Oh yes, Charlie and the Chocalate Factory was thoroughly excellent. And I refuse to compare it to the original. Except for the Oompa Loompa song. I mean, c'mon, at least put the original one on the last minute of the credits at least.

After a string of 4 days, seeing Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Scarface, Requiem for a Dream (1st time), and Traffic (1st time, even if not as much a drug movie as the rest), I am officially Fucked Up in the Head. That's really not a good bunch of movies for your brain to watch in a row in that quick succession. Fucking hell.

Well... initiation complete, I guess. Buddy of mine took an elbow to the eyebrow a few days ago. The sound it made echoed through the room, I swear it. While technically not a dong, it was certainly a fascinating flat sound.

I know exactly where everything game related I own(ed) is. My computer stuff is in either the pie safe in the living room or my giant 400(give or take 100) sleeve cd thingy along with my PS2 stuff, the old Nintendo stuff I still have is in a dresser in the guest room, my brother has all the XBox stuff, my GameGear is long dead and the games moved on to a better home along with about 50 Nintendo games, and all Genesis related objects also were donated to a gameless family. I wonder what Nintendo games and boxes I still have here... I'll have to check.

Well my day can officially only get better now.

Dammit. That's the second time these bastards have been a day away from possibly killing my dad. (He's a captain for United) He flew to London early September one day and was set to come back on the 12th: One day off, could very well have been my dad's plane. Now, once again he's doing London trips, he frequents one of the stations because it's right by the hotel he stays at. Bastards.

I'll have to get me one 'o them PS2-PC controllers. Probably my favorite controller. Just can't beat the 4 shoulder buttons. And thank you for pointing out the broken link Miffy. For some reason, clicking it doesn't work. Just copy the link location and you should be golden.

Looking back now, I'm really, really glad I took the impatient route and just got the thing for PS2. While the RC controls were a little wonky, normal planes and choppers were a breeze. 2 tries tops for all golds in flight school.

Aah. Nothing like getting up at the butt crack of dawn.

I picture puppies jumping up against the window and generally frolicking about in their little puppy pens when I hear that song.
