  1. my fan made monkey island game

(Best Thread Ever. I came here by a link, so I don't know, but if this isn't a sticky, it needs to be) You mightn't remember me, I haven't been here in a while. Anyway, monkeydang you are teh coolest dude ever, you're right to braq about your brilliance! I mean, replacing adventure games with a Microsoft Power Point Presentation with Monkey Island screenshots in it....Its so incredible! I can't wait to read more of you Sam & Max story because I want to know the ending. It was so fabulously cool! I'm making a fangame too, and you are obviously such a great person that my game would crash and burn without you at the helm to guide us away from such enemies as sensical plots, animation, and the laws of causality. Best Thread Ever.
  2. Jazz Jackrabbit

On a recent trawl through memory lane, I encountered a recollection of playing Jazz Jackrabbit when I was about 7. Filled with nostalgia, I rushed to Underdogs and promptly downloaded. Does anyone else remember this game? It had great animation but far and away the soundtrack was the best part of the game. For those poor fools ( ) who haven't heard of Jazz, he's basically a rabbit with a huge gun trying to save the universe. The level designs are very diverse and original. Its a side scroller, but there were also some rudementry 3D bonus levels.
  3. Jazz Jackrabbit

Jazz2 definately was easier, probably a knee jerk reaction to people saying Jazz1 was too hard. Bucky O'Hare eh? I remember a Jazz TV show, am I thinking of Bucky O'Hare? He had a space ship, and I believe his engineer was a rodent of some sort. I'm not sure which was was released in what countries, but as always, go to underdogs for all of them.

  5. Tell Us About Yourself

Hi, I'm Alastair from the UK (well, NI to be precise, if you want to pick hairs). Frequent poster on the AGS boards, used to be a frequenter of LucasForums, and now I'm here. I like chicken, Red Dwarf, The PJs (show with Eddie Murphy), adventure games, and AGS. My current hobbies include fast cars and fast women programming, animation and general (home based) adventure game creation. I haven't done my GCSEs yet, but I'm mature, and wise enough to remember games like Maniac Mansion, and to find <-that funny. I joined back in June, but I forgot to ever post.
  6. Maniac Mansion

A personal revamp of the MM theme made by me Why? Because I care.
  7. This is really just bruises left over from the Zelda fiasco isn't it? No? Okay. I agree. The graphics in cell shaded games wang chum. Either do proper cartoony style or realistic style. Cell shading just looks wierd. I mean, who wouldn't have prefered to sail around on a REALISTIC boat. And fight a REALISTIC Gannon? :\
  8. Loom

The CD version sucked. The original was much better. I never thought I'd ever say that...
