That is a real possibility. Since they've gone PS3 exclusive though, it won't matter to me all that much. It would be a bit of a shame, since their trailers were nicely done.

From following the development of Haze, I get the feeling that it plays a long game - the gameplay changes along with the story. A snapshot of one place probably won't do it justice.

Yay! Saw it the other night. Great fun. Good soundtrack. Very satisfactory performance by Downey Jr.

The art style and graphics are pretty rubbish. When you're in the same "animé-RPG" bracket as Squaresoft, you really need to try harder. I don't see anthing wrong with the premise though. There's lots of animé and manga like that out there.

Going to rewatch this epsiode. It mostly seemed like set-up, with a bit of character development for Tyrol. Baltar really does seem to have turned over a new leaf though. What is it with making the two female leads really unlikeable this series? First Roselyn, then Starbuck. Kara is really pissing me off with her crazy whining. Hopefully she will get to shoot some stuff soon.

It is a strange one Wrestle. I liked it, but as not much as Andersons previous films (Tenenbaums remains my favourite). I think I'm going to have to watch it again, to see if there's some kind of subtle pattern in there. It feels like there ought to be. Even more than the previous films, it's like an art house movie, a very cryptic mood-piece.

Is there not some kind of in-joke yet about hooker killing? You would think so seeing all the fuss it caused in the mass media, to the point where it is all a lot of people know about the franchise. It would be great to see headlines about "Police Searching For Liberty City Slasher" and "Another Body Found". Hmm, how about GTA: Victorian London next time? Jack the Ripper would make an excellent protagonist.

I found out the most fantastic thing tonight. Our very own B0b is currently London based, working for a huge conglomerate gaming company. This means he does not have much time to visit his girl here in Brighton. She told me, tonight, that she has been getting jealous of this "Michelle", who he just took out for a date bowling in GTA4, and banned him from answering any calls or text messages from her. This is some kind of awesome metagaming going on right here.

Yay! I finally got a copy of Okami for PS2 (after going round every shop in town and finding none I simply ordered it. Sorry highstreet shops, but you are your own worst enemy). I'm loving it. Or rather I was loving it until it went TOTALLY MEAT CIRCUS on me, what with Grandpa Fucking Orange and his Fucking Konohuna Fucking Shuffle. suddenly I cannot perform an action adequately that I had no problem doing before. Oh and this time it is timed, down to about 2 seconds whereas before I could take as long as I like. Do I suck at the game? If so then I will happily admit it while I pound your stupid face into the floor. Erm, no not you. Not sure who I was talking to then. Sigh.

Heh weird that GTA would adapt a cop system from a Driver game of all things. The whole game sounds awesome though. I am sad that it will probably be a year or two before I get to play it

I think her little speech to Baltar explains her position - that because she is dying she is less inclined to bugger about being nice and just to people. She is desperate to complete her mission to save mankind before she dies, even if she has to piss off a lot of people to do it. I had a sudden thought while watching the episode. What if the prophecy about a dying leader taking the peoples to Earth is not about Roselyn after all. What if it turns out to be Baltar? The scene on the Demetrius coincides with the Baltar saying "before you can truly know that person, know the truth about them". It kind of reflects the truth about Anders, which we know, and the truth about Starbuck, which we don't.

I briefly worked in a third-party online marketing department. Good, clever marketing benefits everybody as it can both inform and entertain. Unfortunately most marketing managers (like managers everywhere) are not clever, and so they approach the problem with brute force instead. In the end the buerocracy got too much for me and I quit.

So basically three out of the four are going nuts. Only Anders is holding it together. And I'm pretty sure Starbuck is going to fuck him up plenty in the near future. Looks like we're also going to see a Colonial religious war to mirror the cylon civil war. Fun times ahead!

I found the sight of Mrs Tigh in a Number Six wig to be faintly ridiculous. I couldn't take those scenes seriously. I am really looking forward to the moment when Six discovers what Tigh is. Her reaction would probably be more extreme than the humans'. Not sure what is next for Chief Tyrol. I feel sorry for the guy. I was confused by the bit where Adama basically said that he knew Tyrol was a cylon. Was that just in the Chief's head?

I only played GTAIII briefly, but yes it is very plain compared to Vice City and San Andreas. I was quite tempted to buy Vice City Stories the other day.
