Holland celebrates 60 years of freedom. In other news: Neo-Nazis win German election
Ryam BaCo replied to Roderick's topic in Idle Banter
i read parts of their manifesto and think (i don't know much about the german laws or politics) that this party is legal, because they don't break any law like the nsdap for instance did by killing "enemies" and breaking contracts. in their manifesto are of course some points which seem to be worrying like "germany out of the eu and the euro and back to deutsche mark" or "controlled immigration" but all the racist messages, which may cause a ban of the party, because of violence of human rights, are somewhere between the lines. afaik there are have been several attemps to ban this party, but they all failed. it's true that you can't purchase mein kampf in austria or germany, but the rumors that you get locked up by owning mein kampf or crying heil hitler! are all beautiful nonsense. -

i saw extracts of the zdf-interview of the german right extrimist party and i must say that the german interviewer and the represantatives of the other parties acted as dumb as possible. imo. first of all: i'm not defending this party! omg...i don't...i'm just wondering that german television condenscend to the niveau of them... it isn't neutral journalism when the first question of the interviewer to senor apfel (omg...what a name...) is something like "herr apfel, when will you tell your electors that you are neonazi?". but the "answer" of mr apfel was even dumber than the question itself: "today is a great day for germans, who want to be germans...blablablabla". but while he was talking the representantives of the other parties were leaving! no confrontation. no discussion. just leaving! like "oh! we're so disgusted, let's go!"...in the end everything went out "good" (--> senor apfel's party = racist + insane), but just because of the fact that senor apfel didn't react to this given opportunities... ...thanks god that he is just insane (like the whole party) and not clever insane (like a little hitler would be...). but what if senor apfel would have been a little hitler and reacted to the interviewer's first question with disrespect and quoted the escape of his colleagues with "cowardice against democracy"? then senor apfel's party probably would have earned the reputation of misunderstood + discriminated instead of racist + insane. the fact that the german television (with millions of viewers!) gave this oppurtionity to a right extrimist party is almost scaring me more than their existence. -
ryam's speculationssss: neverwinter nights 2, baldur's gate 3 (please don't! just...don't!) or something else and jade empire, dragon age but i'm much more excited about the drug they'll produce with unreal engine 3...

depends. when i think about these planned horror-sequences of my "game" (it's still more like a concept) valley of angels they - and the whole game - can only work in 3rd person view. but valley of angels is not a horror game, it will just have few horror sequences and probably the story (which is mainly about "character-transformation" - i won't reveal more) will spread some horror flair. okay, but back to one horror scene in valley of angels: after an accident (caused by somewhat) you wake up. everybody around you is dead. you're all alone. you are walking through a glade/forest. snow is everywhere. you know that there's something out there that may kill you. this feeling alone should arouse horror feelings. and i decided here for 3rd person view because: - i want to see my character breathing - i want to see the footsteps (in the snow) of my character - there are a few more reasons i'm pretty excited about this scene and you'd agree if you'd know what i'm planning for this one horror sequence. but this was just one of a few more horror sequences. valley of angels is going to be a pretty "dark" game. and i'm very very excited about it, because it includes parts of storytelling that have never been used (and probably will never be used) in computer games. i can't wait till i'll be able to make it.

unreal engine 3 is awesome! bioware is ultra-awesome! bioware + unreal engine 3 = omg!

pah. i'm still waiting for baldur's gate - the movie: spend 200 hours in the cinema of your choice! doom doesn't seem to have a good enough "story" or strong enough "characters" to make a good doom-related movie out of it.

reminds me to the rumors about a movie to alice... to american mcgee's oz: is he trying to make a game out of the wizard of oz? (where michael jackson played a scarecrow... )

my brother owns an xbox with games such as indiana jones or jedi knight 2. i played indiana jones for around 30 minutes till i stopped, because i wasn't able to controll indy precise enough and almost always had to replay jum-and-run passages, which got pretty frustrating soon. and for jedi knight 2: shooter controlls with 2 sticks instead of a good old mouse and a good old keyboard...just brrrrrrrr

i could talk about baldur's gate 2. again. every time when i think that i'm tired i somehow think about baldur's gate 2... here's the whole story: once upon a time little ryam bought baldur's gate 2. he played it around 30 minutes but the whole, new d&d complexity scared him and so baldur's gate 2 vanished from his memories. one day night little ryam was verrrry verrrrrry drunken. this happened somewhere in the first weekend right after the beginning of 9 week lasting austrian summer holidays. and because of the fact that little ryam was 16 years old and little and dumb and naive he decided not to sleep, when he came home around *blackout*. so he started baldur's gate 2 because of *blackout*. then he generated a character and named him Ryam BaCo (i reversed my last name Mayr and made BaCo out of Banana and Coconuts, because of *blackout*). little ryam decided to play as a ranger, because he liked the word affinity, which reminded him to monkeys. then he entered the first chapter of baldur's gate 2. what a mistake it was! the next thing i remember was that i finished the first chapter of baldur's gate 2 without even knowing that i'm playing a computer game. that was too late! just...too late! i already got addicted to baldur's gate 2. the next 8 weeks i wasn't able to sleep more than 4 hours/day/night because of §$%$§%! baldur's gate 2. oh...and i had to work these 8 months...and went to parties at weekends...this was definitely the biggest phase of self-destruction in my whole life. just to summarize the whole topic: 8 weeks baldur's gate 2. 5 days working. 2 days party. 4 hours sleep/day. sounds like an impossible lie? i swear: it is not. oh my god it is not. baldur's gate 2 ruined changed brought a lot of joy to my life and made me to a bioware whore. another bioware examples: should i learn for my driving license??? - oh...no...let's play neverneverwinter nights should i listen to my teacher when he's talking about final exams??? - better not...let's play kotor AGAIN. could anybody please burn down bioware? please? anybody? they should stop producing games. yes. they should. and: every time i hear rumors about baldur's gate 3 my body starts...hmmm...shaking...just as he would say to me noooo....oh...noooo...not AGAIN...epic baldur's gate 3 will KILL you. seriously. it will...

thank you for the links. i think i meant american mcgee's grimm. i know that this game i read and watched artworks about a few months ago was pretty alice alike. grimm fits into this scheme, but i'm not entirely sure though.

pc, because of usually better graphics, easier controlls (i hate these §$%!$% gamepads) and the possibility to be more creative to name a few reasons for me. ohhh...and pc games are cheaper than xbox/ps2 games. at least here in austria.

i remember american mcgee saying that he's working on a pretty brutal title. but while looking after scrapland i found these lines, which indicate, that at least this game can't be this very brutal title: my question(s): is american mcgee working on another game? or is my statement about the brutal title just nonsense?

for going back to the materialistic roots of the topic: i sincerely want an signed homework by anybody who made signed homeworks. i'll send you, my dear homeworksender, something i did at school. you can get one of these (if you, my dear reader, send me a piece of homework): the introduction of mr udp fighting against mr tcp a test in german (i mean the school subject german) maths stuff (anything you like) 1 page about operating systems an essay (in german) where i explain how to get rid of old people i apologize for the fact that i can't offer you homeworks (i...hmm...rarely made them) or my fantastic test in german (again: school subject) where i wrote about god living in a tree house. you may ask "why this offering?". this is very easy to explain: i'm curious how homeworks from foreign countries may look like... [edit] here is an example for my exemplary attention at school. -

i'll analyze this sentence just for you: Oh crazy! I love Austrians!. for our poor americans: Austrians != Australians Austrians = the most awesome creatures in the world! so: Oh crazy! I love the most awesome creatures in the world!. crazy = lovely Baldur's Gate 2! Let's play all night long! Oh lovely Baldur's Gate 2! Let's play all night long! I love the most awesome creatures in the world! Baldur's Gate 2 = Ryam BaCo on drugs Oh lovely Ryam BaCo on drugs! Let's play all night long! I love the most awesome creatures in the world! drugs = his girlfriend and not me (ohwjljasdf how sexist...) Oh lovely Ryam BaCo on his girlfriend and not me! Let's play all night long! I love the most awesome creatures in the world! awesome = attractive, cute, handsome, nice and awesome (not awesome on the left side - an another awesome, of course!) Oh lovely Ryam BaCo on his girlfriend and not me! Let's play all night long! I love the most attractive, cute, handsome, nice and awesome creatures in the world! creatures = Ryam BaCo Oh lovely Ryam BaCo on his girlfriend and not me! Let's play all night long! I love the most attractive, cute, handsome, nice and awesome Ryam BaCo in the world! the most = the in the world! = ! Oh lovely Ryam BaCo on his girlfriend and not me! Let's play all night long! I love the attractive, cute, handsome, nice and awesome Ryam BaCo! now...justify that: and...my dear gay friends: hahahahahaha! no one does. not even woman. and now...i beg your pardon, but now i have to play neverwinter nights. all night long. -

ahm...welll...yes. seducing other people, who are not your girlfriend, while avoiding cheating her is probably verrry complicated. so it can just be done by clever austrians. why should i else offer you a candlelight dinner with wannabe competitors? that's austrian diplomacy. hmmm...another one: - give top secret indiana jones takeout nude scene to yufster. and you won't can't let the american chris win. his country is reigned by austrian(s). -
i ask this question maybe because i don't know much books of kafka: when did kafka write about flies? i just remember him writing about bugs in...hmmm...the metamorphosis (? - i don't know the english title of the book)

i made my whole nwn module while listening to classical music. i needed that for designing the whole area, writing the story, the dialoges and the poems. so i usually listen to music but sometimes i don't.

it's always funny to read english german-wannabe words: Ubermensch: what about Übermensch? Doppelganger: what about Doppelgänger? Übermensch and Doppelgänger are beautiful german words. use them. they are really beautiful. believe me.

just by corrupting her mind: - give green card to yufster. - give job offer as designer and/or artist of double fine productions to yufster. - give millions of billions of €€€€€€€ to yufster. - give the possibility of making the game of her dreams with the people at double fine to yufster. that must be enough. oh, okay, another one so that my girlfriend - hopefully - won't kill me for cheating her: - give candlelight dinner with tim schafer and/or chris remo and/or brad pitt (every girl likes brad pitt, don't deny it, because i won't believe you) [edited] and/or harrison ford to yufster. -
rear frogs. --> 4 advantages: 1) the frogs will eat all the insects 2) you could teach them how to talk and earn millions of €€€€€ out of budweiser spots 3) the frogs will tell you everything about the weather (right after you taught them how to talk) and you'll earn millions of €€€€€€€€€€€€€€ because of your prognoses 4) when the frogs are dead you could sell them to restaurants and earn millions of €€€€€€€€€€ or sell their organs to sick frogs of rich people (i'm pretty sure that all celebrities will have frogs as pets in a few years) to save their lives and earn millions of €€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€ or get millions of €€€€€€€€€€€€€€€ from the frog's life assurance.

something told me that yesterday was chris's birthday. and, dear chris, just because your name is so ultra-awesome i wish you a happy un-birthday! here's my un-birthday present for you - an un-birthday quote from through the looking glass: awesome, huh?

my best xbox-games? hmmm...i'd have to look after my imaginary xbox and its imaginary games, but i could post the games of my brother's xbox, which are good: 1) kotor - awesome, wonderful, addictive,... 2) hmmm...there are no more games i really played/enjoyed on my brother's xbox... 3) indiana jones and the emperor's tomb - could be probably a good game, but i wasn't able to play it longer than 10 minutes, because controlling indiana jones with unprecise xbox-controller was pretty brrrrrr. just brrrrr. good word.

0.99999... with an infinitive number of nines can't be the same as 1 because 1 is 1.00000... with an infinitive number of zeros... you can't subtract infinitive numbers, because an infinitive number is not equal to another infinitive number. example: infinitive - 8 is still infinitive so infinitive - infinitive could be everything. and 9.9999999... - 0.999999... could be something like 9.00000000...0001 which is not 9 to clear my first post up.

you can control just one player in the football game anstoss action. it's like fifa with a better management part. i got this game from a games magazine but i stopped playing it after five minutes because it bored me to dead...
