What's the deal with Microsoft's "Project Origami"?
MrChlorophyll replied to Marek's topic in Video Gaming
Buy Microsoft's Project Origami! Now featuring 17 inches of suck! You know, that may actually help sales, now that I think about it. -

3"x5"x17"x17"? Microsoft has created a 4th dimension of motion! Brilliant! -
I love stuff like that. One of my favourite occurances of something in this vein was when Andy Kaufman wanted to have a show where for that one episode the picture would be all on the fritz and generally wonky so people would be messing with their t.v. sets trying to fix it. Oh, what genius. Sadly, the network didn't let him do it. Son of a bitches.

Ex-Gizmondo Exec tears his car in half 162 MPH
MrChlorophyll replied to General Fuzzy McBitty's topic in Video Gaming
Even if you don't care about cars, the fact that there are only 400 399 on the planet has got to make you irksome. -

And Idle Thumbs once again sees through the horse shit. -
So all you gotta do is buy a lead box and chuck the sucker in there when you're losing. Or should I not be giving those kinds of bastards any ideas?

Rigging the mainsail, scrubbing the poop deck? Saying "avast"? Or stealing games and damning your soul to the ninth ring of hell??

I love you Thrik.

If you leave the hand it would like somebody holding up a cardboard Molyneux mask... I must have it.

Thompsonsoft's deput game: I'm OK! Oh it's just so awesome. And a half decent (totally mindless) half hour game.

Great timing too. I just recently stopped wishing the forums would come back. But don't think I'm not rejoicing.

I finally got Shadow of the Colossus back in December but by and large, I've been whoring myself to Lionhead's two most recent releases, The Movies and Black & White 2. And I'll be getting Fable for the PC someday, even though I already have the XBox version. I am just a Lionhead crack addict.

I usually just arrange stuff back in the proper order. Like if there's a random copy of something two rows above and 5 feet left of all the other copies of it, I'll put it back. I've been asked if I worked there on multiple occasions. But with stuff like Psychonauts and back with Grim Fandango and whatever other classics of the time, I'd sprawl those suckers out as far and wide as they had copies.

Buying a new laptop for gaming...err I mean work
MrChlorophyll replied to Mentic's topic in Idle Banter
So what happens to the people who are already a grouchy, cynical bastards? And I of course us the term "people" loosely. But my brother had a Dell lappy a few years back. Battery life was decent. And I've had nothing but good laptop experiences with laptops. My dad's had a couple, I have one. Never any problems. -
Never ceases to amaze me just how badly I suuuuuuuck at strategy games.

Ooh, I like it.

Strange how massively appealing Zombies are. Just something about 'em. -
Haha! Comix Zone! Kick ass! Oh man I love that game.

Thank God I went to bed before I saw that. Heebleyjeeblies.

Pharaoh's Revenge. Man, I was like 4 at the time. If I beat the first level, it was quite the accomplishment.
-
Ooooh, zing!

I prefer my method of talking but never really saying anything because whatever opinion I allegedly have has been already stated by another. Keeps me out of trouble and lets me be a complete and utter asshat without anyone actually knowing. And that makes me giggle.

It's an art. And a science.
