Like I said; Kylie Klones On the plus side it is much more bearable than the deluge of boy-bands and girl-groups that we had in the 90s. Those kind of acts are still around of course - thanks to the likes of X-factor ad nauseam - but they are not as all-pervasive. Thank fuck.

Yeah same problem here. I die when no-one is oncreen. The only way I can make kills is by spamming attack when I'm on-top of a stationary player. Also the scoreboard told me that the only player with any points was spaff, ir the server I guess. Still, I think I'm getting better at maneouvering.

Good lyrics, but the chorus and music is utterly generic pop IMO. You can get the same from any Kylie clone. I think the title may be a reference to MGS3.

I agree with Chris (and Tycho) totally about Danté's Inferno. It's such a dumb match of source material and game genre. I like action games and killing stuff aplenty - but not every story can be told through the medium of dance slaughter. It's really really dumb. It's stupid. It's idiotic. It is other terms meaning mentally deficient. This game concept is mentally deficient. I'm really not exaggerating when I say that it is this kind of thing which stops people in other creative industries from taking gaming seriously. Oh, and another great episode guys I must remember to type up some goty.cx nominations.

For those that remember the BBC pilot for Being Human earlier in the year - a drama about a werewolf, and vampire and a ghost sharing a flat - it looks like the full series will start soon. This teaser has popped up. I asked the series writer Toby Whithouse about it and he said:

I'm having problems with installation; it freezes on the .NET section. Not the whole PC, just that installer. I guess it could have been working, just really really slowly, but in the end I cancelled it manually. After that I get an error message each time I try again// OH WAIT it's installing now. there was a progress bar that was behind all the other windows. You might want to bring that to front.

I see they also announced Dante's Inferno as a 3rd person action game ¬¬ :shifty::shifty:

OH MAN. I just reached the end of the main questchain in Dragonblight, where the Horde and Alliance finally assault the Wrathgate. Holy shit that stuff is epic! At first I was like "Huh. Cool". then I was "Whoa" and then I was like "WHOAH!" and then I was like "Holy crap" and then I was all "ahhhg!" and then I was "man that was cool". Then I was "cry". Then suddenly I was "ohbutwait-theresmore?" so then I was "crazy!" followed by "this is gonna ROCK". Then I went in and was like "oops" and so I waited and then I go "CHAAARRRRGE" and and and and then we all went hooray and then damn and then it was all over. So yeah. Blizzard are in fact pushing quite a few boundries here, and trying out new stuff for their MMO design. They are using the open world instancing more than I expected and it works great. It allows them to get a lot more plot development in there. yes PLOT! Those people that complain that nothing actually happens in MMOs may have to reasses in the near future. My only sadness is that I wasn't with my homies when it all went down, and I don't think you can replay open world instancing with the same character. Hurry up slowpokes!

Yeah but it is an American movie, so the audience would have been confused by the name "cluedo". I mean just look at Chris now, he is expressing the classic signs of fear and confusion brought on by exposure to the word. Nobody knows why it has this affect on them. It's a genuine mystery.

The game really did make me laugh out loud. I was playing "straight" at first, trying not to break anything but also buying loads of stock. So eventually everything did fall down and the rage kicked in. The epic Carmina Burana-style music is just perfect and utterly hilarious. Also read this
