i never put movies together (only split them) but i guess it's possible to put them together that no one notices. i'd give it a try.

why not recording pieces of 15 minutes and put them together by using virtualdub or something?

why can't you use the music of real bands? i also had to invest a little time till i found musicians transferring music in the style i imagined (and using non-covers of course). their reactions to my requests (such as "am i allowed to use your track in my non-commercial project?") were all friendly, some even grateful.

i only played gabriel knight 3. in my opionion the riddles and the design were horrible, but the story was very impressive. (especially the ending really honored me for bearing all the ugly game-design) ps: andreadst, welcome on idle-land!

as long as i can ignore their "art" i really don't care. they want provoke and attention but won't receive anything from me, because this is just kinda sick.

although it's not a big achievement to get mentioned in the df-news (just photograph yourself naked and drunken with psychonauts - worked for me! ), i have to say that spaff's pixel art looks damn impressive. congratulations for the praise and love i didn't receive!

the german gamestar and gamestar/dev gamestar was pretty good in the good old times, but nowadays they are too much oriented on these commercial stuff (ea hoooray! loads of "news" about good selling games like wow, battlefield 2, etc) and they gave psychonauts only 77 out of 100. gamestar/dev is pretty good. probably because most of the people writing on the magazine are freelancers working in the games industry and it's much more developer-oriented. but also a few articles are lacking of criticism (as an example an article of .net 2.0 written by an ms-guy...).

well, yeah. tell nobody. hot sex orgies with psychonauts sponsored by majesco, psychonauts sponsored by myself and grim fandango sponsored by my parents may not have the influence on the sexual reputation i deserve.

wtf? is this really a line of oblivion? thanks god my young, innocent brother purchased a (probably horrible) translated german oblivion and that i'll (probably) never have the time to play it on his xbox 360.
