I just don't like the ones that re-use existing promotional art or screenshots. Like Jake, I'm not too pissed off when they're a tad lazy with the font. they're all first drafts anyway.

I like the SA ones more than the NeoGAF ones. Or at least, I think there are fewer misses in their thread. It's depressing when someone posts an entry that misses the point entirely.

I read an article about that recently, about the man who started using it that way and how both then and now it signals a paradigm shift the way information is shared. I shall have a look for it.

Also I know that game off by heart, so yeah I do know what he did on both those occasions and I also know how he could have done it differently and also all the bits he left out. I did skim through it but I didn't need him to tell me what happened in the game; I was just reading for his personal reactions.

I liked The Path. Sure it's an art game. It's a good art game. We have a thread about it elsewhere. I'm not too bothered about trying The Graveyard though.

I got bored and stopped reading when he killed Juhani (and revealed that he did the same thing while light side). Shows noobishness that does. Light side or Dark side, you can recruit her to your cause. I actually went back and did this myself a little while ago. It was fun, but it was made before Bioware got a handle on properly integrating darkside options into the plot. Too many 'murderous idiot' options and not enough 'villainous mastermind'. I think the Renegade path in Mass Effect was done much better, to the point where I think it may be the preferred version of the story.

Ahhg, it's not the babies that are creepy, it's the women! Women are creepy. There I said it.

It's called becoming a household name. There may be a single verb or adjective which I cannot think of right now. Other classic examples (from the UK at least): Hoover, Biro, Xerox, Photoshop.

My ancestor patented the wheel. You all owe me money. Also fire.

Please rename this thread

I love that term, it reminds me of the days when knowing tables was the height of HTML. Oh I see what you were trying to do. Make parts that were not revealed on first click?

I find it kinda cool. Like an Easter Egg.

I want to hunt El Chupacabras. Also wabbits.

Time to start looking for a therapist?

My gods it's like being 12 again. Ps I chose cabbage. But then I knew the answer already. Supposedly the word 'six' sounds like 'sex' which triggers the Freudian association with carrots. If that's true then it won't work as well on people whose first language is not English.

Another interview. Keeps sounding better and better. Still at least a year off though, I reckon. One thing I will say, after reading that interview, is that if new MMOs want to 'learn from WoW' in any sense, then they need to pay more attention to it. WoW has actually made some changes to the world. Maybe not so non-players would notice, but then why would they? OK I'm going to stop defending WoW around the place now. Just know that if you spout something about it and you haven't played it for over 6 months, then you are probably wrong.

One day, when civilization has collapsed and begun to rebuild itself again, people will refuse to believe that we had this spoiler tag technology, no matter what the hieroglyphics show on the tomb walls.

After an impromptu Monday night Evil Thumbs, where expert mode chewed us up and spat us out into the more comfortable advanced mode, it is time to get the series back on track to it's normal Sunday night slot. Sunday 26th April 9pm GMT I'd like to move to expert eventually, since advanced is a little too easy. But we need a super confidant team first.

But once you've clicked it, you can't un-click it! Still nifty

It's a sequel and a spin-off. Yeah, it's just not a narrative sequel. No connection to Fallout 3 except for the Fallout backdrop. But way to confuse everyone, Hines you mug.
