Halo. 2. But don't listen to the silly brayings of a fanboy. Like Chris suggested, I suggest you look up the top games of both Gamecube and Xbox and decide which set of games is more your thang. Then again, like I so subtly hinted, look up future releases also in deciding which console to buy. You may enjoy now but you might end up if you decide (in the future) that you made the wrong decision. This is precisely why I chose a PC over a Mac when I had the opportunity to decide 2 years ago. (Really, no.)

I don't know (nor care much) for this movie, but I thought Karl Urban did a find job as Eomer in the Lord of the Rings movies. He was less impressive in The Bourne Supremacy, I thought, but that was a small, somewhat insignificant role, so I guess he's not to blame. That said, I think should play the marine. But really, if they were going to make this movie, I think Urban would suit the role quite nicely.

Only when I'm doing Computer Science homework...math, chem, history everything else has to be done in sheer silence.

On HATE and how I will be projecting it towards everything in the upcoming weeks

I think I may be going bald...there's a rather thin patch of hair on top of my head.... -
Command & Conquer 3 screens (warning: deceptive title)

I'm quite sure Generals didn't do as well as they hoped. Maybe that's why. Then again, EA isn't know for being particularly selective about the games they release. Or are they? -
Bandwidth caps SUCK! (and so do clueless in-laws)
Kode replied to Intrepid Homoludens's topic in Idle Banter
Sorry to hear that Trep I have a bandwidth cap at college too, but it's 5 GB and I don't think I'll be hitting that any time soon. -
I thought it was a fine departure from Jump-fests such as The Phantom Menace where not only jumping, but double-jumping and vine-catching were a part of every day life. Of course, they're two completely different types of games. But honestly, I didn't mind. I was too involved with other things in the game. Sorry to hear about the nail clippers. I hear Walgreens has some of those.

Command & Conquer 3 screens (warning: deceptive title)

Maybe 3D is going out of fashion and they didn't think it would make enough money. I want 4D games now... -
Well, it's not like he hasn't got one. It's just a superhero personality. I guess it's more of a charecteristic, but he's really selfless and compassionate. The kind of guy most people would like around them. You know you're safe around Tintin. And I think Herge may have been German, not necessarily a follower of the Nazi party.

Maybe she died and that's why he's devoted himself to a life of crime fighting?

I always liked Captain Haddock. He has wonderful chemistry with the Opera lady, whose name I have conviniently forgotten. As for Tintin, even though we do know so little about him, I've always felt the stories were written in a way such that we don't notice that. He's always straight into the action. On a random note, for a long time, I thought Tintin was a wee lad like myself - 13-14 years old. And I couldn't believe that 13 year-old Tintin would do the kinds of things that Tintin did - what with going to the moon, handling AK-47s, etc. Only later did I realize that he was actually quite a bit older, though not by much.

My favorite strategy games are WarCraft III and Age of Empires II. That said, I guess it'd be fair to say that I prefer Real-Time to Turn-Based, but really, though, I find turn-based strategy games very appealing. They have the potential to be really great, but it just so happens that I haven't played a really good one yet. I tried Civ III for a while, but although it kept me going for a week, 5-6 hours at a time, I just never felt like playing it again. Maybe if there's another really good one that I haven't played I might give it a shot because the whole concept of turn-based strategy, moving away from the old click-fest that most RTSs are, sounds great. I suppose you could call the Worms series "turn-based strategy" as well. I really love that game.

I was deciding whether to buy Beyond Good and Evil or Halo yesterday. Seeing that Halo costed only 5 bucks more (thus cheaper than usual) I decided to go with that instead. Rest assured, though, BG&E is still very high on my list. Won't be long before my filthy paws reach that one.

This game has a wonderful soundtrack! But I have yet to play it. I may just get it because of this. Thank you thank you.

I think I'll use the double barrelled mandibles of death-47. I've heard and seen many such 'mods' going around for many games, and frankly, hardly any of them ever finish. Hopefully this doesn't go the way of the dodo.

I've haven't seen a copy of Outlaws in stores any time recently, but there's always the overpriced LucasArts company store version. I did, however, once see it in the budget rack at Best Buy (which I don't think they have in Hungary) for $9.99. As for whether it is worth buying: I too can say that I enjoyed the demo very much. It's a really fun shooter. I love expecially how graphically cool the loading and firing of the revolver is. That said, even if I saw it on for $10 or less, I mightn't buy it just because there's so much other junk I have to play that is higher up on my to-play list. But if you're feeling bored and aren't looking forward to any game within in the next few weeks and really feel like playing this game (which I hear has a wonderful story) then I'd fully recommend it. Frankly, if I didn't have Halo and Freedom Fighters to play before Knights of the Old Republic 2 came out, I'd get it. And that last line sounded nerdy.

I became a little more reluctant to go out ever since I acquired my new computer. It's all cooled off now, though. Congrats and have fun, Kingz!

It is also highly convinient that a few days after people began selling and acquiring Gmail accounts like hot cakes Yahoo began providing 100 MB of e-mail space as opposed to 5.

That actually sounds cooler.
