I think what puts me off SC is the unit design. They have no style at all, being combinations of grey boxes.. I like my RTS armies to have a bit of character. This is probably the reason I could never get into TA either.

C&C3 is looking nice indeed; a lot more exciting than Tiberium Sun. Also return to video cutscenes = hilarious win. The next few years might well be good for RTS - Company of Heroes has been called "the half life of RTS", and if nothing else it puts RTS graphics on a footing with FPS. I really should carry on playing it now that I finished NWN2.

So what's the buzz 9on this game? All I remmbr from the early previewss is "you have an in-game counterpart of a huge ultra powerful mech"

Hah, snubs, I got taught the best way to do that, by my old karate teacher who also used to teach us some shiatsu massage. Not sure I can explain this in text, but what you do is: lie down flat. stretch out your arms to either side, so your shoulder are flat on the floor. now, bend one knee. Keeping that foot on the flat knee, take the bent knee over the other leg and try and touch it to the floor. It's easier to have someone to do it to you. Shiatsu feels gooood (hasn't this come up on the forum before?..)

I think I do something very similar. I can crack my knuckles infinitely by making a claw and then curling it into a fist. But this feels different to the normal "popping" of joints so I don't do it any more. All my joints pop pretty easily lately. Every time I stretch my back, shoulders and elbows crack loudly. But the one that feels the best is cracking my neck by twitching my head to the side. ahhhhh.

Wow, thanks for posting the video; I had no idea this thing existed. I doubt it made it to the UK. For some reason its existence pleases me, though I don't know why.

For the last couple of weeks Steam has refused to connect for me. This is what we feared all along My system hasn't changed at all. It just wont connect, and more than that, it gives the same cannot connect message even if i attempt to start in offline mode or even quit the initial pop-up. And yes I have removed and reinstalled it. I am cry

Oh, I've combed that page many, many times. I've followed every link and instruction on it. I think I'm going to try reinstalling again. Yeah, generally I like Steam, but this really is a pain in the ass.
