'AC developer hates women!' I think he does have a point that in this and other historical events, women did not have a lot of active roles to play (behind the scenes, inside the house, they'll have had major influence). This being AC, they surely could've worked it in though, so it's not much of an excuse. It would seem the protagonist of ACIII is already a huge outcast, being half-native American, so they might as well have gone all the way and made him a her.

I don't know what half of that means, but it sure sounds exciting! I have a piece of machinery I'd like to kick down the stairs as well and it's my laptop. It is doing some weird thing where when I type certain characters like ' or " or ^ or ~, it produces the thing twice: '' '"" ^^ ~~. These are all characters used to create special characters in non-English languages, accent grave, accent circonflexe and the like. My keyboard started doing this out of the blue a while ago and it's annoying. Google doesn't offer anything particularly helpful and I don't remember anything changing in my setup. Ideas?

Epic Mickey was kind of a disappointment, so I hope this game is better game. I like the musical aspect in any case. Once bitten, twice shy, however, so I'm postponing any enthusiasm until after more is known.

The Chronicles of Riddick is an unapologetically fun movie. I thought John Carter was a bit dull in certain areas and a bit stupid with a lot of its writing, but in Riddick it's never dull, and when it's stupid it doesn't really matter. It has so many glorious stuff in there. 'Fouuuur waaaay split!'

Warehouse 13 is pulp that is often quite poorly written. I'm almost done watching the third season and after that I'm stopping. It's just too middling, especially if you consider this show was more or less inspired by the awesome The Lost Room miniseries. Where Warehouse 13 fails most is when there's any sense of tragedy or a 'moment' going on. The writing becomes so appalling I get embarrassed in front of the TV. It's a shame, because the characters can be fun, especially Artie, Pete and . Another big complaint is the facility of all the artifacts. They're supposed to be these mysterious, cool things, but almost every one of them comes across as gimmicky and is used for storylines that would serve as B-plots in better procedural shows. I wish this show were better, it has a lot of potential!

Hey, you know, as long as they can do more seasons of the phenomenally mediocre Warehouse 13 instead...!
